Best ice cream in town! This place truly deserves a 5-star rating -- 10/10! Service is great....

Colette H.

This place is great. I had wanted to try this gelato place for a few months. I was in the area and walked over to try it out. The line was out the door, but it was worth it! I love gelato, and I'm so glad I came here. I ordered the chocolate gelato. It was delicious. I'd try more flavors next time. But, chocolate is always my favorite. I love the ambiance here, and the lighting. There are tables and chairs located inside and outside of the shop. But, it is limited. If you're nearby, I'd recommend stopping here!

If you are looking to have an amazing and delightful ice cream or gelato, you must visit mimi's by Martines. It is one of the best ice cream I've ever had. Despite the long lines, it does moves fast. Excellent service! I can't wait to go back!

Cute outdoor seating to eat your gelato.

This is not a review about the gelato the gelato is good here. Great even. This is about their out of control ordering system. They notoriously have long wait times but the amount of times I got pushed around today by kids and entire families of 7 or 8 trying every single flavor of gelato there's no system for the line. They need to add a divider to show how the line works or someone could yell out that if you have your gelato in your hands don't stand around eating it blocking everybody else. The staff is nice but they allow their customers to bully other customers. The waits are excessive but it's the process more than the wait that I'm upset about. It's a small space, put a sign at least that says if you're done with paying and got a gelato in your hands, GO OUTSIDE! No eating in the tiny store. Absolutely ridiculous experience and since they've been opened they haven't done a thing about it. Also the tasting is excessive, they should only allow customers to taste 2 flavors at a time. I have witnessed people tasting every single flavor in sure it's costly for the business too to allow so much to be tasted. Love Mimi's but I've experienced this one too many times to not write this review. I'm hoping they ads at least a divider to make the line more civilized

Kookies & Caramel

Amazing Gelato. This place just opened tonight. Some of the most amazing flavors I have ever had. They currently have gelato and sorbet. They will have Belgian and American waffles. And Italian crepes. Ratings: #1: Kookies & Caramel #2: Cantaloupe Sorbet #3: Shakerato coffee-hazelnut (vegan) They make a great use of space and it is a welcome edition to the area. The service was exceptional. I came back a second time and actually got a full helping of the Kookies & Caramel in the cone. The cone was way better than any waffle cone I have ever had. All I could say was OMG!!!

I'm honestly surprised it took me this long to try Mimi's! My friends and I were out to dinner nearby and decided we would walk for gelato (we were full of pasta, so it was good to get some steps in). There had to be at least 20 flavors to choose from, if not more. I decided on hazelnut and I'm so glad I did. If you like Nutella, you need to order this flavor!

Worker who removed the hair and then served the rest of the gelato.

I've now tried at least 7 different flavors. Every single one lacks...well...flavor. They're all WAY too sweet too.

The portions are very small and overpriced. I overheard the way management treats their workers and it is not pleasant.

The amazing white pie is nothing like we have back West, the friendly vibe, fast service and a classic pizza shop everyone should try. RIP SAL and thanks for your tasty legacy!

I heard Sal's outdoes everyone else in this part of…read moreWestchester, so I accompanied my pizza fiend - oops, friend - down to Mamaroneck to check them out. And this is a place worth checking out. Old-school vibe inside, not at all like the new-wave joints around. You can tell Sal's has been here for generations, which means they do it right. You walk in, there's a pizza counter to the left, a few tables to the right, some more in the back... and a hidden whole other room! So there will be room for you to enjoy your meal. This review is divided for now. My friend got cheese slices. They're big, thin, covered just right in cheese - win. Crust just the right toasty to hold the slice up. Classic NY pizza we got here - everyone in Fairfield County should visit. I peeked over at the other table and they had Sicilian slices that also look legit, if that's your thing. Plenty of cheese, soft crust, all that. Then there's my side. I had looked at the BBQ place next door and decided "nah, too contrived", so when I discovered the neat-looking slices on their platter were BBQ chicken, I went for them. Well, they actually didn't come out that hot. The thickness of the meat probably got in the way. Then there's the fact they were white slices (since BBQ sauce gets in the way of tomato sauce), but not hepped up with ricotta or other white cheese inside. I'd make those suggestions for improvement. There are also some other bizarre slices on offer - they're not afraid of variety! I'd steer clear of the salad pizza though. So based on just the one visit and everything I saw and tasted - 4 stars. I would want to get a whole pie next time for a fresh-baked experience, see how quickly that goes and if it's done just right. I doubt my review will drop, but it could rise up to 5. To be continued... ... So, I came back a second time with my friend. This time, I wasn't even feeling the pizza vibe, so I went with a meatball... wedge. Which is a sub if you're not from the area. Don't be scared by the name. It was tasty, but as I expected, just meatball, cheese, and some sauce. Actually a better balance of sauce to cheese than the pizzas, I thought. I was a little perturbed that our visiting friend's white slice is just pure ricotta, no white sauce below, no mozz on top. From my second experience, I'm keeping it at 4 stars.

Inside or the beautiful, upscale outdoor dining area? Let's start with the staff. Mishka, the hostess, has it under lock and key. She greets you with such warmth every time, and what a lovely way to be welcomed. Alfredo and Danny are a duo to behold. Whether you're dining inside or outside, they have everything under control. Alfredo's help when choosing a wine is always right on par with what we're looking for -- or even better. The waiters and waitresses never miss a beat. They work like well-oiled machines and make sure you're always taken care of. And let's not forget Kevin, the bartender. Kevin has a way of making everyone feel welcome, whether you're sitting at the bar or enjoying a table. The ambiance at Underhill's is always wonderful. It has so much character and has become such a special and stable part of Bronxville. Lastly, the food! The menu has excellent options, and the specials are always worth trying. Everything comes together to make Underhill's Crossing a truly special dining experience. Thank you to all of the hardworking staff. Your dedication never goes unnoticed. And a special thank-you to Steve , the owner, for creating and maintaining such a unique and wonderful restaurant for all of us to enjoy. After all these years, we're still grateful every time we walk through the door. Thank you, Underhill's Crossing!

Do your toppings for you. I understand that post Covid. They might want to keep everything clean, but it was kind of annoying because if you only wanted a little bit of a topping, they would heap the topping on anyways because they get paid more money since the cup goes on the scale. At the very tip corner of Cedar St, Go Greenly ALSO offers Bubble Tea, smoothies and a couple of other things. On a super humid Halloween late afternoon, I finally notice them and their bubble tea grabbed my attention. Plus since I'm a lychee bubble tea addict, this was just right- for me. Go G.'s inside has a lot of sit down space by the window and the counter setup is vast as well. Service was fine and when I requested the light ice and an extra shot of Lychee in my drink, my wish was granted. I may not be a bubble tea expert- but this much I know, Go G's boba is (1) smooth and slightly soft on the outside and it was chewy all the way through (2) the lychee [syrup] was actually tasty (3) had nice tea flavor. All those factors for me, won. Ton of calories aside, I'd return.
