I came in on Saturday for a last minute bouquet. All I knew I wanted was yellow roses and soft/pastel colors. They were able to put together such a beautiful bouquet in just a few minutes for me while I explored the shop. The flowers were absolutely stunning (and I wish I had gotten a better picture because this one didn't do it justice). They managed to read my mind on exactly what I wanted. This florist is very unprofessional, rude and disrespectful! I had ordered the peach compassion standing spray for my grandmother's funeral. what I ordered was not what I received as you can see in the pictures. Also, I had put the delivery instructions to be sent on July 15th, the day of her private family viewing to the funeral home. When I arrived I did not see my arrangement. I called the next morning and the lady that picked up the phone said that the owner called the funeral home and said that the funeral home said that there was no viewing. I asked that the owner call me to give an explanation on why she did not follow what my delivery instructions said to do. There was no formal viewing but there was a small family viewing and I wanted the standing spray there on that day. Well the owner calls me and is very rude as soon as I answer the phone. She did not apologize for her mistake and kept justifying her wrong actions. She would not answer me when I asked "why did you not deliver to the address that I said to deliver to and on the day I wanted it?" she said that I should have been kind enough to call to let her know??? Ummm what??? I'm confused on how I'm suppose to know that this florist doesn't follow delivery instructions. The delivery instructions said to be delivered on the 15th at the funeral home, not the 16th at the church. She then says to me. "Listen here lady!" And tells me that she's been in business for 50 years and she's never had a complaint. I say, Well I'm sorry, I'm very disappointed and this is very unprofessional and I asked for half of my money back. She said she would only give me 25% off and I'm not okay with that bc the floral arrangement that I ordered was not what I received. The standing spray had holes, wilted flowers and black petals on the outside of some of the roses. It was unacceptable for spending $370!!! She kept arguing with me and then I said I will be leaving a negative review on her company and she hung up on me. If I would have known that I would have had to go through all this just for flowers, I would have never ordered from this florist. My grandmother had other floral arrangements and plants at the funeral home so there was no issue having the arrangement there. I'm extremely shocked that I was treated in such a degrading manner and there was no apology for what happened. Also, I asked her if I could send her pictures/video of the standing spray I received so she could see and she kept saying that she has pictures too and that it's impossible for her arrangements to have wilted black flowers but my pictures say otherwise. read more

We needed a spray for a funeral and being long distance made it difficult. We looked in their website and called to place the order. I gave them the name of the church but mistakenly gave them the wrong address. When I realized my error I called back only to find that the lady who took my order had already corrected the error. I was relieved since it was so close to the funeral time. We were not able to attend the funeral but we received pics of the arrangement and it did NOT disappoint. It was a beautiful, lavish spray, very tastefully arranged with all white flowers and greens as we requested. Everyone raved at how beautiful the spray was and how long it lasted. Thank you! If I could do zero stars I would. I ordered flowers for my Grandmother's funeral. I wanted something we could take home and would look nice for a few days afterwards. When I got to the funeral home I thought my order had not been delivered. I looked at the cards to discover my order was an absolute embarrassment! My husband wanted me to call immediately. Honestly that was not at the top of my list considering the funeral was the next morning. My cousins were laughing! You can decide if I received what I ordered and paid for! My mother-in-law's dog was having surgery so I had an arrangement sent to her to brighten her day. I realized she was going to be leaving her house at a certain time so I called them to see if they could deliver before that time. They were so sweet to be able to work with me and get them delivered on time. These ladies did fabulous work creating last minute wedding flowers. I had been turned away by two other local florists because we only had a few days of planning. When I walked in the front door at Rowlett Flower & Gift I knew I wouldn't be turned away. The ladies were very busy, working to meet a deadline, but they were kind and helpful. I had a very great experience at rowlett flower and gift! The day of my friends graduation, i realized I had not gotten anything for her. So I went to the flower shop an hour before I needed to leave, and I was greeted with a smiling face. I told the owner that I only had about 20$ with me, so if she could make it less than that, it would be great. She runs to the back and comes out with a bunch of flowers and we picked out the ones we liked. she put them together right there, and continued to ask our opinion. we asked if we could have them wrapped rather than a vase, and she happily did that as well. Great show being run be great people. I wish I had a picture of the beautiful arrangement that she had made. This has now become my go to flower shop! read more
