While working through my immediate grief, I quickly realized that I could not afford to continue to pay the mortgage payments on my salary alone for the home that we had lived in for 24 years, so I hired my best friend's referred realtor, Jen Cox with Compass Realty, to help get the house quickly listed on the market so we could take advantage of the favorable to sellers' housing market due to the national shortage of housing at that time. Jen put me in touch with a wonderful network of professional contacts whom she's been able to count on time and time again and one of the names provided to me was Tyler Stanley with Terminus Moving. Tyler also works as a realtor and his wife, Lauren, and their Moving Manager, Anthony DeStefano, came out to the house on September 12th to assess the size of the move, as I was also having to sell a majority of our furnishings in an estate sale because I didn't know where I'd be moving or how much room I would end up with to accommodate a lifetime of collecting. Lauren and Anthony were kind, caring, empathetic to my forced situation and were extremely professional. Anthony worked up an estimate that he sent out later that same day that was based upon what I was planning to keep, what I was hoping to sell in the estate sale, plus the additional furniture items I was giving back to my husband's family to pass down as their legacy. Although I interviewed a couple of other moving companies, I came back to Terminus Moving time and time again and because of Jen's record of sending me quality professionals to work with, I chose to use Tyler's company as they were hungry for my business and they kept in contact with me throughout the decision process. I had a wonderful experience with Anthony and the moving team and they had me moved in just 1 1/2 days into the beautiful new townhouse that Jen had found for me in East Cobb. Their time management techology was excellent as I would sign the team back in whenever they were finished with lunches or breaks so I knew exactly what I was being charged for and the team did an excellent job, despite dealing with persistent rain on the 2nd day of the move. I'm happy to report that I have not found any damage to my antiques and expensive furniture and I would not hesitate to engage Tyler and his team for any future moving needs that may come up, whether large jobs or small! Tyler himself and his business partner drove the moving trucks, so I felt comfortable with my belongings being transferred safely, and they even participated in the moving process with the rest of the team which was refreshing to see the owners pushing up their sleeves and working side-by-side with their team. Not only did Tyler, Anthony, and team do a wonderful job of correctly placing the labeled boxes into the rooms where they belonged, as I had used a different vendor for the packing process, they worked with me on the pricing and offered me a 10% discount which was extremely helpful as I'm still to this day waiting to receive my husband's life insurance payment and thrift saving plan retirement savings! I also received a very kind note of appreciation from Tyler and his wife, Lauren, along with some premium brownies which was totally unexpected and was a very classy touch to further distinguish them and their company from the rest of the pack in the metro Atlanta area. The manager at the storage unit where they took my things called me and told me they were drunk and broke his main gate because they were so drunk they couldn't find the code. Called how money for each step. Called for packing take, called for boxing items, called constantly instead of reviewing my items and giving me a quote for the job it was a daily harassment for money. I would not recommend them to anyone unless you want broken and damaged items and being harassed daily for money.

My experience was extremely disappointing. During my move, an accent chair that cost $1,874…read moredisappeared and was never delivered to my new home. I reported it to the lead mover the same evening I realized it was missing. He apologized and told me they must have forgotten it somewhere at my apartment complex. When I later obtained the building's surveillance footage, it showed one of the movers carrying my chair after it came off the elevator. The lead mover confirmed the person in the video was one of his employees. Despite this, the chair has never been recovered. I declined the additional valuation coverage because the lead mover assured me I didn't need it and told me they wouldn't damage my furniture during the move. I never imagined I needed coverage for a chair disappearing entirely while it was in the movers' possession. After reviewing the situation, the Operations Manager called me, apologized, and told me he agreed with me that the company was completely in the wrong for what happened. However, Vladimir, who is both the owner and the manager handling claims, has refused to take responsibility for losing my chair and has refused to compensate me for its value beyond offering $36. There were other issues during the move as well. The truck they sent wasn't large enough to complete our move, forcing us to leave boxes, plants, and other belongings behind to move ourselves. In addition, the movers smelled strongly of marijuana after arriving at our new home, which was very concerning. This entire experience has been stressful and incredibly disappointing. Losing an expensive piece of furniture is one thing, but the lack of accountability afterward has been even worse. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to think twice and carefully review the paperwork before trusting them with their belongings.

From the moment they arrived, they got right to work and did not waste a single minute. I was honestly impressed by how quickly they packed/moved everything while still being careful with my furniture & boxes. What could have easily been a long, exhausting day turned into one of the smoothest moves I've ever had. They were respectful, friendly, hardworking, and worked incredibly well as a team. A $120 gesture of "goodwill" isn't reimbursement in full, it's a slap in the face that we refused. Upon arrival, The owners son ( assuming that's who he was) became unhinged when my husband confirmed that we would not have access to our new home for a few days. He wanted to be done in a day or two. Everything was scheduled for a 3 day pack up of the home and a move in on the 4th. The scheduled move with this company reflected our move in date in the documentation. The military was very clear as to how many days is would take and what day we would actually be moved in. After becoming unhinged, the owners son then continued with even more aggressive behavior whilst screaming and cursing and then physically threatening my husband with bodily harm. My husband then ordered them to leave. The owners son proceeded to walk out our door only to kick a package that had been delivered to my son into the middle of our front yard. When we contacted the owner Loretta, She claimed we were lying and that she was going to file charges for cyber bullying because of our emails of inquiry. Her son's behavior became so aggressive and threatening that we had to call the cops and FILE A POLICE REPORT WITH Fulton County Public safety. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. We now have been assigned a wonderful company who will be taking care of our move tomorrow. We had the most pleasant conversation and was reassured we would be very well taken care of. For as many horrible reviews of this company and the same type of incidents, I am thoroughly shocked that this company is still in business. We have also made damn sure that the military and JPPSO have been more than well informed of this business and to sever their ties with them.

Between Cartwright Moving and A-1 Horton out of Atlanta, I've come to the conclusion that I won't receive compensation for the damages one of these companies made to my couch and dining room table. Someone was either smoking near my couch or got it caught on something to where it ripped holes in the sides and bottoms. The edges of my table from Japan were all scraped up and I know they were not stored like that. Both denied culpability when I submitted my claim. Both pointed the fingers at the other, advising me to file with the other company. Pitiful. I hope I won't be forced to use either one of these companies again. The movers came early/on-time and were complete professionals throughout the whole packing process. They were thorough and didn't break or destroy any of my furnishings!

David in the office told me what to expect when I booked and answered all my questions: it all went exactly as he said it would. I paid a simple hourly fee for the labor, and a flat fee for the junk removal of the old units. No hidden costs. Richard was the team lead, and his experience was clear; they arrived on time and they handled the job with speed and assuredness. They quickly took out the old units with a lot of care to my property, then they fully installed the new ones for me. They made all the connections and tested it, so I didn't have to worry. I can't say enough about how well they treated me - they were all true pros every step of the way. AHM handled each detail, and I ALWAYS knew what to expect and what it would cost in time and money. They were transparent with everything and took great care of me. I will happily hire them again whenever I need labor, junk removal, or moving services.

Back Savers showed up with so many movers I almost lost count. 6 or 7 of the most clean cut, uniform wearing gentleman. They got to work right away helping me finish wrapping up odds and ends. I opted to provide the boxes and supplies needed for the move but I noticed that they did have extra supplies to wrap the couches etc. We are having to get the crew to come back out again tomorrow because I needed more storage. If I did have the extra storage space today they could have easily finished up today. These people are serious about getting the job done.
