My nails turned out great, not exactly what I asked for as I wanted to try builder gel and she did acrylic. My 1st time trying almond shape, they're pretty but I'll switch back to my square round I always do. I got cat eye and a little flower design on my ring fingers. I knew those would be a little more but no amount was expressed. Technician was great and sweet. However, I go to pay and everything was line itemized charging for every single thing and it was $95! For what? I about fell over and still tipped on top of that. If I was going to pay that price I'd expect to have way more fancy nails! Crazy! I've been coming to this nail salon because the service is great, the salon is very clean, and the nail technicians are always kind and do a great job. I really enjoy the actual services I receive here. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk has been disappointing. Every time I call to make an appointment or interact with the front desk, I feel like the communication is rushed and not very welcoming at all. There is often a tone that comes across as rude or dismissive. During my last visit, there was a small misunderstanding while I was trying to pay -- I wanted to leave a cash tip and pay the remaining amount on my card. The situation itself was not a problem, but the way it was handled felt unnecessarily rushed and unfriendly. It's disappointing because the salon is beautiful and the services are great, but the front desk experience really impacts the overall visit. A little more patience, kindness, and customer service at the front would make a big difference. read more

Not happy with my experience. I was a walk-in basic manicure. This was my first manicure ever and a treat by my friend who has been coming here for a year. I waited in the bar area for a few minutes with my friend before being called. There was ZERO interaction by the nail tech. I wasn't greeted and didn't even know who I was supposed to go to. Not a good start. My friend figured it out and we sat down together. I told the tech this was my very first manicure ever. Her response "your friend will help you understand what is going on". She stuck a bowl in front of me and said nothing. This lady had zero personality and spoke maybe three sentences to me the entire time. Afterwards my friend said it was odd the tech wasn't willing to walk me through the procedure. Early on my friend was called away for their mani/pedi so I was now completely on my own. The tech wasn't very gentle as she pushed my hands into the bowl. I thought I was just rinsing them off in the lemon water. Again, no verbal communication on what I needed to do. She did a good job on the cuticles. Part way through someone brought me a white wine and pointed at my friend saying it was thanks to her. I thought my friend was treating me to a wine so I waved a thanks, only later to find out these are complimentary if you ask. My friend had to ask for me because no one offered this to me at any time. Would be nice for someone to have explained this to me when I said this was my first visit. Wondered if the techs are trained on appropriate customer service because I was not impressed at all. When the manicure was done I was asked if I wanted clear coat. This didn't seem normal for a male so I declined. She started putting things up. I saw my nails looked like sandpaper had been taken to them with no shine whatsoever. My friend later said I should have said something but I had no idea what a basic manicure consisted of. I wasn't happy and see no reason to ever have a $22 manicure again. I went home and used my $2 nail buffer to grind down the ridges I still had on several nails and shine them up. Shouldn't that be a part of a manicure? Very poor experience. The salon is nice. Lots of techs available on a Monday afternoon at 4p and 5p. They do take appointments , especially if you have a specific tech you like. Plenty of parking in this huge retail center that includes Publix, Ross, Home Sense, Play It Again Sports and Office Depot. read more

Visited Bella Nails yesterday for New Years Day. This was their First Year Anniversary. They welcomed customers at opening with a warm welcome along with Nothing Bundt Cakes and Crumbl and wonderful lychee drinks and mimosas. I am actually super surprised when I came here to see this place have less than four stars. I absolutely love this place! We are originally from Orlando and moved to Tampa about three years ago and it took us about two years to find a nice nail salon! This place has been our go to for about six months now and I cannot complain. I've been to multiple nail technicians here and each one I could say definitely did a great job! I finally found one that I go to consistently and he is absolutely phenomenal! Any Nail design I come in with he is ready to try it and he nailed it completely! Their prices are definitely very fair and I always walk out with beautiful toes and beautiful nails and a smile on my face! This place definitely deserves a minimum of four star, but I'm here to give them a five! read more

First when walking in, it's just beautiful. You feel like you're stepping into a magazine and it always smells phenomenal. I like the fact that the workers are professional and always look the part. Their prices are marked higher than many other nails salons in the area but I guess you pay for the experience. They also have a bar area which is pretty cool if you're waiting for someone to finish. They do a good job at listening to your wants, I've been too several different employees and most of them were good. The smart massage chairs separates them from everyone else, they are amazing! I'm really disappointed with my recent experience at Bella Nails. I've been getting dip manicures for years and switched to this salon specifically because I was told their dip application would last an entire month. That longevity is the only reason I get dip--it helps protect my natural nails, which grow fast and strong. Unfortunately, this time the dip was applied very thin, and within just one week, I already had two chipped nails and one that broke entirely. I also got a French tip, which looked nice initially, but the quality didn't hold up. On top of that, my gel toe polish has already chipped--something that never happens when I get it done elsewhere. I paid over $120 expecting the services to last at least a month, and instead I'm already needing repairs after a week. These are my real nails, and I take great care of them, so I'm very upset. I'm kindly requesting that Bella Nails re-do my manicure at no additional cost to make this right. I want to believe this was just a one-off, but I also need to feel confident in the quality I'm paying for. read more

The man I nail tech I had over filled my after I had mentioned several times he was hurting me. The tools they used look unclean and were touching other used tools as well. To end it all at the end of my service I went to pay and they told me they don't take American Express. Which I have used several times previously. There was no sign or anything to warn the consumer before the service. First, the salon is spotlessly clean and very well decorated. Second, my technician was awesome in a good way. She knew it was my first pedicure and sort of went easy on me. My feet are very very sensitive and she took that into account. But still did a thorough job. We both smiled a lot, we laughed a lot and overall, it was a wonderful experience. I arrived a few minutes before, Checked in, picked a color and waited. 15 minutes later, i went to the desk to ask what was happening.
