This small kiosk inside the Royal Hawaiian Hotel serves coffee and freshly baked pastries. Honestly, if the hotel hadn't given me a voucher for a free loaf of banana bread, I probably would've walked right by it while looking for a standalone coffee shop or bakery -- but I'm glad I didn't. The ladies behind the counter were warm and friendly, and the banana bread was delicious. I wouldn't call it "the best ever," but it was moist, flavorful, and worth coming back for. While I was there, I noticed they offered a variety of other baked goods that all looked tempting. The coffee was a pleasant surprise -- full-flavored without being bitter or burnt (unlike Starbucks, in my opinion). It paired perfectly with the setting. Sitting in the lush, pink courtyard of the Royal Hawaiian, watching the chefs bring out trays of fresh pastries, made the experience even better. This little kiosk turned out to be one of those unexpected finds -- simple, friendly, and genuinely enjoyable.

We were there shortly after 6am and there was already a line! Great spot for coffee and a baked good. A handful of four-top tables and the option to sit in some beautiful chairs overlooking the lawn. I opted for a macadamia nut latte which was delightful. My friend and I each chose a savory and a sweet to split. The ham and cheese croissant was great, cheese was melty and the croissant flaky. The Portuguese sausage croissant was great, the sausage sweet and mild. We were very happy with our savories but didn't love the sweets. The guava cake is gorgeous, a small Bundt that is the hotel's signature pink with a white royal icing glaze. The texture however was unexpected. It was almost as if it granulized on the tongue, the texture mealy. It would probably be better in a cake pop format. Similarly, the chocolate raspberry donut was only made good by the raspberry filling in the center which helped bind the donut itself. Ultimately, the sweets weren't for us, but others may feel differently. I was just happy I had coffee to wash it down. Beautiful venue though and a great spot to stop.

This was located in a kiosk on the black and white checkered lanai of the historic part of the Royal Hawaiian. We weren't staying here, so we had difficulty finding it based on the address alone. I am glad we persisted! We were there on a mission: pink croissants or bust. There weren't any available when we got to the front of the line, so I asked when the next batch might be available. The people working there very kindly asked us to wait to the side, and then when someone from the kitchen wheeled over a cart with fresh trays, they cheered and called us over. It was one example of many of the kind hospitality that we received on our trip, even in a fancy hotel where we weren't staying. Filled with guava (?) jam and custard, somehow not sogging down the perfectly flaky croissant pastry, this was a joy to eat.

Good as far as a stop and go bakery goes. There are a few seats to sit down and enjoy the food. My husband said the croissant was great! I got the guava bunt cake and it has good flavor but was a bit dry, definitely recommend it but with a drink.

We like checking out the different bakeries and this was our first visit to the Royal Hawaiian Bakery. I really wanted to try the Royal croissant but they didn't have any during our visit. Picked up a Ham and cheese croissant and a Portuguese sausage and cheese croissant. They were flaky croissants. We liked them. Enjoyed our goodies while sitting on the rocking chairs just a short distance from the bakery. Beware of the birds! They kept staring at us and then were brave enough to fly at us to try to get at our goodies.

    Pink Snowball which was delicious.

We always stay at the Royal Hawaiian Resort Hotel and love coming down to the bakery. Solid blueberry muffin, banana bread, pink snowball, croissants and coffee. Tip: go early the bakery sells out before noon. Overall delicious. Solid 4/5

Absolutely the best croissant I've ever eaten! We tried several pastries and all of them were excellent! The stand outs by far were the ham and cheese and the royal croissant. The coffee is also very good. We were surprised by how affordable everything was. Service is excellent!

While it's open until 12pm technically, please be there by 8am if you want to get specific pastry items for sure. Getting a couple of freshly baked goods along with a cup of coffee or Latte, then sitting at one of those tables and looking at the garden was actually nice and relaxing - more peaceful than getting breakfast surrounded by crowds at Surf Lanai restaurant... ;)

Cute little bakery kiosk in the lobby of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. Love all the pink decor and the wall of merch. The line moved quickly and the service was friendly and quick. I needed a refreshing cold drink after a long hike and the Pink Fizz is exactly what I needed. It definitely quenched my thirst.

Situated on the veranda in the lobby of the Royal Hawaiian Resort is the Bakery. Open from 6am to noon, you'll find very friendly service staff, rich coffee and very cool looking fresh baked goods. As a hotel guest you receive a complimentary voucher for free banana bread. As it turns out, you actually receive a small branded pink Royal Hawaiian bag with 3 fresh muffins! Great marketing idea, explains the line ups.... We had coffee there a few times, enjoying the striped croissants, muffins and sweet treats. There is a substantial condiment center with everything you need. Prices are on par with other coffee shops close by. Service staff keep the tables clean and tidy. Aside from the wait, this is a great place to sit and enjoy the tropical ambiance of the pink palace.

A must stop whether you are staying at the Royal Hawaiian or not! Tip - when you check into the Royal Hawaiian you get a ticket for the bakery and it is for complimentary banana bread muffins. Be sure to make the time to redeem this! The line can be long but it moves decently fast and it gives you plenty of time to figure out what you want to order. Good amount of seating as well to enjoy your goodies. The staff are awesome! They have aloha spirit and the one staff was speaking both English and Japanese. Treat wise, their pink snowballs are gorgeous and worth the hype. Good size and light and fluffy. My go-to breakfast item was the ham and cheese croissant. My only compliant was the tiny size that was cut for the pineapple turnover. The turnover itself was delicious but the portion was very small. Drink wise - the Royal Hawaiian latte was delicious and my go to! Be sure to get here early enough, so you get what you want pastry wise!

Croissant is wonderful with good amount of fluff and crunch. Latte is average. After you get the pastry, consume it and walk around the garden is best.

4.5 stars, but since we can't give half stars, boosting to 5 because 4 stars don't do justice to the Royal Hawaiian Bakery. After booking our lodging at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel for our August/September, 2023 Oahu trip, I immediately added the Royal Hawaiian Bakery to my list of eatery destinations. A pleasant surprise at check-in - we were given a card for redeeming "A SPECIAL AMENITY AT THE ROYAL HAWAIIAN BAKERY." Why, thank you, don't mind if we do. Located at the Coconut Grove on the first floor of the hotel's Historic Wing, the Royal Hawaiian Bakery offers counter service and covered seating with an open view of the beautiful garden. With black and white tiling and hues of pink popping through, the bake shop is cute in décor. The lush scenery serves as a serene and relaxing paradise to soak in while starting your day off with a cup of joe and pastry. During our visits, the space appeared well kept, clean, and tidy. Below are some of the items that we enjoyed: Banana Nut Muffins - We received a complimentary bag of these moist and tasty goodies for our welcome gift. Yum! Iced ROYAL HAWAIIAN LATTE with OAT MILK - I fell in love with this espresso drink at first sip. The COCONUT & MACADAMIA NUT flavours were perfectly balanced with the java taste. One of the best coffees I have had on Oahu. Ham & Cheese Croissant - I was a bit disappointed by this savoury pastry because it was on the dry side. It was a generous size, though. double CAPPUCCINO - Despite the heat, this was David's regular order, hot. He said that it was standard in quality and taste. Blueberry Muffin - Good. Service was consistently friendly and quick. During our stay at the hotel, the bakery did not accept cash; credit cards or charges to rooms were accepted forms of payment. Worked for us because we never carry cash. Charging to our room was very convenient. Their hours of operation were also only from 6 AM to 12 noon. Staying at the Pink Palace, the Royal Hawaiian Bakery was just a stumble or quick elevator ride down from our room. For lodging guests, it's a must to stop by and check out; their signature ROYAL HAWAIIAN LATTE + Banana Nut Muffins + picturesque setting = aloha bliss.

We took the opportunity to stop by for a pre-dinner snack since they closed at 6PM. It's a cute shop with multiple sweets including quite a selection of housemade ice cream and delectable mouthfuls called Cake Bombs (Photo 10). We decided we would be good and ordered one unfilled Malasada each. Dusted with various sugar flavors, they were just $2.65 a piece. That wasn't necessarily a bad thing since we had dinner ahead of us.
