I had been wanting to get my car detailed for a while now and my only previous experience was going through a dealer. So after looking online I decided to give Royal Mobile Detailing a try. And all I have to say is "WOW"!!!! It was some of the best money I could have spent. After scheduling my appointment online (via e-mail) I was able to ask questions and plan everything out with Renatto before he arrived. When the day came, he arrived right on time and was pleasant and very nice to work with. He got right to work and had everything cleaned up (exterior and interior) within just over four hours! I hesitate to write a view about Renatto's service today. Reason being.. I don't want him to get so popular that I can't get an appointment! =) I've been through 6 detailers in and around the PDX/Vancouver area, and I haven't found one yet that I felt was worth the money and who I wanted to stick with. Royal Mobile Detailing is that company. Appointment was arranged easily, and Renatto was flexible when I had to change it due to unforeseen trip. He arrived on time, was extremely friendly and professional, and got right to work. Everything was finished to perfection. The car looks better than it did when it was new. Renatto was punctual, cheerful, professional, and unbelievably thorough. Came in under quoted time and price, as well. Couldn't be happier, well worth the money. I have a 2 y/o Nissan crossover which really didn't need much more than a good wash and wax to get ready for winter. Done, plus unexpected extras like cleaning out leaf buildup under the hood. The magic was in the used Subaru I bought as a kick-around errand car recently. To be fair, its first owner took very good care of it, but the transformation Renatto made in it -- inside and out -- is amazing. After leaving a few phone messages and finally getting a call back from them I had Renatto come out and detail my vehicle. He did a nice job but the vehicle was not immaculate like I would expect and like it was when I had another company do it last year. I found areas he did not get clean and other areas he completely missed. When I pay good money for an interior detail I expect the car to be super clean and I had to touch up his work after he left so that docks him a few stars. He did move his schedule around to accommodate me when he realized he double booked the time slot he promised me so that scored him extra points in my book and earns a star back. Edited 4 months later to add - I never received a message from Renatto as he stated in his comment below. I emailed him and never got a response back. He may have offered to make it right on here but he never followed through to actually make it right. read more

This car is not only eight years old, but it survived driving through the flames of the Camp Fire in Paradise, California last November 8th. For over an hour, this car was covered in ash and burning embers in my efforts to escape the largest, deadliest and most costly fire in California history carrying me and my four rescue dogs. In addition, immediately following the fire, my car was also parked in an outdoor lots under all kinds of flowering trees for six months. So, to say the least, Renatto from Royal Mobile Detailing had quite a mess to deal with. Renatto was polite, friendly and very hard working. Incredible job on my 2005 Toyota Celica. Years of pet ownership and regular use made the cabin of my car a breeding ground for pet hair, stains, and even mold. Renatto was incredibly attentive and maticulous while working on the interior of my car for over 3 hours. The results were outstanding, even the nastiest stains (which I ought not disclose were the result of) were diminished, and the lingering odor that was the result of my pet is gone. The bargain rate ($80) for the time and quality of service is unmatched in the Vancouver (probably Portland too) area where detail outfits regularly charge upwards of $100 bucks. Our car received a heavy dose of muddy water to the interior after driving through a pothole with the window rolled down. It was everywhere - the floor, the door, our trim, the seatbelt and even in the stitching of our leather seats.
