I used to spend 3 hours at a salon to get my nails done and a pedicure. With Vanessa, I am in and out in about an hour and a half. I've heard others complain she is too quick and doesn't spend a lot of time with you, but if your schedule is anything like mine, 3 hours is much to long! Vanessa is efficient and I love the way she does my fills. I don't end up with extra stuck to my fingers so I have to pick it out as the nails grow. Even my husband has complimented me on them! Vanessa is a bit shy so don't expect to her to socialize with you unless you speak first. She is a business owner, not your friend. Both her and Joe open up as you get to know them. NEW MANAGEMENT! This shop looks amazing inside! It is not a shop you would expect to find seated next to a Walmart location! We saw Katie and Ken! The shop is clean. They sanitize before and after every customer. They had so many different services to choose from! The people inside are actually from Wiregrass Mall's nail spa- and many of the features that were unique to that location or now available to us locally at Vanessa Nail. Around Valentine's Day, my husband used to give me a chocolate pedicure gift certificate from wiregrass. I was incredibly excited to hear they had that at this location in Dade city! And it is far more convenient for me to drive there than Wesley Chapel. They were incredibly easy to get in with. Fit us in next day. And the best part... They had us in and out in under an hour. There were four of us having services done. I bring my mother, my daughter, and myself normally to nail appointments and... We typically take about two or three hours for services because there are so many of us. On this particular trip, we actually included my daughter's boyfriend... And we were still in and out of this place in about 45 minutes. I was impressed! read more

I am so happy that Vanessa and her husband bought and re-opened this nail salon! There is only one other here in Dade City, and it is always slammed With long wait Times. The salon is very clean, and the chairs are super comfortable, and the staff is very sweet. Update: I've gone back in on three different occasions after the first time and I was very dissatisfied every time. Doesn't seem properly staffed so they rush through so that they can take more customers. I will not be back again unless I hear that they've made some major changes. read more

This was the third nail salon at tried in Dade City, FL. First thought prices were a little high, then O h6st wanted a fill and a repair. But she said my nails were old and I needed a full set. Awful!!!! There's me an 1 more costumer but the main says we don't have time to give you a pedicure only do your nails. Shows me a box with colors i pick the number and it's the wrong color definitely not the color i picked he's says sometimes the colors and numbers are mixed. REALLY!! Vanessa Nails is a little hole in the wall nail salon next to Walmart. It lacks a spa-like, tranquil atmosphere, but what they lack in ambience is more than made up for in other areas. All the nail techs, including Vanessa herself, are friendly, polite, and expeditious. Despite the quick turnaround time, every employee is meticulous in his or her work and accommodates each customer's requests as best they can. Personally, I appreciate being able to walk in, have a mani-pedi done in an hour, and get on with my day. Wanted to treat my daughter and myself to a relaxing afternoon at work and school. I was driving by and saw this place was having a Grand Opening event with 15% off of any service over $15. Well, we both popped right in for classic pedicures. When we entered. Noticed how clean and nice decorated the salon was done. The pedicure chairs were new. We picked our colors and were seated by the eager nail technicians. The classic pedicure was the usual nail sculpting with a sugar scrub, massage with lotion, and hot towel. They were very detailed and gentle when working on our feet. The tools were clean and freshly removed from the sterilizing machine. They took their time with both of us and made for a relaxing and fun evening. They did a fantastic job with painting then ensuring we sat long enough for the nails to dry. We were definitely never rushed out. We will be back again for their great service and even better prices. read more

Vanessa was so nice. I called and got an appointment within a couple of hours of requesting one for a pedicure for my daughter and myself. Very pleased with the results. Shop was covid safe. Employees wearing masks and customers required to wear masks. Also manicure stations all had a desk shield for protection. read more

Vanessa and her husband Joe are great. They are extremely professional and also speak English. Their salon is very clean and they are very careful when they work with your manicure and pedicure. They provide gel, regular, and do tips. They also wax eyebrows. This nail salon is fantastic. If you make appointment they take you first if someone is waiting during your appointment time.
