WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER BEEN THROUGH! DO NOT RECOMMEND. We ran into a number of issues with…read morethis company. 1. They were late 2. The head installer arrived late after the team, walked in, looked at my boyfriend (the home owner) and walked right past and then asked who the homeowner was, which was rude. 3. We were told not all the rooms were going to be finished because the head installer has to leave early so he can play in his band that night.. IM SORRY WHAT? 4. They completely forgot part of our order, the LVP we ordered as well was never written down and the installers had no idea about it. I called the owner Ed and he says he did not write anything down on our file about an LVP (after my boyfriend and I went to the store and picked it out the same appointment where we picked the carpet). 5. Ed then said he found the file in his truck. Told me he would get back to me about where that is and when that could happen.. HE NEVER GOT BACK TO ME. 6. The installers did not clean ANYTHING up. The carpets had loose carpet thread debris all over it, they left a pile of scraps in the bedroom, our floors were littered with carpet threads. WE had to clean up THEIR mess. We were told someone could come the next morning to clean (because the guy Yogi had a show to play that night and couldn't come back to clean).. No, we needed it done then so we could move our furniture back. 7.They did not cut out the carpet for one of our bedroom ac vents correctly, I had to go back and cut the carpet so the ac vent would lay properly. 8.They were rough with our furniture when moving, I had to walk back and ask them to be more careful and watch them move the rest of the furniture. 9. The installers ate some of our halloween candy, (which is fine), BUT NOT when you leave the wrappers on OUR floor for US to clean up, and let's not forget their empty water bottles. 10. Head installer Yogi was rude, showed no manners or professionalism and rushed to leave without cleaning up so he could go to his show later that night. I asked him if he would like a drink.. he replied "um yeah water" like I was dumb for not knowing that... THEN when I went to hand him his water he replied "just put it over there". NO thank you, no manners. 11. Spoke with Ed about all problems and he took $50 off our final price.... which in my opinion is nothing compared to the inconvenience we went through. He seemed apologetic at first, but showed his unprofessionalism as well. 12. That all was last week, fast forward to yesterday, I texted Ed about the update on our LVP, he never got back to me. I texted him today, and he called me saying he will not do our LVP until we pay him for carpet. I explained how we don't want to pay for everything until our whole order is finished (LVP and instillation). He threatened to take me to court, put a forbidence on our house and started MOCKING me. A grown man mocked me lol, what professional person does that? He also told me he has no reason to talk to me and does not want to talk to me anymore.... He has still YET to schedule the LVP installation. 13. The estimate we got was completely wrong and charged us for more work than they had to do. That people got fixed. 14. We were told the secretary would contact us for the date of installment & we had to track her down. This company had great reviews and we were REALLY let down with the experience we had with them. They were also booked to do our hardwood, NOW we are going someplace else. WE WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! If I could rate 0 stars I would. They did a good job installing the carpet,(minus the vent issue) however, the installers and Ed were so unprofessional and we ran into more problems than we could have imagined. Never again!

Outstanding Experience with Artistic Flooring!…read more Artistic Flooring did a fantastic job from start to finish. Billy, the owner, runs a true turnkey operation -- from product selection and demo/disposal to prep, installation, and final finishing, everything was handled seamlessly. Unlike other companies where you buy materials and then have to find your own installers, Artistic manages the entire process with zero finger-pointing. The installation crew was exceptional. Caleb led the team with Anthony, Xavier, and Tanner -- all prompt, professional, and courteous. Their attention to detail was remarkable; you'd think they were working on their own homes. My project was more complex than most, with laminate plank flooring installed on a diagonal, requiring countless precision cuts and careful layout. They handled it flawlessly. When we discovered some damaged plywood under the old flooring from a previous window leak, Caleb and Anthony replaced the subfloor quickly and professionally, keeping the schedule right on track. Everything -- from moving and resetting furniture and appliances to reinstalling toilets, painting, and caulking the white quarter round -- was done with care and craftsmanship. If you want a flooring company that delivers quality, professionalism, and true accountability, Artistic Flooring is the one to choose. Billy and his team are as good as it gets!

Breathtakingly beautiful floors are what Artistic Flooring brings into a home. Words are not enough…read moreto express my satisfaction with Artistic Flooring. If floors were music, Artistic Flooring is a symphony composer. Billy, the owner: From day one, Billy always showed that he was an expert in his field, which made me confident in the company's ability to help me (after a prior contractor had significantly marred my floors). Whenever there is significant project in a home, it is an incredibly stressful and nerve-wracking, and, after a bad experience, hard to trust. Billy's calm and confident demeanor really reassured me that I, and my house, would survive the disaster in my home and everything would be better than new by the end of Artistic Flooring's project. I had no idea how truly exceptional and stunning the floors would become with Artistic Flooring. Chris, the Refinishing Guru: Chris is a phenomenal craftsman, effectively a master artisan, when it comes to hardwood floors. Chris is not only exceptionally skilled but also possesses an intuitive, zen-like, understanding of wood. His attention to detail was incomparable and resulted in table top smooth floors. In fact, I ran a silk scarf across the floors throughout my house with not a single snag - and this was BEFORE staining and finishing. During the process, Chris was always looking for ways to better enhance the final product. When I was having difficulty deciding between two stains, Chris applied them in multiple rooms and encouraged me to view them at different times of the day. After taking the time to listen to my thoughts the next day, he suggested two coats of stain to obtain the depth I was looking for (something other contractors will not do). The end result was breathtakingly beautiful floors. Deanna, the project manager: Deanna demonstrated a deep, thorough understanding of the entire refinishing process as well as flooring and stain options. Deanna took well over an hour to not only patiently help this poor novice comprehend the hardwood flooring process but also to understand my household and what my needs and preferences were. Deanna was adept at managing the entire refinishing process, always friendly, while consistently following up and staying on top of the myriad of details. I can see why Deanna was a recipient of the Top 40 under 40 Award by Hardwood Floors Magazine in 2023.

Very promising beginning. Sales people do their job well. We had good recommendations and price…read morenegotiations. the problem came when it was time to do the install. It was not Floor Trader who showed up. They subcontracted us to someone else, who I was unable to communicate with due to a language barrier. I don't care where people are born, okay, but I would like to be able to communicate with people who are working in my home so that if there is an issue we can both understand what is happening! One of the gentleman spoke spotty English (certainly better than my Spanish, which is nil.) so we were able to work through the fact Floor Trader did not tell him that furniture movement was necessary, or that he would have to cut around the cabinets because the current floor extended underneath them. Or that there was damage to be fixed to the subfloor in the kitchen where tile removal had unlevelled the area. If I had been able to speak to them however, I would have also expressed the fact that there are soft spots in the new floor. Places that bow when I walk on them. In less than a month, the quarter round came off in once place where they had brad nailed into thin air, and a few months later the entire piece under the front door came loose. Where it is still attached it is hideous because the caulking job done between it and the baseboard looks like a child smeared sugar cake icing and let it dry - thick, jagged lines. Why didn't I take these complaints to Floor Trader directly you ask? #1, because I was 8 months pregnant and TIRED. But #2, because, ONCE THEY HAD MY MONEY THEY NEVER REACHED OUT TO ME AGAIN. Not to confirm that someone showed up to do the work. Not to confirm that the work was done. Not to ask about progress, and certainly never to do a "how did it go?" questionnaire. Not once. No Email. No Text. No Call. Probably the only reason they knew the install was happening was because the men on site kept having to call their own boss who would call Floor Trader to confirm things they should have already been told (like the furniture removal requirement). The guys were amazingly silent though. No stereo, no phone calls, no earbuds. And it was HOT but they never complained. I offered to set up a fan for them, but they declined. I think maybe it would have blown around too much dust? Oh, and we are missing the threshold we paid for. It's not one I cared about as it was leading into a closet, but the point is it was on the schematic. Anyway, would not recommend.
