Fabulous spot for good Indian food. The vibe is authentic. When you walk in, you can smell the curry in the air. It reminds me of Murray Hill in the city where there are Indian spots everywhere and the smell of fresh curry lingers in the air. I love that smell. NH44 is the national highway of India going from north to southeast. I love places where the name has a deeper meaning. The Chicken Tikka Masala is really good. It comes out really hot and stays hot. It's full of flavor. Highly recommend. 9/10 The Lamb Jalfrezi was excellent. I liked it even better than the tikka masala. 10/10 The Rogan Josh was pretty good and had a nice kick to it. This was more of a kick to it and was more hot spice than spice flavor. 8/10. The service here is excellent. I highly recommend this spot if you are interested in authentic Indian cuisine. Thank you for an amazing night.

LACCHA PARATHA

Disappointing food and flavors I ordered via UberEats and got the kungfu gobi, the paneer tikka masala, a laccha parantha, and an onion naan Let's start with the pros - The food came well packaged and therefore still warm - The portion sizes were decent and they were generous with the amount of paneer in the paneer tikka masala Now on to the cons - the food was awful in flavor. The gobi was extremely sweet and almost syrupy when it came to the sauce it was coated in - The paneer tasted like Shaan masala right out of the masala packet. The flavors had not been cooked or developed at all. I almost felt sick after a while (no food quality issues; just the yuckiness) - The laccha parantha wasn't a parantha at all. It was a laccha tandoori roti as you can see from the picture - The onion naan was fine. A bit burned in the middle but that happens with the tandoor occasionally Overall, a very disappointing experience. I picked this place over other local options due to the high rating. But would not order again.

This is a really great Indian restaurant with high quality food, amazing flavors and really attentive staff in a really colorful, nice space. We ordered several appetizers and a few entrees and they were all great- they don't skimp on the flavors or the spice! The Kundapur Chicken- with its abundance of flavor (curry leaves! Mustard seeds!) was a highlight. But don't skip on the raita, mango chutney or onion chili- all their sauces are fresh and a great addition to the meal. When i raves about how much I loved them, I may have found extras in my take-out bag.

CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA

Amazing food and service! Highly recommend this place to others! The vegetable samosas, the chicken tikka masala, basmati rice, and garlic naan bread were all so delicious!

I had a very nice dining experience here. We started with the Samosa Chaat and The kung fu Gobi appetizers. Wow! The appetizers were amazing. The Rich tamarind and mint sauce accompanying the samosas were extremely delicious and tangy. Loved it! The cauliflower was crunchy in a nice sweet-and-sour sauce. Just perfect. For entrées, we ordered the chicken. Kundapur and chicken curry. both were done well but we liked the Kundapur better. The garlic naan that we ordered was Krispy yet fluffy and delicious. Service was good and Overall, we enjoyed our dinner.

Food was pretty good- portion size was ideal, could have been a bit more. Appetizers were delicious (ordered the gobi and papdi chaat). Spice levels good.

You no longer have to travel to India - or London for that matter - in order to find outstanding and authentic Indian food. It's right here in Hartsdale, at NH44. The owner is gracious and welcoming. The service feels personal and professional at the same time. Now for the food: maybe the best chicken tikka masala my daughter and I ever had. For starters, we had my favorite Indian vegetable dish of fried cauliflower with a Chinese inspired spicy sauce. Its name here: Kung Fu Cauliflower (or maybe Kung Fu Gobi). It's also known as Gobi Manchurian. All I can say is, if you like Chinese food too, you'll probably love this dish - especially here, where it's prepared and presented so perfectly and better than I've ever had. Dessert was Gulab Jamun which was also very good.

Love this place. First, the ambiance is little dive-ish. Yeah it's a cool name--sort of like Route 66 or I95 in the US... The interior also is a little less pleasant than a rest stop on any of those roads. Poor acoustics, cheap tables and uncomfortable chairs...but good lighting. Don't dress up in your favorite duds, you'll be way out of place. The service was awesome each time I went, I only had to get out of my seat once to fetch my waiter. I've gone back three times. Food is delicious all around with a limited. As as appetizer you must get the cauliflower--it's served general Tso style and is so good it could stop traffic, silence arguing spouses, or convert bad dates to good ones. The coconut rice is a showstopper--portion is about 2 cups --and delicious. I got the tandoori chicken which was moist and plentiful and spiced perfectly--yum. I also got the chicken Marsala and it was perfectly spiced and the portion was about 1.5 cups. The chickpeas were another home run and drenched in somewhat spicy but toothsome sauce, If it wasn't for the dreary and dismal interior this would be a five star. :-)

Came here as a spur of the moment decision on Valentine's Day and it was one of the best choices I made in a while. I was seated right away, and I had to wait a bit for the others so I ordered garlic naan and mango lassi. For my entree, I tried the Saag Paneer. Of course we had to go with the Galub Jamun for dessert. Definitely a spot I will be returning to!

But who is Martine? Who is Mimi? How is the Gelattttt? I and my team of reports answer this and more for you below. Martine is the counter to the manly man name of Martin. It is of French and Latin descent as well as of French and Latin decency. It originates, of course as a dedication to Mars. Extraterrestrial in a sense. Outside of this, my team of young buck analysts couldn't cook me up anything else. Zippo. Absolutely no information about Martine. Don't know anything about Mimi either but they summate that she "must be bussin FRFR, Gelatosss next to the train station so niche, slayyyy." Real bang up job losers. It's Gelati. Nepo hires. I needed some coffee fuel and Yelp was going to determine the rest of my day with the decision I was about to make. It was either going to make it or break it. Well, I wouldn't be writing this five star review if I hadn't had the most delicious cappuccino and caffè macchiato to be made. This little hole in the wall is so cute and reminded me of being in "un bar" in Italia. Just coffee, pasticcini, cornetti and gelato. My favorite breakfast is simple, cornetto e caffè, I don't need anything more than that. Of course I went for the cornetto alla nocciola (hazelnut almost nutella croissant) and ordered a caffè but macchiato. Exactly the way it is. Just a touch of milk to stain my coffee to perfection. My husband ordered the cappuccino (which I never ever get) and let's just say it was perfection. The barista that morning absolutely killed it, and I made sure to tell her. Not only did she make the most beautiful coffee art, the oat milk was extra creamy, fluffy when it needed to be but more of a velvety smooth texture that when you sip it, it stays foamy and not overly airy to the point it then falls flat by the time you take a few sips. Yes, Omni nailed cappuccino! Now I know a great go to spot next time I'm in this area.

I ordered a hot chai latte and a pistachio croissant. The croissant was one of the best I've ever had! The pistachio filling was made with real pistachios, which you can tell by the taste and color. The croissant itself was buttery and soft. My chai latte was good, not great, not bad. The baristas were very polite and knowledgeable about the products and even gave me a sample of the pistachio filling. Will be back soon!
