The standouts were the palak paneer, the lamb vindaloo, and oddly the chicken alfredo. The goat curry was tasty but boney. The dal tacka tasted lovely but was watery. The garlic naan and saffron rice were basic but well done. The two things I would not order again are the samosas and the chicken momos. They laked flavour. We didn't eat inside, but this is definately the place for take out. Service was okay, but they weren't helpful in picking out dishes. If you know what you want I would recommend here. Just personal preference though... The dal was flavourful. Probably my favourite of what we ordered... but I just love lentil curries. They currently have a promotion for a free chai with wrap purchase. The gal behind the counter (Nancy) shared with me that this location opened about 2.5 months ago while the 124th street location has been going strong +2 years now. She was patient and very informative with the menu for recommendations today as well as in the future. I used the washroom while waiting for my to go order and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and spaciousness (as well as handicap accessibility which is a big plus my family). I settled on a palek paneer wrap (spinach cheese) and a tandoori chicken wrap (with delicious potatoes in it!). I sipped on housemade chai while the wraps were prepared. Nancy shared with me that the chai is ground/made in house. I also snuck a peek at their dessert counter which had me drooling and most definitely planning a return visit with the kids! More than the typical Indian fare here - I definitely want to try the hot gulab jamun with ice cream!
