They all said the transmission is shot and need to junk the van otherwise it would be a very expensive $ 5-7000 repair. I then asked Murphy's garage ( who is the best mechanic in Morristown), and he said every mechanic takes their transmission work to Joe at Madison Transmission. He solve the issue and I walked out with a $200 charge. The van has been running great ever since. Mike Watson

This is a review for both Trend Motors Used Cars as well as Trend Motors Volkswagen, as we dealt…read morewith both entities extensively for our used car purchase and resulting service. My wife and I purchased a 2013 Audi A4 allroad from Matt in early August 2021. Before signing on the dotted line above the disclaimer "vehicle sold as-is", I asked specifically what would happen if the car blew up a week into ownership. Matt said, "if something like that happens, bring it back to us, we'll figure it out together." Well, a week later the car blew up (this is an exaggeration -- an injector failed open and the car broke down), I brought it back to them as requested and, as promised, they took great care of my wife and I. Salespeople sometimes can and will say whatever they can to move product, but Matt and John (service manager) and the rest of the team at Trend Motors followed through on what they said they'd do both before and after the sale. We can't recommend them highly enough. Now that we have first-hand experience with their high level of integrity and the level of service they offered us, we will definitely be coming back to Trend Motors for all future purchases.

You drive your car to the back of the shop where there are 2 lanes. A mechanic will tell you which lane to go to and will ask you a series of questions. There is a car scent (choose a scent from lemon, vanilla, clean car, or baby powder), vacuum, windshield wash, and 14-point check included for no extra charge! I sat in the waiting room for maybe 10 minutes before my name was called saying they were done! Very impressed with how quickly they were able to complete everything and my car feels and smells good as new! The staff were extremely professional and did not recommend unnecessary extras. Will definitely be back!

After spending time looking for a used car at different dealerships, my wife found Colonial Motors…read more We're very glad she did! While the choices were slim elsewhere, Colonial had multiple cars to choose from. The manager, Jack, was a pleasure to work with. When we did select a car, he was very accommodating letting us take it locally to have it checked out, even offering to have someone take it there. After passing the inspection, the purchase process was very easy. Jack told us that if there were issues afterward, he'd take care of them. True to his word, when we did have a few minor problems, he took care of them at no cost to us. Buying a used car is always such a tedious process. Working with Jack at Colonial made it much better!
