Very short and not courteous. From the wait staff to the man at the checkout . The manager walked around several times and never came to table to ask how our meal was. I even walked by him to check out and he never looked up or spoke sad! Flounder was good and large. They announced over the loudspeaker out of baked potato and ran out of the daily special. The fried shrimp was barely warm, greasy as were the hush puppies. Scallops were a joke barely noticeable meat all breading!

So I thought since I was in the mood for a good burger, I would give it another try. The burger was tasteless. Even with a variety of condiments it didn't help. The roll was far from fresh making it hard to pick up the burger. Since it crumbled so bad, it had to be eaten with a fork. The top layer of the fries (maybe 6 fries) were gold and a decent size. The rest of the fries were brown, almost burnt and small fragments not even resembling fries. The two men cooking were friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean. The tv's were silent with sports.

I noticed they weren't very busy for a Saturday early evening. I've ran several restaurants as a GM, and I hate to see restaurants struggle. Collards were great, barbecue was good. Fries were nothing special -- a little soggy. They have tons of sides including some rotating ones. I should have chosen something different. Makayla informed me that Miranda isn't the only person "out," which may explain why the turnover rate seems high. Recently, I've observed a decline in the care taken when preparing food and in customer service. Like any paying customer, I expect fresh, hot food. Instead, I've been served refried chicken and bacon, which is unacceptable. Chicken pastry should include chicken, but when I brought this up, I was told that the cook had always made it that way and wouldn't change it.
