These guys will increase your rent on a dime. They increase the rent frequently. If my memory…read moreserves me, we started off paying in the double digits (maybe $90) and we are now paying $235! Everyone is hurting in today's economy, but these guys have no qualms about raising your rent time after time after time. We have paid our rent diligently for several years (at least five, but I'm unsure of the exact number). We pay on time every time and we've never been late. That doesn't matter to them. I don't know the exact measurements of our unit, but it's not a big one. I think it's 7x10. The advertised price for a 7.5 x 10 unit is $82 right now. It feels like a grift to me! The benefits of this place (security and cleanliness) are not worth the price. If you are going to get a storage unit, don't get one here unless you want to be faced with unending rent increases.

I rented a 5'x10' unit here because the advertised rate of about $70/month seemed like one of the…read morefew semi-reasonable numbers left in the world. In hindsight, that price feels less like an actual offer and more like a "welcome brochure" written by someone who knows you won't be paying it for long. The facility itself is fine. Four walls, a door, does what it says on the tin. No complaints there. The pricing, however, is where things get creative. After about 8 months, my rent quietly leveled up to $115/month for the exact same unit. No upgrades, no changes, no additional services--just a new number that appears on your bill like it was always meant to be there. Meanwhile, new customers are still being brought in at around $70-75/month. So the system is clearly working: step one, get you in with a normal-ish price; step two, remind you that stability is a myth. When I asked about it, I was given the classic "economic factors" explanation, which has become the modern equivalent of shrugging while your wallet disappears. It's hard not to notice the pattern here. It feels less like pricing and more like a slow game of "how much inconvenience will you tolerate before moving all your stuff just becomes your second job." And honestly, it fits right in with the general theme of modern life, where everything vaguely necessary seems designed with a quiet assumption that you will eventually run out of energy to keep arguing about it. So yes--technically it's a storage unit. But it also doubles as a gentle reminder that the starting price is more of a mood than a promise. If you're considering renting here, just assume the advertised rate is the opening chapter, not the story you're actually signing up for.

I hired On the Go to load a trailer in preparation for an out-of-state move. The moving team…read moreovercharged me (I had to get home office to do a correction), but that was only the surface. When I arrived in my new location, I had a different mover ready to unload the truck. What they found was astounding: The movers had paid no mind to how they stacked our boxes, crushing multiple bins and seeing boxes cave-in on themselves. These photos came from the other movers as they thought their counterparts did it, and were (in their words) "embarrassed." On top of this absolute disregard for boxes, 11 pieces of furniture suffered damage. Their label was "cosmetic damage," because nothing broke ... it's just visually damaged (deep gashes in wood, leather scraped off real-leather chairs). The care extended to a couch where they removed the peg legs and through them loose into the trailer (we had to find them over the course of the move). I documented everything, shared photos, etc. Their offer: $100 check due to cosmetic damage. And after a fairly pointed email about the negligence of how they packed the trailer, they just stopped responding. Now, here's the onus on me: I only did base protection. I trusted their reputation and after seven cross-country moves, felt confident we'd be okay. Shame on me, and that'll never be a mistake I make again. I don't expect anything to come of this for me. And that's fine. But hopefully at least one other person will be saved the frustration and expense.

ANYONE LOOKING TO HIRE MOVERS BEWARE *review update*…read more Do not hire these movers! We hired them to help us with our move on Saturday, August 1st. They moved a 500 dollar pair of Bose headphones (that are not even finished being paid off) to the cab of their moving truck and decided to keep them. We have contacted them three separate times to return them and have ignored us. I am a very disabled retiree with neuropathy, as well as lots of problems and these movers were the only ones I could afford at the time. I'm warning you not to hire them or else you'll have to deal with filing stolen property reports for whatever high value electronics they decide to steal. These movers work extremely fast and are opportunistic thieves! If for whatever reason you do decide to hire them, keep serial numbers of all your high value electronics to easier report them stolen and make it harder for them to pawn and sell, set up security cameras to watch their moving truck so you can show it to the police after, and expect no communication from them after they have stolen your property; but it is recommend to just hire another company instead of this company that prey on disabled retirees.

They carefully wrapped and protected everything that needed it, packed the truck like a game of Tetris, and handled both loading and unloading efficiently. Despite a long day of heavy lifting, they always had big smiles and were genuinely pleasant to work with. These guys are strong as oxen and never slowed down. It was a 12 hour day!! Nothing was broken or damaged, and there were no surprises with the bill. I especially appreciated their straightforward pricing structure with a fixed travel charge rather than the vague "from our location" fees that can vary wildly depending on traffic. As a Realtor for over 31 years, I've worked with and observed many moving companies. Anderson, Carlos, and Luis rank among the very best I've seen. I would absolutely use Lion Movers again and would wholeheartedly recommend them to my clients, friends, and family.
