Some ordered items: Steak Pie Haddock and Chips Macaroni Cheese Bake Grilled Chicken I personally had the steak pie, but when everything came out, I wish I ordered everything too. Food presentation was excellent. The steak pie was delicious. The pastry came atop of the pie and remained crunchy and flaky until eating every last bite. Chips were wedge style (maybe hand cut?), perfectly cooked, and hot. From what I could tell, everyone at the table really enjoyed the food. Some people in our group were sad they were full because the wanted to eat the rest of the wonderful food. I also had a slice of the lemon and ginger biscuit cheesecake. Simply delicious and amazing! You can either satff in the main hotel which has some fabulous cosy rooms or you can have your own lodge in the grounds, so fab if you have a family. There is o much to do here, it has a great family pool area but also an adults only spa pool complex to ecape the kids. You can do golf, horse riding shooting pretty much anything you fancy. Theres even a Cinema! Good choice of pubs bars and retaurants on site and so many facilities you cannot get bored, all in lovely ground and gardens. I booked on one of those last minute hotel type ites and only paid £45 for a deluxe double room on a last minute basis. There is as little or as much to do as you would like. Nearby Crieff has traditional shops and restaurants with home made cooking. Plenty of great walks taking it all in. the Loch itself has fish, ducks, geese etc all vying for the bread crumbs that you take with you to feed them with. Anything to help you take awesome photographs tat you can look back on for years to come. The log cabins are tastefully furnished all in natural colours and in keeping with the area. Prices are reasonable and the cabins are spacious going from smaller 3/4 beds up to eight sharing. They have balconiesor verandas and barbecue areas.

Chef was Polish and is certainly going places -- as for VERY reasonable prices we got amazing, beautiful dishes like Beet Root, Parsnip Fritters, Chicken wrapped in Parma Ham, Fish and Chips, Lamb, and the most wonderful Bread and Butter Pudding for desert. Atmosphere was rustic and charming -- sit on the small covered patio for that view.
