    Tandoori Chicken

We were craving for some Indian food (or more of me craving) and I always passed by this place but never got a chance to try it out. We ordered online for pickup and when we got here we noticed a function hall and some kind of event. The guests were wearing traditional Indian outfits and all of them look good. We ordered Biryani and the Chicken Tandoori and it was truly an Indian food. I have multiple friends who are from India (Kerala, Bangalore/Bengaluru and Orisa) who I have tried their dishes and these remind me of my friend from Kerala. It's a bit spicy for my tolerance, but it tastes good. I would come back again here and try out their other dishes.

For the last several years, we have made Indian buffet a tradition for lunch in the office because we get a half day off for either Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve. The bunch of us that choose the same day will head over to Royal Palace to enjoy the AYCE buffet. In years past, the food has been better with more variety that included lamb & goat dishes and more vegetables served on a couple of buffet islands. This time, food is served in several covered chafing dishes on long tables and choices were more limited and the only protein is chicken in 4 dishes. 2 dishes lean more toward Chinese cuisine. The butter chicken is usually pretty good, especially over basmati rice. Run back to the buffet tables if you see the tandoori chicken being brought out from the kitchen. It's worth it. The best is when they bring the fresh onion and garlic naan basket to your table straight out of the tandoor oven. That hot flat bread is incredible. A mango lassi and a double helping of rice pudding for dessert and I'm happy.

I would say run don't walk to this location and have some delicious cuisine. You should know brunch is served daily from 11 to 4 and may I tell you the food is delicious the service is impeccable and the ambience is very upscale and relaxing. I love Indian food, but the samosas that I had today had to be the best I've ever eaten. The biryani rice is amazing. Please go and have an amazing time. You will not regret that at all. I promise you.

Love Royal Palace. It's the real deal! We've been coming here for a looong time. They also cater big parties, so don't get freaked out if the parking lot seems full. The restaurant might be fine. There's a buffet weekdays for lunch (not sure about weekends). The staff is very pleasant and helpful and the mixed drinks are quite yummy (try the mango martini if that's your speed). I liked the chicken saag and my companion had the chicken vindaloo (that's some spicy stuff!) Great naan too.

I came here for the lunch buffet. They had a variety of chicken and vegetarian dishes. Most of the dishes are very mild and not spicy at all which is what I think what the goal was. I prefer my Indian Food on the spicier side, so this didn't scratch the itch I had for a spicy meal. I even ordered jalapeño naan and that was also kind of bland. I'll leave it at four stars because in no way should I disregard their main menu without trying it.

Been a while since I came here. I heard they renovated so im looking forward to go back. I Went to dine in with a Groupon deal and it exceeded my expectations. The dining area was beautiful and noticed they have a banquet hall too and there was a big Indian party going on. It looked so fun I almost wanted to join. Good food menu, lots of options to pick. Everything was delicious even the vegetarian dishes. My weakness that day was the hot bread they served. It was mouthwatering. Service was very fast and friendly. Lots of Parking Definitely looking forward to go back again

Pretty good food. All flavors were on point for me . It definitely wasn't the best Indian I ever had but I would come again. The cashier asked I want to pay cash or card since it's cheaper so I payed cash. The cashier gave me wrong change and was looking at me like what was I looking for . But they got sorted out. Over not not bad.

This place has been updated. New floors and paint. Bright and clean. Delicious food. The lunch buffet is a great value. Friendly and attentive staff. The butter chicken was excellent. Not sure what the other dishes were that I ate from the buffet. Something with spinach and something with lentils were also excellent!

There is a moderately sized municipal parking lot across the street which you can pay for with the passport parking mobile app. The venue is small with a few tables and appears to be more of a take out rather than dine in spot. The server was very friendly and cleaned off the table frequently of empty dishes. The venue was clean and had Bollywood tunes playing in the background creating a nice and cozy atmosphere. We tried various small plates which included the dhokla, samosa chaat, & chicken samosas. The apps were small in portion but were well seasoned and absolutely delicious! The chicken samosas were served with ketchup and had a slight kick to them. For main courses we tried a plain dosa with sambar and coconut chutney, the butter chicken bowl & a paneer khati roll. The dosa was crisp and beautifully paper thin. The butter chicken was served over white rice & was very tasty. We only wished it had more gravy on it. The khati roll was packed full of paneer and not overly spicy. We loved the dhokla and samosa chaat so much we ordered a second set to take home. The venue offers traditional drinks like masala chai and mango lassi in addition to traditional sweets. The menu is small but fun and great for a quick bite to eat. Definitely looking forward to returning!

We arrived at the restaurant a little before 3PM and were told that the Lunch Special had ended. However, at the time we went, the online menu stated that the Lunch Special went on until 3PM. I pointed that out and thankfully, a different waiter allowed us to order from the Lunch Special menu. The decor and set up of the place was lovely with fancy touches. I ordered a Mango Lassi, as well as a Lunch Special Platter. The Mango Lassi was sweet and refreshing, though not thick enough for me. For my meal, I went with the Goan Shrimp Curry with Garlic Naan (for an additional charge). This was served with onion fritters, sag paneer, basmati rice, cucumber raita, pappadum, as well as rice pudding. The Goan Shrimp Curry only had 3 shrimps in it, but they were large in size and quite juicy. The Curry sauce was wonderfully comforting, savory, and well seasoned. Onion Fritters were perfectly crispy and full of bold flavor. The rice was cooked well and Garlic Naan was delightfully buttery with strong garlic taste. Rice pudding was nicely fragrant and sweet. Service was good. Our waiter was friendly and accommodating. Everything came out in a timely manner. Prices were reasonable. I might return if I'm in the area, but would not go out of my way to do so.

The restaurant itself is very nice. I will say, they didn't have the lights dim at all, so it was quite bright in there, which kind of took away from the date night ambience of it. That being said, they clearly do a lot of take out orders and that might be part of why they have the lights up brighter. The staff was friendly enough. This is definitely a place where they are not trying to get done and out the door quickly. If you are on a time crunch, either choose somewhere else or let them know in advance. They encourage ordering the courses one at a time (ie they'll come back for your order for mains) and they do not hover at all. There is overall a lack of attentiveness, but it really has more to do with them leaving you to enjoy your meal than not wanting to help. We got the avocado paapdi chat. I have never had anything like this at an Indian restaurant. It was incredibly refreshing, which was surprising because Indian food tends to be heavier and more hearty. Absolutely recommend. We also go the tikki trio, the paneer Kati rolls (my favorite appetizer we got), and the lamb samosas. The lamb samosas were the only thing that didn't absolutely blow us away. They were perfectly nice, but the other dishes were awesome. We then got the Dal Tadka and the chicken saagwala and some garlic naan. The dal was great. Had almost of a stew/soup consistency, but I could have eaten it for days (and then I used the leftovers for a kind of indian/lentil shakshuka, so I was super happy to have leftovers). The chicken was perfectly cooked. Super tender and juicy and the saag was so smooth and flavorful. Overall, would absolutely come back. The prices are also incredibly reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.

Note, I haven't ordered for a few months so I don't know if owners changed or what. I ordered the goat curry, chicken biryani, and vegetable korma... and what a disaster. Now, I ordered through uber which showed a BOGO so why not... But what I got was sacrilege - and I say that as a South Asian. Like, I would be embarrassed to serve this to my family. My mom would be ashamed of me if I cooked like this. The goat curry used to be plentiful and thick now it's obvious they split 1 order into two containers to make it seem like BOGO and it's incredibly watery and thin. The goat isn't even cooked through and the curry flavors didn't penetrate - lazy cooking. The biryani - omg what? It's not biryani. I have no idea what it is, it's some chicken in some curry sauce mixed with some rice and they're busy trying to rip you off with pretend "BOGO" so they split it in two and dump white rice on top. Why even bother offering BOGO?! I will never order from here again. This isn't Indian food and it's definitely not quality. This is a joke. Please save your money.
