After a few challenges speaking with someone, my initial cleaning appointment was scheduled. The person arrived on-time, was very pleasant, and seemed to work very hard, which I greatly appreciated. When I went through to look over her work and prior to leaving, there were several things which were not cleaned well or, at all. My bronze brushed fixtures in both bathrooms were not cleaned, my granite-top counters still had grit on them (which admittedly you cannot see but, if you ran your hands over the tops it was obvious), and my table had clear stains. I mentioned them to the lady and she cleaned everything with no complaints. I texted the POC and asked to speak with her as, I need someone who is detail-oriented and this person did not seem a good fit. After back-and-forth via text, I finally received a call to convey all that occurred and to request another professional. I was assured the new person, "I would like her cleaning" and a new visit was scheduled. On cleaning day and to my surprise, two people arrived with the primary person late. There was no explanation as to why there were two people (I found out afterwards that one person was training a new employee although the trainee worked mostly alone and in the areas where I had the most issues), and they came in and after a walkthrough, began cleaning. As they were getting to the end, I walked through and took pictures noting things which needed further cleaning or initial cleaning. Before I could share with the cleaners what the challenges were, they were gone. They did not say good bye, did not leave the checklist I was promised, and there were several things which were not cleaned AT ALL: Kitchen & dining room floor, refrigerator and stove top (both stainless steel with smudges/fingerprints/food), mirror in my daughter's room clearly was not cleaned, my guest bathroom mirror and sink were not cleaned...I was not happy. One of the things which gave me pause prior to scheduling the first cleaning is the insistence on payment prior to services rendered. I have used professional cleaners before and usually payment is rendered at the completion of the cleaning or your card is charged once confirmation of the customers satisfaction. My experience with service companies is, awaiting payment is sufficient incentive to ensure the satisfaction of the customer. I sent in photos (this is a requirement before they will even speak to you about re-cleaning) via text that evening and received an email the following day...an email reply not a phone call, which I was unable to review until the weekend. The email stated they could schedule a re-cleaning on the upcoming Monday morning at 9AM but by the time I replied on Sunday, I was told Wednesday afternoon is all they have open as the other openings were filled. My life is way too busy as a single parent with a highly demanding job to continue with a service provider which clearly has challenges so, I cancelled any re-cleaning along with any future cleaning with Organically Maid. I did receive an email stating I probably needed a dedicated housekeeper (along with some story about having a short office staff which was in reference to my concern about communications) as my needs are very specific. I need the things I am paying for done, and done properly. No one pays for services which are partially completed or left undone and it would have softened the blow if they had offered some portion of my payment returned as, nothing about the service I received on 2/6 was professional! I never spoke to or heard from the owner and wondered how aware of these things they were. If they were not, they should be now and hopefully it will mean better service for customers in the future.

I inquired about move-out cleaning services offered and was sold based on the good ratings online…read moreand what the owner Alpha said when I initially asked for a quote. The texted quote from Alpha included the following, "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed. Dust Free, Dirt Free, Well Cleaned, Sanitized & Polished." I was unable to be present for the actual cleaning so when I got home to see the condition I was disappointed in certain areas, considering I had paid $351.81. The living room laminate wood floor was not cleaned properly and a large gap was missed, including every entry way into the three carpeted rooms. An exhaust vent was completely missed in the master bathroom and the shower cleaning was poor, despite us asking for special attention to the shower head which had build up from hard water. I understand we could clean this ourself but we were paying almost $400 and expected it to be cleaned. When I mentioned these things to the owner, he stated, "The shower was cleaned over & over. Some stains are almost impossible to remove." He also said, "The floor was vacuumed, mopped and then a touch of polish was applied to it. It appears that the polishing solution was not evenly applied. Please note that The floor polish was not a required step." But in the quote, polished was part of the offer, so I felt misled and as if he were trying to make it seem like he was going out of his way when he offered to come and touch up the floor. I wanted to clean the shower head myself to see if it was actually cleaned. I sprayed the shower head with cleaning solution and let it sit the appropriate time according to the instructions and used a simple Mr. Clean magic eraser on it. Nearly all the residue came off--confirming that the shower head was in fact not cleaned as mentioned. There are other things that were disappointing but I did not mention them to Alpha and he wasn't able to respond to those complaints. I simply wanted the major concerns addressed to be done with the situation. But for example, the inside of the refrigerator was cleaned but not dried and water spots were all inside the unit. Also, the garage and front doors were not cleaned and had dirty fingerprints on them--something I easily cleaned afterwards with a Lysol wipe, but shouldn't have had to. It was difficult to get back in touch with Alpha to schedule the touch ups, I must admit it felt like I wouldn't hear from him again. He did however take care of the misses personally since we couldn't work out an arrangement to leave our home unlocked/or a spare key for it to be done unsupervised. He then sent a picture of the shower head saying it was touched up, when in fact I had cleaned it myself and his "touch-up" looked no different than how it looked after I cleaned it. I will say the carpet was cleaned to my satisfaction, as were the blinds, and baseboards. But despite this, I will be choosing different services if needed in the future and would not recommend this company.

The ceiling fans were still covered in dust, the baseboards were never wiped down, and they mopped the floors without sweeping first, which just spread dirt around. Companies like Molly Maid include oven cleaning for a fraction of the price. After I complained, customer service called me, supposedly to address the issue.
