Baltimore's famous... "4 wings and fries" no salt and pepper but add that ketchup baby!
    Jada C.

Convenient quick and courteous! Not in the safest neck of the woods, but not the worse either. The location for this food establishment is one of those where you walk in, mind your business, get your food and leave out respectively. My son stated he wanted a real chicken box and that's what I gave him. I'm glad we chose this place, and I'd do it again! And of course, I found it on good old Yelp! Haha The owners here were very very nice to us, they take credit cards if you spend $6 or more and the food was delicious! We ordered four wings and fries and a beverage. Spent under $10! That's what I'm talking about! If in the area, stop pass! This establishment is in a shopping center with ample parking!

One of the best carryout spots for chicken boxes on the West side of town. Never disappoints. The half and half is also bomb!

    Their battered crabsticks and shrimp.

One of my favorite carry-outs in the West Baltimore area. I used to eat Chicken and their chicken boxes are pretty solid as long as they're fresh. Lately I only go for crabsticks and fries. They're imitation crabsticks battered to perfection and fried. 3 crabsticks, fries, and a medium half-and-half is $7.00. I'll always go back. The only reason I have 4 stars today is because I called ahead and still had to wait.

Boss steaks a sub division of Homemaid, is a pop up food shop and I think you can only find it on IG via @bosssteaks. I beg you, don't miss this. Food: filet mignon truffle cheese (American) Where do I start? First bite I said to myself, "Jesus". Although videos were posted on IG, the the videos did this master piece no justice. None. A cheese steak is not just a cheesesteak after this experience. If you know anything about good steak, you know that filet mignon is one of the most tender cuts of steak. Some might say this cut of steak is not fit to place in a cheesesteak. Let me tell you that this cheese steak will change your life. I'm sorry let me get to it; the meat was so tender and Although it was not it cut up into little pieces like the typical steak sub there was very little chewing involved. It literally melted in your mouth. This cheese steak is accompanied with your choice of provolone or American truffle cheese. You can also get the tri-colored peppers and mushrooms. I don't want to drag this out but I'm trying to explain to y'all that this was a life changing experience. I was willing to travel to Philly for a truffle cheesesteak that costs 120$. So at a bargain this lovely steak cost 40$. There is also a rib eye version that costs 35$. Additionally, you can also get a ribeye/mignon combo which costs 40$ as well. Complements of the chef: the cool thing is the cheese steak came with steak fries and and half and half(lemonade and ice tea). And both were amazing . The half and half was so good. I was like it was perfectly blended in a science lab to have just the right amount of each taste. The Parmesan steak fries were hearty and filling. Conclusion: I'm going to be honest it was too much for me to eat the entire meal in one setting. So if you have to re-heat I would use an oven. It was completely worth it and I will have this again. I don't think I can go back to regular cheese steaks now. This was high-end restaurant quality steak sub at a fraction of the price. Bonus: so I also had a vegan powered doughnut. Get this, this spot also has a doughnut shop called cloudy doughnut (on iG) this has that funnel cake appeal. Super light and just enough sweetness. They actually have a wide arrangement of doughnuts to choose from but they sell out quick.

I had ordered ahead via Toast, grabbing a cheesesteak on a seeded roll with extra meat, onions and a light spread of mayo--assuming the seeded roll would be very crusty & rigid and need the spread to moisten it a bit. I was wrong! The roll housing the fillings was perfectly soft and able to contain all of the meat juices and cheese throughout the sandwich. I got a 9" small with extra meat assuming that's how they're presented on their social media page, and it's more than enough for one person. I'd recommend NOT getting extra meat unless you're coming with a huge appetite! I've never had a proper cheesesteak in my life until today. Truly deserving of the awards they've received. Will be back whenever in the area as a treat; gotta walk this current one off by the waterfront lol Thank you all at Frank's Pizza & Pasta for a great first experience!

I ordered the small cheesesteak, and even though the initial hype has died down a bit, it's still pretty popular because there was still a bit of a wait after ordering. The sub was a nice size, so I have no complaints about the portion. However, I felt like it was missing something when it came to flavor. It wasn't bad, but it just didn't have that extra seasoning or taste I was expecting. For $18 for a small cheesesteak, I was hoping to be wowed but it was just ok. Overall, it's worth trying if you're curious. I look forward to going back and trying their pizza and other menu items.

There's no flash. There are no gimmicks. It's a local bar to go grab a drink and you're not in the mood for the trendy packed spots. It's very unassuming and great neutral space. Anyone can show up, any time. Everyone's welcomed. You can have a good convo w/o having to scream thru it. MASSIVE PLUS *smile*!!! From a musical perspective, all sorts of genres pump thru the system and the ability to make selections is much better than other bars, which is great. It's even better when your selections are getting other people to enjoy the music and their time there, as well. Always a crowd pleaser. Aside from a fully stocked bar, there's a great beer selection. I happen to LOVE ciders and there's always an excellent choice available. The bartenders are always welcoming and accommodating. People come to unwind and have a good time w/o any pretense. I really enjoy the Tavern for that reason.
