We love ordering from Coromandel and while I miss dining in their old location, I am very happy…read morethat we are finally able to order and have the same great food brought straight to our home. It's convenient but I would prefer the delivery money go straight to them. Unfortunately, because of the distance, we have to use third party delivery. Last night, I was craving something healthy, so we opted for Indian. My son and I shared our dishes, shrimp biryani and lamb saag, hubby had his tandoori chicken and our Little had some butter chicken. We got some garlic naan and pickled veg (achar) on the side, along with a mango Lassi. Everything was great, although the saag was a bit bland to me. Next time I order it, I think I'll ask for them to spice it up because my usual go to is their phaal, so that's probably why I felt it was missing something. In any case, Coromandel will always be our local spot for Indian cuisine.

I ordered delivery from here. The food arrived impressively hot…read more I was a bit underwhelmed by the flavors. The kadai paneer, saag paneer, and daal all tasted a bit sour. They also don't allow you to ask for additional spice, which may have helped with the taste. On the positive side, the paneer was firm and the dishes included a generous portion of it. I enjoyed the chili garlic and pashwari naan. The sweetness of the latter was great for dipping in the savory sauce. The plain naan was a bit tangy. The vegetable samosas were large and very crispy. Overall, a decent option for Indian cuisine, but not my favorite.

A friend had suggested placing the order the evening before so it would be ready on time, and that is what I did. The restaurant even called me after placing it to confirm it was for the next day, and I confirmed that it was. We didn't order much, but what we ordered we loved. We got an order of samosas, paneer korma, and paratha. All of what we ordered was delicious. We were running a bit late, and the restaurant was kind enough to store our order in their fridge until we got there since I informed them that we wouldn't be eating it until later. Overall, I can't wait to have this food again - my one and only tip would be that I would have loved a mixed veg/paneer option for my Korma!

I was not a big fan of the vegetable biryani, even though it looked promising with fried shallots sprinkled on top. It had too much cardamom powder in it, and that threw off the flavor profile. Would love to try other items on their menu. Get their jalapeno (not mint sauce). Would appreciate it if the restaurant made it possible to enter comments for the food items being ordered on doordash so we can make a few remarks on which sauce i would like with my order. FULL disclosure. This was a DoorDash order so I give slack in my review. I am sure everything is…read moreeven more delightful when served in house. I ordered: Kerala beef pepper fry, kadai chicken, and kung pao chicken. Everything had wonderful flavor. I love things spicy, but when ordering from a spot for the first time, I order things medium. I wouldn't mind trying the "hot" versions of these dishes, but the "medium" versions usually give the most accurate representation of flavor. The Kerala beef (madras curry, coconut, red chiles, lentils) had an extra kick to it, and was very tasty. It would be best served table-side, as a delivery order left for later would leave a lot of fat and oil. It does not make for great leftovers. The kadai chicken (onion, tomatoes, ginger, garlic, fresh coriander) was a more mild tasting dish. Enjoyable flavors. I also got the kung pao chicken because of the attractive photo on the website, but it was underwhelming. Tasted fine, but the Indian inspired dishes pack more punch. This place has chicken tikka masala, multiple iterations of naan, biryani, paneer, lamb, samosas, butter chicken (the palm colored people favorite). They also have several grill and wok dishes: tandoori tikka, peri peri lamb, ginger fish, various iterations of lamb chops, various flavors of chicken wings, Szechuan beef, and more. The food was good, especially for delivery. Would not order for delivery again, as table-side would be much better. Great flavors. The place is probably perfect for this area, even if it has a bit of an identity crisis. Is it Indian? Chinese? Doesn't matter. Try it out and determine for yourself. You'll find something tasty for sure!

There is a moderately sized municipal parking lot across the street which you can pay for with the passport parking mobile app. The venue is small with a few tables and appears to be more of a take out rather than dine in spot. The server was very friendly and cleaned off the table frequently of empty dishes. The venue was clean and had Bollywood tunes playing in the background creating a nice and cozy atmosphere. We tried various small plates which included the dhokla, samosa chaat, & chicken samosas. The apps were small in portion but were well seasoned and absolutely delicious! The chicken samosas were served with ketchup and had a slight kick to them. For main courses we tried a plain dosa with sambar and coconut chutney, the butter chicken bowl & a paneer khati roll. The dosa was crisp and beautifully paper thin. The butter chicken was served over white rice & was very tasty. We only wished it had more gravy on it. The khati roll was packed full of paneer and not overly spicy. We loved the dhokla and samosa chaat so much we ordered a second set to take home. The venue offers traditional drinks like masala chai and mango lassi in addition to traditional sweets. The menu is small but fun and great for a quick bite to eat. Definitely looking forward to returning!

But I was excited to discover that Himalaya offers authentic Nepalese, Tibetan and Northern Indian cuisine, so I decided to step outside my comfort zone and explore the Himalayan side of the menu. We started with momos, Tibetan-style dumplings, which I was especially excited to try. They can be ordered steamed or fried, and we went with the mixed fried set, which included 2 veggies, 2 chicken and 2 beef momos. I tried the chicken and beef, while my daughter took the veggie ones home. We also wanted to try something specifically Tibetan, so we went with Sha Phaley, a traditional Tibetan meat-filled bread/pastry. Ours was filled with seasoned beef, fried and served with a chili and tomato chutney on the side. The chutney had a nice balance of tomato and spice and was a great complement to both the momos and the Sha Phaley. For our entrées, my daughter ordered Jalfrezi curry with onions and Himalayan sauce. The sauce had a bit of a kick, so I'll have to take her word for how good it was! Of course, I had to grab a piece of the beef with some garlic naan to try it for myself -- and I really enjoyed the curry. For myself, I chose the fried noodle mix with several proteins. The noodles were flavorful and the portion was generous -- enough to take some home for another meal! There are lots of pluses here: welcoming staff, a warm and inviting ambience, a full bar and plenty of free parking in the lot behind the restaurant. They also offer many vegetarian and gluten-free options, plus lunch specials Tuesday through Friday. And if you're looking for some weekend entertainment, they have live music Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.
