I have been to VIP several times for manicures and pedicures. They always do a good job and are friendly and accommodating.

I had an 11:00 appointment didn't get in the chair until 11:45. At 12:15 only part way through and she tells me she has to leave to get her Daughter from school. I said What you are leaving and 12 min later came back. A Gel fill and it took 2 hours and 45 min. Very Thick and Uneven. Doesn't know what round square is either. This place got sold out about six months ago, and I went in there and got the worse wax job and nail polish change. I tried this place before and it is worse now. I got home and I will have to take the nail polish off because it has places on the nail that was not smooth it is just a horrible job. In fact, the nail polish appears to be old and it's still not dry. Evidently, they poured stuff in the bottle to make it go further. The worst experience I've had since I've been to ZEPHYRHILLS . If I could give them a zero, that's exactly what I would do and then the owner was a smart mouth when I was leaving because I questioned the huge bill, which was outrageous. my granddaughter, husband, and i all went to this salon based on reviews. what a disappointment! my granddaughters acrylic nails ended up different shapes with some pointing downward. most were square but 2 were round! she had him redo 3 of them and they still were terrible! she felt intimidated to say any more. my husband's manicure and pedicure were ok....ok.... no leg massage etc even though he paid for the most expensive pedicure. a real sham! but....then the really big problem. i was having a pedicure and ended up with a big cut riggt on the end of my toe. he used cotton fluff to try and stop the bleeding. .fibers kept getting stuck in cut. then the biggest problem...dropped the cotton fluff on the floor and put it back on the cut. after about an hour of bleeding i told him i was going home. my husband took me home and did his best to clean up the wound and bandage it. they did not appear to have any supply of bandages except small bandaids. my husband then returned and picked up our granddaughter who was about in tears over her nails. so a $100 plus later we r ok...ok... never ever returning! i have had many many pedicures and never had a problem! read more

I came to this place on the weekend and let me just say this is the first salon that does not put bags in the tub for pedicures which was very weird .. they also don't have new tools for when they do the pedis the older lady was in a rush because there was people coming in so she didn't even finish my hands . I went in and immediately had a bad feeling about cleanliness but i was desperate and needed my nails done as my normal place was super busy, I sat down and just got a acrylic fill with an easy design request. The man doing my nails was friendly but did a terrible job on my nails and when I asked him to try to fix one of them he tried again and it was even worse. I feel like if he wasn't capable of doing the design he shouldn't have confidently said he could. They were messy and felt like he rushed despite the fact that it was a very slow day. I didn't get a picture because i frantically ran to the nearest salon to get them done. wouldn't recommend. read more

I can honestly say that Helen is awesome and does amazing work, but why change the price without telling me before hand. This is not the first person to tell me she does this. Probably the worst experience I've had in a nail salon. I went in with the idea of exactly what I was going to get done, or what I thought I was going to get done. During my time here the lady who was doing my nails continued to sway me from my original idea for my nails. I went in wanting stiletto nails with pink polish. I left with pink and white ombré nails with glitter and "coffin" shaped. Each time I said I wanted something she would say something opposite and said it's her " personal opinion " for the nails and it will look better. After she had done the pink and white ombré I asked to do them matte and she said that she likes them better glossy and wants to add glitter. When it comes to length, FORGET IT. While she was cutting the tips she said " I know you don't want them that long " and cut where she felt necessary... The pink and white ombré nails are just the pink and white powder, no color. My nails are bumpy and uneven and they aren't even the so called coffin shape she wanted to do so badly. read more

I just relocated to the area from Virginia and I was looking for an excellent nail salon that would take care of my nails. I definitely found that at Nail VIP! They took the time to make sure my nails looked great and they were very friendly and professional. The prices are extremely reasonable as well. Have been going here almost a year. The polish last longer than any other place I have been. Mai rocks when it comes to doing nails! She takes her time, am still in and out in no time. Everyone is so friendly. Have never had to wait more than 15 minutes if any, most of the time I go in and am sat right down. I will continue to keep going! read more

HATED IT! I will never ever go back again. It was my first and last visit. I took my 12 yr old to get her nails done. I specifically told the employee what I wanted, but she decided to do a more expensive nail and then acted as though she didnt understand what I was talking about when I told her that wasnt what I wanted done. read more
