On the day of installation, he spent another twenty minutes or so showing me every step before starting. He answered all of my questions in detail and never once seemed put out. I received three other quotes from large plumbing contractors prior to going with Jay. In every case I spoke to a customer service agent who gave me line pricing and read off a prompt. They all had the same disclaimer that pricing may change at the time of installation. That's typical, but the point is none of them gave me the attention and were able to answer my initial questions without sending a technician to my house. Who wants to hassle with multiple appointments. Anyway, Jay was competitive with the other quotes (toward to higher end), but his thoroughness was well worth a few hundred dollars when you are doing such an involved job. I recently received a water bill that was 4x the prior month, with not add'l water usage. I called CPS and the very next day they sent Luke and Jared out to test for leaks. The guys could have jumped straight into a more expense test with the main box, but instead they were methodically, went water device by water device (ie, sinks, faucets, washing machine, each toilet to see if any of those were leaking - also finding the fittings to my toilets were original to the 1983 house (which I had them replace - for a reasonable price). The last test proved (we hope - haven't' received a bill yet) was a leaky toilet. Yet they went ahead and then tested the main controller, first the house then the irrigation system. Fortunately, no pressure change - so all was good (whew!). Best of all Luke explained all the way through what he was doing and spoke in a way I could understand what he was doing. The plumber replace the line too ( not necessary) and was there 30 minutes and my bill was 400. The toilet now flushes very loudly. I understand we all need to make money but I feel as though I was taken advantage of. This should have been a less than 200 job. Another plumber same company came out to check his work because it flushes so loud now it's actually worse than the initial problem. For 400 I should be happy and I'm not. I will not use them again. Very disappointed. I do want to say that Eugene is my favorite plumber, but he is not the one that did the work. I was definitely overcharged for the work that was done.

When I initially…read morecalled his office, his receptionist was courteous and professional, Michael called me shortly thereafter and I apprised him of several plumbing issues, one of which involved two faucet handles that had a measure of corrosion. He quickly suggested I contact the manufacturer and take advantage of their lifetime warranty. I did and they agreed to send me replacement handles. That was an immediate cost saving measure. When Michael came to my home the next day, he proceeded to unclog three sinks, and improve the water flow in the three connected faucets. He also conveyed some valuable household plumbing information that should prove beneficial going forward. All of these services were provided at a reasonable price.
