This company lost our records during the buy over. Has been to our house three times in the past two years for over 2000 in fees, and then two weeks ago charged us a service fee for 250 to reset a pump, something we could've done on our own. Then today our septic is still not working, reset the pump, but not draining leading us to believe the pump failure last time was due to a clogged pipe. Royal Flush, under the old ownership, had replaced the drain field when we purchased our home over 20 years ago. They put it in the lowest point of the property, but The County approved, so as a first time home buyer, I didn't know any different. Well not surprisingly, it has never worked right. Heavy rains meant slow toilets, no laundry and a swamp in our backyard. Replacement has always been on my list, and this was the year to do it. I contacted several contractors in the area, and Royal Flush was not my first choice going in due to my prior experience. After having the typical no call backs, and a "frankly" shocking interaction with other contractors, Royal Flush won my business. They showed up as promised, worked hard to put things back together and finished on time. Now that I have been able to see what happens with our typical winter weather, the new field is already paying for itself. We had Royal Flush come out 2X within 1 month because they pumped the tank (every 5 year service), & the 2nd time, they replaced the baffle. Extremely honest, fast to get to the job, completely reliable. I would use them in the future, & I may say that their female office person the 1st time I had to call, was utterly very, very kind & professional. These guys were the only ones available for a last minute weekend drain clean out at our rental property so we went with them instead of Roter-Rooter. This is the last time we will call them, we were charged $650 for them to snake two drains. They claimed they used a camera to inspect the lines (promised pictures they never delivered) and then ultimately snaked the main line to clear the block. The worst part is they said they won't guarantee their work, so if the drain clogs again they won't service it again for free (compared to Roter-Rooter who guarantees for 6 months). The employee that did the work was kind and knowledgeable, but the price and office staff will prevent us from calling them again. read more

We started the process of having a new septic tank installed we decided to use royal flush because they have always been awesome with pumping our tank if you want them to do more than that they are unreliable. We needed a new tank so we decided to go with royal flush they started the permit process and dug huge holes in my yard for the soil samples it has been over a week and I have called them 3 separate times to come and fill in the holes with no response. The receptionist are rude also. Don't recommend this company at all. read more

Jeff Bowers gave us a unwritten estimate and then over charged us $5,000 with a job 3/4 of the way done and then decided to quit us. Where did all our money go? We have no clue because he won't give us a list of things to where our money went. He told the county that our old septic system was demolished even though they had done nothing with it. Now we are left to find a new company, apply for permits, etc. To finish his horrible job. Whatever you do, make sure you are getting a written estimate and agreement from this company or they will screw you over!!! read more

This is one of the best septic companies out there. They don't over charge like other companies out there. They can also do site work. I had them replace my culvert recently and they did an awesome job. They also recently installed a new septic system and did some site work at my in laws. They did a fantastic job. I find it funny that the other review was complaining they were an hour late. It's the service industry and it's hard to tell exactly when you will finish the previous job to give an exact time for the next. They even tell you it's approximate and that it could be longer. Also it's hard finding old septic systems using a probe. They are good at it but it does not always work. That's when they bring in the camera scope. All this happened at my in laws and it just part of the process. They were always professional and easy to work with. read more

Washing machine wasn't draining right and flooded the garage. Tony and Steven came out from Royal Flush and they were GREAT! Got the tank drained and unclogged the baffle and now it works great. Bonus points for being on time, and approaching their job with a smile. Also gave us some treatment samples to help build good bacteria in the tank. Can't thank them enough! read more

Horrible customer service! I am very disappointed in the service we received. We called Royal flush on Sunday for an emergent issue. Our 8:00am appt turned into a 10:45 arrival time. The man could not find the septic tank, he left and then sent another guy out the next day!! He was supposed to be here at 11:30 and arrived at 12:30... After that man found the tank, he left a big hole (and the previous two holes from the other guy) and left for the day. The guys came back the next day (Now it's Tuesday!) With no appt, just showed up.. spoke to my babysitter and never called my husband or I to tell us what they had done. I guess they expected my babysitter to relay the information. So, we were charged for a "weekend" service, which did not happen. A charge to have a guy come locate. (I told him where it was after calling the old owner) And left a huge mess. Very disappointed! I have had a great experience with Royal Flush. They pumped our tank last year and charged me exactly what they said. They actually were cheaper than other companies. Then I needed an inspection and they came out and inspected it. On time and exactly what they quoted. Since it had been recently pumped he did not try to charge me to pump it again. Very honest! BUYER BEWARE OF THIS CONTRACTOR. We are building a house and needed a special ATT septic system to be put in as we have a lot of clay soil on the property. We gave all the information to the contractor including the permit that shows we needed to have "DEQ approved 1500-gallon two compartment septic tank, pump to Orenco AX20, then to 150-feet drainfield (12-15 inch depth) with cap, and 36-in deep curtain drain." Jeff (the owner of Royal Flush) had all that information when he gave us his bid on June 12, 2018. Today Sept 20th, I get a call from him that he will need an additional $5500 for the cap and fill for the drain field. To my knowledge, this contractor knew what he was doing, as he said to me he has been doing this work "for many years." But he "overlooked" (his words) that part of the permit. All contractors that do septic systems of this type should know all that it entails. We had planned on having this company do the septic all summer long. He was supposed to have it done on Sept 17th, as this was the time he said he could do it. Our permit is to expire on Sept 26th; and now at this late date we are not able to find another contractor in time to get it done. We are having to pay an additional $300 to extend the permit. Beware that if you do choose to get a bid from this man, please make sure you both go over the permit together so there is no "misunderstanding" (again his words). He sent me a text in regards to my deposit of $5000 saying he will "get that check out right away." We shall see if he holds true to his word. read more

I am very dissatisfied with their service. I couldn't even talk to someone on the phone until hours after I needed service, they couldn't answer any of my questions when I finally DID get someone on the phone, and all they wanted to do was up-charge me for every little thing to do with my septic, most of which was completely unnecessary. They seem like a greedy, dishonest company based on my experience with them, throwing other septic companies "under the bus" so to speak when I talked of taking my business elsewhere. HONEST companies don't get ahead by talking badly about other companies (especially when their opinion isn't asked for) or trying to charge me for useless things just to tack on extra bills. It's not the first bad experience I've heard of with Royal Flush and it will most definitely be the LAST TIME I use them or recommend them to my loved ones.
