For those who know me, know my OCD is off the hook. It's very rare that I trust someone to do the…read moredishes for me let alone permanently tattoo something on my face for the world to see. LaToya totally eased all my anxiety and OCD-related worries about getting permanent brows done by fully including me in the process. Without even knowing about my anxiety and my OCD brain, the first thing she did was hand me a mirror and said, "Hold that mirror the whole time because you will be consulted about everything I do every step of the way." This immediately eased my mind. During the mapping process, LaTota asked all of the right questions such as "Do you like your eyebrows thick or thin?" "Do you like more of an arch or less of an arch" "Do you like the tail more or less tapered?" I showed her some of my own pictures where I liked the way my brows looked and she completely recreated the way I do my brows by just some of those simple questions. She used her expertise to map out the perfect shape of my eyebrows and opened it up for suggestions on how I may have wanted them to be adjusted. With no hesitation, she made the adjustments I requested (and even went back and fixed some of the less favorable adjustments I asked for. Lol). I do have to add that I have a complicated eye brow piercing and she actually tattooed it exactly the way I usually do my brows just by my feedback. LaToya has the patience of a saint and the best vibes ever!!! Throughout the tattooing phase, she gave me some colors to choose from and let me test each color on my skin. The one she suggested based off of her professional expertise was actually the one I loved the most. She checked for comfort throughout the tattooing, I didn't need any breaks because #1 she did a good job with the numbing cream, #2 I'm used to tattoos, and #3 after each pass through of darkening the eyebrows, she had me check in the mirror to make sure I was happy with the result. In the end, LaToya made sure to give extra special notice to touching up anything she felt necessary and provided everything I needed to leave comfortably. Her attention to detail, expertise, professionalism, warm and welcoming demeanor, and positive and inclusive vibe was much more than I could have ever asked for in a Master Paramedical Tattoo Artist. I can't wait to see her and work with her again at my follow up!!! The best part about all this, I'M SO HAPPY THAT I DON'T HAVE TO DO MY BROWS EVERYDAY AND THAT I DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT SWEATING/RANDOMLY WIPING THEM OFF ANYMORE!!! P.S. My mom loved my brows so much that she has booked her appointment too!!!

She was very kind and walked me through exactly what would happen and how many sessions it may take to hide this scar that I have hated for years. It is such a personal thing I would not have felt comfortable talking to just anyone but her tone, and lack of judgement was just great. That alone would make me want to recommend her over and over again. The results are amazing. I now feel much more confident and the scars are no longer visible thanks to her! Pricing is reasonable and I am looking forward to going back for my brows! :)

I love this place! I found her shop by first testing out with a Groupon…read more Pros: 1) Her pricing is very competitive. Even without a Groupon 2) Nice music selection as you lay back and get "beautified" 3) Good atmosphere 4) Candy as you wait for your appointment or as you leave 5) I get more of a natural lash look so the service only takes about 30 minutes...not sure if you go for a fuller look or add one of her many other services like waxing or a facial, how much longer that would take. I plan on getting a facial soon so I can update my post at that time. Cons: 1) parking can be some what a hit or miss as it is across the way from a popular ice cream shop snd next door to a beer cafe. Ive only had to park across the street in the neighborhood or around the corner two times and Ive been going to her for over 3 month so not too bad 2) There was a stinging sensation my second or third visit, I simply let Brittany know and she had no problem adjusting my eye pads ( she uses soft gel pads on your eyes before she tapes!! Love that)...anyhow once she adjusted the padding and tape no more burning. Just speak up, she is happy to accommodate.

I won't even start with how picky I am with brows. My brows are everything. They have the power to make or break my mood sometimes! I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. As I get to the building I find no suite number or name so I asked this lady in another suite if she knew where suite 152 was and she said "yes next door but it's empty" just then the lady I was to meet came out (that was a red flag for her neighbor to not know she was in business next door) but I went in anyways and she locked the door behind me which then made me very uncomfortable. I said your company name is not on the door and she said nothing. I said do you have pictures and she showed me a couple from her phone and said she had been doing this for 2 years when I asked. I said why no reviews she said she was from Sweden and was getting started here, I said am I your first? she said no not at all I've done many. She immediately wanted to numb my eyebrows with out explaining anything or even outlining my brows to show me what they would look like first. Also, she never advised me of what I shouldn't do 24 hours prior to the service, like no alcohol, no aspirin, or no caffeine day of, etc. I told her I was nervous and left. Then I found Karen on Yelp and I'm so glad I did. I love my eyebrows they came out great!! I couldn't be happier. Thanks Karen for such a awesome job and for making me feel comfortable and very satisfied!! See you in six weeks for my touch up.
