The building is in the National Historic Registry. (Cool Ambiance) This Ale House is humongous with at least two to three bars. The interior was really colorful with upbeat wall to wall murals. In addition, you'll see some cool stuff like an old-fashioned telephone booth and signage. For fun, there's a small arcade area with timed basketball and air hockey in one area of the ale house. (Service & Food) Natasha was our wonderful and caring server. A bottle of cold water and glasses w/ice were brought to the table. We ordered soft drinks to start out. For lunch, we ordered a Grilled Chicken Avocado BLT and a Caprese Sandwich. Both sandwiches had wonderful fresh ingredients. Each platter came with a small air fryer container of spicy chips. The bacon on my sandwich was nice and crispy. Just the way I like it. : D The manager Nicole came to check in on our table along with others. We told her everything was great. Definitely recommend Asbury Ale House. In regards to parking, we parked on the street and used the mobile app. It was a weekday and street parking was tricky. Can't even imagine parking on the weekends.

We…read morewere seated in the very back and on the opposite side, away from the other patrons, which was great but it also felt as though we did not receive enough service due to being away from everyone else. The food didn't take too long to come out and the portions were good but the taste was just okay. We did experience a couple missing items (side of avocado and chimichurri) and brought this to the server's attention. For the chimichurri, we were told that it didn't come with the steak because they didn't have it anymore so they didn't include it in our meal. We should have been told this before the food came out or even right after it was set on the table. We were offered a replacement sauce (pico de gallo) just to find out that it cost extra and had to explain that it should be free as a replacement to the chimichurri. The manager was able to comp the pico and apologized. At the end of the meal, I was also surprised to not receive any acknowledgement that I was celebrating my birthday (which I marked on the reservation). Once I received the receipt, I noticed that we were also charged extra for the missing side of avocado and an extra sauce. This was not disclosed to us prior. I can see why this place would be popular due to the atmosphere but the food and service here would not have me coming back.

The restaurant set up chairs outside on the little green and it was a very lovely ceremony. The reception was a 5 hour cocktail / appetizer hour and it was everything anyone could ever want. Let's be real - when you go to a wedding it's the cocktail hour that steals the show. Now imagine that for the entire night! It was fantastic! The passed around appetizers were delicious and the rotation changed frequently. From grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters (my favorite), to three different tiny corn tacos (sweet potato, fish, and pulled pork), to sliders, to sweet and sour chicken skewers, to lobster rolls, to SO MUCH MORE. All of it was incredible. The drinks were also delicious. The bartenders, waiters, and waitresses were so very nice and accommodating. I went to grab a coffee from the coffee station and one of the servers told me he could make me a latte so of course I had to have one. The space is so lovely and held a good number of people without it feeling crowded at all. There were tables set up throughout the space and you could sit, or stand by the bar, or dance on the dance floor all night long. It was so much fun! Thank you Ashley and Cross & Orange crew for such an enjoyably fun evening!

Had more flavor. The garbanzo salad needed more cucumbers and tomatoes. But it was flavorful The burbon old fashioned was good as were the aperol spritz drinks. Our server Loranne was fantastic. Saw a 1 star review saying "one and done" , "dessert was good", "all atmosphere", "just okay"…read more As much as I disagree with that assessment and personally feel that Pascal and Sabine is way better than "just okay"... that review should not equal 1 star. You're only review, you've only been once and decide to go onto a public forum and give 1 star. Anyway off my soapbox. Pascal and Sabine not only has some of the best cocktails and bartenders in Asbury but possibly NJ. I have been countless times with my wife, my kids, large groups you name it. My favorite way to experience Pascal is to sit at the bar get a couple cocktails (The Jackal is a staple), the Madame Smith Burger (my wife gets the Mr Smith) the fries are amazing, and maybe the escargot and just enjoy. It's up there with some of the most perfect nights out in Asbury you can have. Hope this 5 star review balance out a ridiculous 1 star review. - YH

This place is a standout…read more I came with my mom during happy hour and everything from beginning to end was excellent. Lovely hostess, great round bar seating with huge windows for people watching, and a genuinely charming and attentive bartender (Mike). We started with oysters from Newfoundland and cheese off the happy hour menu -- both great. My mom loved her lavender French 75 (a drink special), and my white wine was perfect (the name escapes me at the moment). The garlic soup deserves awards. I first had it two summers ago and still think about it -- I made my mom try it and she immediately understood my rave reviews. For entrées, her burger was cooked perfectly medium-rare, and my fish & chips absolutely hit the spot. Both came with generous portions of house-made fries and an unexpectedly addictive house honey-mustard. We had enough fries for leftovers, and I even asked for extra mustard to take home. Food, service, atmosphere, lighting, noise level -- all dialed in. A 10/10 experience!
