The best service and quickest oil change I've ever had! I usually dread going to get my oil changed. I was in town visiting family and needed to get an oil change prior to a long car trip. You drive your car to the back of the shop where there are 2 lanes. A mechanic will tell you which lane to go to and will ask you a series of questions. There is a car scent (choose a scent from lemon, vanilla, clean car, or baby powder), vacuum, windshield wash, and 14-point check included for no extra charge! I sat in the waiting room for maybe 10 minutes before my name was called saying they were done! Very impressed with how quickly they were able to complete everything and my car feels and smells good as new! The staff were extremely professional and did not recommend unnecessary extras. I've been going there almost every month since I drive rideshare and other aps in between programming jobs. I went in last Friday for an oil change and they said I was due to flush the coolant. They flushed it last month. Monday I took my car to the local mechanic because it was making a noise. Apparently I had run out of steering fluid. When I popped more caps I found I was also out of wiper fluid and coolant overflow. So I have to wonder if they ever check or fill fluids or wait until someones steering goes on the highway. They advertise to check all fluids but it's apparently too much trouble. So I called about the power steering fluid running out and they put me on hold for so long I hung up. The owner called back with excuses and apologies but claimed he had to check to see if he could refund it. With who, he's the owner? He said he would call me back and never did. Yes, they are fast and convenient. If you don't mind checking all the fluids yourself since they apparently don't. It is obvious they didn't even check it last month much less this. Have they been checking break fluid or transmission fluid or just changing the oil and trying to sell wipers? Considering the power steering, coolant runoff and wiper fluid were all empty after taking it to them almost every month are they ALL mysteriously leaking? Wiper fluid is one thing. Power steering fluid not being checked could be fatal. Lose my trust and you lose my business. read more

Unfortunately the service here has declined tremendously. Reduced customer service prevails under the umbrella of "due to COVID" excuse. Not sure why a complimentary vacuum has been suspended and how this keeps people safe when everyone is wearing gloves and masks? The mechanic found it safe to get in and drive my vehicle out of the bay??? In addition, the workers who share the adjoining tire business in the same storefront space, make it undesirable to sit in the lobby. The music is loud, the mechanics openly burp in the presence of customers, use profanity, make phone calls on speaker, and generally make the storefront one to avoid. It's a shame. Thought this place was good. got 2 front tires from them. one of them popped a few months later. brought the car to a different shop and they said that I was sold really cheap tires and I should replace them both or the other is going to blow soon. Wasted money and a day off work. Not happy! read more

I used to bring my car here years ago prior to moving out of state. Recently, on a trip back to the state I stopped in to have some service done. I knew I needed my 4wheel drive system serviced. They completed the work quickly and for a much better price than the place I normally go in my home state. Mike was awesome. He remembered me from years ago. We had a good conversation. He even informed me my service gets updated in Carfax, which I thought was an awesome benefit. It was a great experience. Very fast, friendly, and courteous. They had me in and out in about fifteen minutes, provided a free quick car vacuum, and even fixed a small item under my car that was broken free of charge. I've had my oil changed here the last four times it had to be done and all was well. This last time it was overdue and I realized I had only one day to have it changed before I needed to drive my car for an extended period of time/distance. I rushed to Express Lube to make their 1:45pm cutoff time on Sunday and got there at 1:47pm. The young boys there running the shop (no manager present) refused to take my car because they would run about 5 minutes past their closing time of 2:00pm. I explained my situation to the young man and he curtly said, "No." So now they've completely lost my business. I recommend going to Jiffy Lube down Rt. 10 in Morris Plains; adults work there. read more

I've been getting my oil changed here for years. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. They are hardworking and will get you in and out in no time - all while providing top notch service. They even vacuum and "car scent" the vehicle. You typically don't get this type of service anywhere but your local mom & pop shops. The staff truly goes above and beyond for their customers. I'm also a fan of their STAR Card loyalty. Pay for 10 oil changes - 11th is free. Although, it would be nice if they reduced those requirements. One has to drive 50,000 miles to get the 11th oil change free - if changing at intervals of 5K miles. Others have to wait even longer! Lastly, this is not easy work. The staff works year round in all types of weather. Whether it's scorching heat or freezing cold - wet or dry. So don't forget to tip! read more

I have been going here for years, along with my family, with no problems. I dropped off my car a few weeks ago, and when they returned it to me my muffler was snapped. The boys working there never thought to mention it to me, until after I walked back in and asked, however they had no problem coming up to me in the middle of the oil change trying to sell me a new air filter. Once approached, they threw their hands up, and told me to call the manager, who was not on the property. But, I had to wait a few minutes so they could call them first. After 10 minutes, Beau walked onto the property, and immediately went to talk to his staff. He came up to my car and said "I heard their story now what's yours?" No, hi how are you, or pleasant greeting. After explaining that my car had no problems before the oil change, and now it has a very obvious and loud problem i was told it was my fault, and that they weren't responsible for it. Beau was very defensive and would not let me talk or explain my side at all, he kept talking to me as if I was an idiot. He told me that my muffler was already snapped, and his boys did me a favor by hanging it back up, after saying a few minutes earlier that they weren't trained to do anything other than oil changes. Finally, I was done dealing with him, since he was not listening at all, and asked very simply for a name of a mechanic that I could bring the car to, and have the bill sent to the business, and i got "oh honey, don't even try that" What worries me most is what else has happened in that garage that they don't tell their customers. I was at West 10 Express Lube recently for a Full (Synthetic) oil change, not inexpensive! Tires were low on air which they should check, but didn't in spite of the fact that the receipt said they were checked at 36 PSI Oil change display on my car was not re-set as is standard procedure. There was a delay because staff misplaced the oil filter housing and scrounged through trash cans to find it. Lots of horsing around by staff. There was a time years ago when service was much better. It seem they have lost their experienced personnel. Not to be confused with the auto repair operation which shares the same building and counter space. read more

My husband and I brought our cars in for an oil change today... We both have foreign cars... My car is an SUV, his car is a hatchback- my car cost $32.95 plus tax, as advertised- my husband's car cost $47.76, NOT as advertised. The problem is- we weren't notified. If we were, it would have been our choice... When my husband questioned the cost, the young man pointed to the sign, which said synthetic $89- so my husband said, I didn't get synthetic & the young man said- well it says it somewhere... I went to Express lube today to get an oil change on my 2016 Chevy Trax and I have nothing but kind words for the company. I've been going to Express Lube for 6-7 years and not once have I had an issue. Today, there was a long wait, and you could tell that the gentlemen working were busting their buys to get everyone in and out as fast as possible. There were about 5-6 cars in front of me when I get there and it only took one hour for them to get through all those cars and finish mine. One downside was that I got a nail stuck in my tire while they pulled my car into, and out of the shop. I went to one of the workers there named Marco and explained that the nail was not there when my car was pulled into the garage. Marco went straight to the manager and had him look at my tire. The manager as well knew the nail was not there, since he was the one who pulled my car into the garage, and immediately took action to fix the issue. He went over to the tire section of the building and spoke to one of the gentlemen working there. He asked the gentlemen to pull the nail out and fix the tire. Mind you Express Lube and the tire section were slammed with work. The guy went right to my car and pulled it into the garage to fix my tire. On top of all this, the manager had me pay nothing for fixing the tire. Even though I got a nail in my tire, I couldn't have asked for better customer service in such an unfortunate situation. (I've been planning to get new tires anyway) I wish I got the managers name to include him in this review. These people are great and I will continue to go to Express Lube for my oil changes. They charge less than Chevy does; which is an even better bonus! read more

Fast service and they don't hit you up to buy a bunch of add on items that you don't need.

It is a good idea to keep a service record in your car of when the last oil change was, the last trans fluid change was, etc. Otherwise, they will recommend a trans fluid change when not always necessary. Friendly staff and quick service though read more
