Rowdy's is a hidden gem. One of the best breweries in California. Great beer, great service, great ambience.

This place has easily jumped into my top 5 for breweries. The bartenders are very knowledgeable of what they have and the recommendations were perfect. I'm a big Hef guy and theirs is great and more of a traditional German Style Hef. My favorite here was the Bison Swing. For it being their highest alcohol percentage beer it was very smooth and tasty. So be careful because it could creep up on you. Rowdy's Brew Co = Humble Swagger When I first walked in, I'll have to admit that I was a little taken aback. It was loud, there was a very eclectic group of people, I mean... It was just plain Rowdy! (I didn't put two and two together at the time though) Rowdy's will grow on you if you don't absolutely love it from the beginning! The beertenders (John and Alan) are very nice and welcoming. It was endearing that John came around to greet my pup and I think he wanted to take her home. lol When I came back in the second and third and fourth time, he not only remembered me, but he wanted to see the pups again. I just think thats really cool and always feel extremely welcomed. Now for the beer, well I love the fact that they do this, and I'll have to say that it caught me of guard at first, but they don't give samples. I remember asking why and John just said simply, our beer is good and If you like IPA you will like this one... It's that kind of confidence that I can appreciate. And well, the beer was damn good. So, needless to say, they know it's good, I know it's good - so just order the one style you like, and the beer will do the rest. Be prepared to have a lot of fun too! they have giant jenga, arcade games, connect four, battleship, great music, live music, people dancing and celebrating. Last time I came I had such a good time. The people that were working were so fun and welcoming. This time, I was terribly disappointed....especially with the brewer with the big long beard. I literally stood in front of him while he was on his laptop for 6 to 7 minutes before asking him if I could get a game off the shelf. He hadn't acknowledged me at all and looked at me like I was crazy and said, "don't come back here, you need to stay over there! When you open a tab I will give you the game." I honestly didn't even know he was an employee so I started asking him about the beers and he was hesitant to help me. I got my beers and that was it. Then I went over later to ask him about a beer and he was still equally as rude. The beer is good but the service sucks ass. I could buy this game at Walmart for $4.99 if i wanted to. The trash smelled like a dead carcass! Will never come back. Manny is the only redeeming quality this place has!! read more

One of my new favorites spots! The energy is amazing and the staff is cool too and very knowledgeable. It's clean, and there's plenty of room to move and walk around in. The beer selection is not as small as other breweries. You have to look at the first menu when you walk in and the one on the left side of the wall. They also sell cool merch. I was pleasantly surprised when we walked in to this place, it's far bigger than it appears from the outside, there are a ton of games and ample seating with views of the TVs. The guy at the bar was really nice and immediately pointed me in the direction of the beer he thought I'd enjoy after asking my preferences. I love supporting independent, craft brews but I just couldn't give this place more than 2 stars. Their beer was not good at all. It had no body and no flavor. I've never been to a independent brewery and had this experience. And I tried several beers. The flavor was lacking and the alcohol content was low so I left feeling only bloated. They don't allow you to sample beers. So your forced to purchase tasters which probably get wasted. The facility is very nice and large too. They definitely have a lot to work with but need to work on it. There are really so many delicious breweries popping up. Parking: Tricky and frustrating. They're in an industrial park and there was no on site parking because they had a bbq stand set up. Street parking is highly regulated. Everything around there is industrial park so no parking there unless risk getting towed. Tried calling to ask where I could park but got voicemail. If there's not immediate parking you might have to walk a bit on a busy street. Facility: Huge. Great space. Even a nice, big outside grass area for your furry friend or kids. Though they don't have enough seating. Definitely not a lot of bar top seating. I ended up standing by myself awkwardly. Even not a lot of table top space or out door seating. Had some arcade games and foseball table. Beer: only had a 1 and done. I'm a IPA guy and judge based on that alone. It was ok. There are several options in the local area I like better. Only very recently discovered that this brewery is literally down the street from my work. I decided to stop by one evening after a long day and see if they were any good. My first note is that parking isn't great...I had to park along a wall, where others were also parked but that isn't ideal. Thankfully the beer made up for it. They have about twelve beers on tap right now, but I only had time to try two. Their pilsner was good, refreshing and everything I'd expect from a basic pilsner. By far the best brewery in Southern California that I've been to. Arcade games (only .25 cents) foos ball table, I think they have board games too...? They allow your pet to be inside with you. Lots of seating, great music, big screen for watching big screen stuff. And to boot the brew masters that were there the night we went were super cool, lively, and attentive to their customers. Not much more to say other than it's a great spot to hangout, go for a date, or celebrate an occasion. If the arcade machines haven't convinced you enough, the great service and good selection of beers should at least up your curiosity. read more

I've been coming to Rowdy's now since around the time they opened and I must say they are the best brewery around. They have the most excellent beer flavored beer and the customer service here is amazing! John and Alan are the best beer tenders/brewers. They are always super friendly and I love having them in my neighborhood. My absolute favorite thing about Rowdys is the environment. I can always come here and know that I'll be enjoying my time. PEOPLE BEWARE OF ROWDY'S What follows is a review I wrote that was originally posted on Rowdy's business Facebook page on Oct 31. It appears on my end that my review on Facebook is public, I've asked 5 people to look at my review and Rowdy's response but none have been able to find or see my review on Rowdy's Facebook page. My review from Facebook: I've been to Rowdys several times with great service from Alan. I can't say the same for the other guy who is always behind the bar, as he has never served me and usually waits for Alan to serve me, I'll refer to him as man bun. If you are female beware of the weird bike shop next door trying to lure you in as I got caught up in their net. Then realizing I needed to get out I walked back into Rowdys to exit through the side door. Man bun chased me and my friend into the back parking lot to tell me not to come back because I set a beer down on the table (a beer from the bike shop guy that I didn't want). My friend tried to explain to man bun about the bike shop, the beer, and how I was trying to leave but man bun didn't care and acted like he didn't believe us. As I said before I've been there several times and I've given plenty of money to Rowdys buying their beer. Unfortunately I don't want to go back, my safety may have been compromised and when it was brought to man buns attention he acted like he didn't care. Don't give your money to an establishment that doesn't care one shred about your safety. After reading reviews on Yelp this may not be the first time something shady has happened. Another female on Yelp referred to Rowdys neighbor as the creepy bike shop and gave them a low rating as well. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, there are several breweries in the area without the weird drama. This concludes my Facebook review. Rowdy's responded with a thorough response, letting me know they spent hours reviewing several video cameras from that night. They do their best to shame me and place blame, then go on to say they know they don't have all the facts and will I please contact them to resolve this matter. Keep in mind my friend tried to explain that night but they did not care one bit about their customers but only about their business. Only until I wrote a review stating my opinion and experience at this establishment do they suddenly want to hear what I have to say, and why should Rowdy's hide my Facebook review if they feel they have been genuine? read more
