Never again. Had to come home and clean up my own feet. Cuticles were not cleaned up, paint all over my toes, foot was not scrubbed, he only scrubbed my toes. He scrubbed part of the bottom of my foot with a purple scrubby and now it is more rough and feels like Velcro. He cut the sides of my nails and left nail in the side of my toe. Felt like my tech was in a hurry and didn't really care since I was not getting gel nails. He appeared to be in a hurry for his next gel nail appointment. Not worth the money spent nor the time and gas to get there. I'll do my own feet next time, since I ended up having to do it anyways. read more

Was rudely told they are booked up till two days later. Made appointment and then almost gave anyone in the room my gift certificate because I did not feel welcome. When I went in for my appointment felt like a cow being motioned to sit. Was not offered any refreshments, they did not close the seat for my safety and did not start the massage chair for the full experience. The best pedicure I have had since I moved to the area 10 years ago. Liam not only did an amazing job on the nail color that lasted for a long time but he also got rid of 2 ingrown toenails that my podiatrist could not. I recommend Liam for your pedicure!! Only downside is getting through on the phone to make an appointment. The one phone line is ALWAYS busy so make follow-up appointments while at the spa, otherwise you wont be able to get through. read more

This hidden gem of Dade City is located I. The Publix Shopping Center on 301. I brought my daughter in today with me as a treat for her ballet recital on Friday. As soon as we opened the door to the nail salon, we were immediately greeted and asking how they can help us today. I told them two pedicures. The. We were instructed to pick a color from the ginormous selection of Opi and China Glaze polish. My daughter picked a light blue while I picked a dark blue. The pedicure spa massage chairs are very clean and well-maintained as I have been coming here for a while. The staff is always friendly and happy. I cannot day enough on how they treat my daughter just as nicely as they do me. The lovely ladies take there time and I never feel rushed. They do the whole pedicure spa with nail trimming, cuticle trimming, callus removal/smoothing, sugar scrub, massage with lotion, hot towel, and of course nail painting. They took me as a walk in which I am very grateful for however the woman who was doing my manicure acting like I was a burden to her and did not say one word to me the whole time. There is a dip on one of my nails, you can see my natural nails under the acrylic and you can see straight through to the other side of my finger. When held up to the light you can see straight through the polish because she only put one layer of color polish on. I also left with peeling skin around my fingernails and acrylic powder dried on them. The pedicure I was happy with and the man was very kind however when he looked at my feet he chuckled which was offensive. They are brand new in the area and looks like a great addition to the area. There are only 2 nail salons in the area and this being one of them. BRAND NEW so everything is clean. I went in on a Saturday and had to wait a little bit 15 mins or so which for a Saturday not to bad. It wasn't the best I had but not the worse. If I lived in the area I would go back. Just finished another amazing appointment at Royal Nails! I don't go anywhere else because they are truly the best in Dade City! The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. They ask questions every step of the way to ensure your nails are done exactly how you want them. If you plan on coming after 5pm on Friday or the weekend I'd recommend making an appointment with them because they are slammed! Literally the worst nail salon experience I have ever had. Just moved to the area and looking for my new nail salon...should have realized when I called to make the appointment and they were rude on the phone, obviously not caring if I made the appointment or not. When I got there for my appointment, they couldn't find it...but "luckily there was someone to help". The "nail tech" was so disinterested in doing my nails and got up four, yes four times to go take a break and came back smelling like cigarettes each time. ugh. And my manicure...where do I start. I have two open cuts on my fingers from his filing. I have uneven nail lengths. My dip nails are lumpy. yes lumpy. and he decided he was done before he put the top coat on... he just got up and went to go do a pedicure while I sat there waiting for him to come back for 10 minutes. Had to get up, go find someone else who came and finished my "manicure". WOW, what a terrible experience. For $45 I have a manicure that looks like crap. We had made an appointment 3 days before so called time and when we showed up the day before homecoming they said that they couldn't find our appointment. This is a spa that we visit regularly and even recalled speaking to Tammy when making the appointment. When we arrived Tammy actually argues with me that we must have called the zephyrhills store instead (one that I've never been too). if i could give 0 i would. i got my eyebrows done because the nail tech said i needed to in a rude tone. once i agreed, it felt off and i wax my eyebrows often. i woke up the next morning with a scar under my eyebrow meaning when she ripped my the strip off, it took off the top layer of my skin. i am beyond pissed and when i called they acted like they didn't know what to do. absolutely awful. read more

Love this place! It's always so clean. The staff are friendly and really listen to what you're looking for. I'd recommend making an appointment on the weekends. No worries if you can't. Depending on the day, you may wait a little bit, but it's worth it! Weekdays are a little less busy verses the weekend. They offer a wide variety of services. Definitely recommend a spa pedicure. I didn't make an appointment before I went so I didn't mind waiting the hour I did. The lady that did my nails was rushing when she did them. Didn't have me wash my hands I had to tell her I was going to before she cashed me out. My hands were black from the dip powder. She didn't clean my hands off and was just going to let a paying client walk out Iike that. I asked her to do a design on my nails and she did an amazing job. Not even 24 hours later the dried design had a crater in it where the air under the bubble went away. (No I didn't want air under it. I thought it was paint) I didn't pick at it and left it alone. The next day the loose polish then broke off and the man on the phone said I have to pay to get it fixed. It wasn't my fault that this happened. I understand if I messed it up but I had no control over air getting trapped under the polish and then creating the issue it did. Very unprofessional. read more

PAINFUL EXPERIENCE!!!I went in for a pedicure after three weeks of having my last pedicure. Today the older gentleman that I had was VERY ROUGH with my feet. To say the least I think I have a high pain tolerance all things considered. But he shoved the cuticle pusher into my toe and I jerked my foot back in pain. I know he cut it bc it burned when he put alcohol on my toes to clean the lotion off. I also had to ask to have the sides of my toe nails trimmed. Walk-ins are NOT welcome at the Royal Nail Salon in Dade City FL. This is the 3rd time I have attempted to get a pedicure from this salon by walk-in and all 3 times I waiting 45 mins. to an hour while I watched those who signed in before me be taken back (which it should go that way), but I also watched people show up early and on time for appts. I have been here a few times and every time I leave disappointed. First of all, it is hot as HELL. I am unsure if there is something wrong with their air conditioner, but I was highly uncomfortable the entire time. Also, every single one of my nails are a different length. They are also lumpy, uneven, and he burnt my nailbeds with his drill. They are also much thinner in some spots and very thick in others. I asked him to fix the inconsistencies and seemed irritated and told me that they were fine. Why do I want to pay $40 or more to be completely displeased? At this point, I don't believe that I will be going back and I will have to pay another $40 to have somewhere else redo them. read more
