Round Table always hits the spot...Over the years I've had everything on the menu. Today I ordered to go at lunch break. I ordered online to save time. The total was 16.99 for a small. Within minuets Round Table called and said the pizza I ordered was on special today 18.99 for a large would you like to change your order? I said yes. Thoght that was kool since I had no idea about the deal. Had the new advertised Sausage & Sweet Peppers Specialty Pizza. It was everything I expected from Round Table. Horrible horrible service. My daughter wanted to eat out. We haven't done so in a long time since covid. She chose pizza so we came here. The guy running the front of the store had a friend show up. He tells me my food is almost done and goes outside to work on this guys car with him. Meanwhile my pizza is done. The kitchen rings the bell several times but there no one to bring me my food because he's outside working on a car. I waited and he was still just in this guys engine. I finally had to go get him. He comes in all filthy. Just the worst. I was so irritated that I no longer wanted to eat there. So $70 later and my daughter didn't even get to eat out we ended up taking it home. We sometimes order Round Table Pizza as take-out. While it is quite expensive, Round Table generally, makes better quality pizza that most pizza restaurants so when we want a baked pizza, we usually order Round Table. When we have the time to bake the pizza ourselves, we order our take-out pizza from Papa Murphy's - which also makes excellent pizza at about half the price charged by Round Table. However, this review is less about Round Table take-out than about the dining experience at the South Tracy Blvd. & Valpico Road Round Table. We've gone to the South Tracy Round Table a couple of times for lunch. Our recent experience will be, I think, our last such visit. The first problem was that the all-you-can-eat lunch version of Round Table Pizza are not as good as the take-out version. The pizzas seem to have less sauce, the toppings are sparse, and when we were there the choices were limited to cheese, veggi, and Hawaiian. It would seem prudent to offer more variety given that there were duplicates of all three of the varieties available. The salad bar part of the lunch was very good. There was an abundance of fresh salad makings, some alternative salad choices like macaroni salad and three-bean salad, and there was a choice of several dressings. The atmosphere at the south Tracy Roundtable is clean and casual. The music, however, some kind of rap that was on so loud, we actually tried changing tables to escape it. With the music, it was impossible to talk during lunch. The staff that attended the lunch seemed to be bored and just going through the motions. We were, already, not too impressed with the lunch experience. But what topped it off came at the end. A full fifteen minutes before the end of the posted lunch hours, we finished our main meal and my wife went to get some of the sugar-cinnamon pizza which, earlier, had been set out next to the regular pizza. The tray was empty and my wife asked a waitperson if they could replenish it. She was told that lunch was "winding down" that whatever food that was out would be all that would be served. Wrong answer. We paid for the pizza lunch buffet and it is the responsibility of the staff working the lunch to make the full buffet available during the hours that the lunch is being sold. At $9.99, the Round Table Pizza lunch is a bit higher-priced that most of the competition. If the lunch pizza were up to Round Table's typical standards and if the food selection didn't dwindle near the end of the time that the lunch is offered, then the price wouldn't be excessive. But, as it is, we'll be trying other Tracy Pizza parlors. The South Tracy Round Table seems to be poorly managed. read more

1.) If I can give 0 star I would. Seems like the owner of the restaurant will hire any body lacking of basic skills. All employees do not know what's on the menu. No customer service skills. No common sense what so ever. I asked if a flat bread came with mushrooms (I did not want mushrooms) the employee said they do not come with mushrooms. I said ok perfect. When I got the pizza, IT HAD MUSHROOMS. 2.) Went to re order another time, it was 8:30, they close at 9. The boy on the phone said they stopped taking orders at 8:30 so they can be out by 9..? Round Table is by far better than any other take out/delivery pizza chain and this location is no exception. Great tasting pizza. I have picked up from this location a couple times and never had a problem with customer service. I took off one star because it is a little over priced for a pizza chain. I checked the business' hours for this location and all websites/apps have the closing hours at 10pm. I went tonight and got there at 9:20pm. A female employee was seen cleaning in the main dining area. I went inside, since the front doors were unlocked. She looked at me and I could tell she was not happy I was there. I asked her if they were open and she said they close at 9pm. I told her about the online hours and she said the online hours were wrong and hasn't been changed. I really like Round Table pizza... In fact, it's probably the best pizza in Tracy. This location is pretty good. They are never really busy when I go there, and the help is pretty friendly. They are pricey- $33 for an XL half combination/half pepperoni. I know I could go to Little Caesar's (ugh) for $6 or even Mountain Mike's for a lot cheaper-but Round Table Pizza is just better. The only thing that I hate is that they charge you $1 for 2 thimble size containers of ranch dressing after spending $33 on a pizza. Oh well. read more

Round table Pizza used to be our go to place for pizza. We ordered a King Arthur's supreme which is nothing more than the name for their combination pizza. Upon placing the order I was told their delivery time was one hour and fifteen minutes. And this was on a Wednesday night. A large pizza 12 slices was 33.50 without a delivery tip. This was absolutely the worst pizza I've ever had at Round Table Pizza. Shabbily put together with little of any of the meats. Mostly old vegetables including old mushrooms. There was no crust sauce and crap to the edges. The pizza wouldn't even stand up to holding it. It flopped down and was disgusting. Never again. Horrible service here. I should have gone to mountain mikes and spent my 30 dollars there instead. The staff was lazy and no one was in front to take my payment. My pizza was literally sitting on top of the counter for a good 15 mins. I was yelling excused me at the girl in the back to get her attention but she had earphones in her ears and didn't bother to come check on me. The manager was rude and need more training on how to manage his staff. Obviously he is incapable to be a manager. Who ever hired this person should do a better job on hiring their staff. read more

We went in on November 18th in the afternoon. For starters, the place was very clean and people at the lady at the counter was very nice. We ordered garlic twists and a medium pizza. The twists were cooked a little too well done, and we had to ask the server for ranch and dipping sauce...twice. The pizza was also a little too well done. But overall it wasn't bad, so I'm sure we'll come again. But the food wasn't my problem. My problem rested with the fact that the manager had decided to discipline an employee in the middle of the damn restaurant. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. From what I gathered from the conversation (halfway across the restaurant), the manager had decided to write up the employee for lodging a complaint with the owner against the manager for "harassment". I don't know what the circumstances were, and I absolutely understand there's two sides to every story, but you NEVER discipline an employee in public like that. You do it either before or after the restaurant closes, or in a back room somewhere. If the employee's allegation is true, then it looks like he may also have a case of retaliation against the manager. If the owner reads this, you might want to get your staff in check. read more

Ordered a pizza for delivery. I was told it would take an hour and 20 minutes. After a hour and 45 minutes I called and was told our pizza had just left and was the second delivery with the driver so it would be about 10 more minutes. 2 hours in the pizza finally comes and of course it's cold and looked like it had sit around for awhile. Very disappointing with the price and after waiting over 2 hours. We only kept the pizza because it was after 8 p.m. and didn't want to wait any longer to eat. If you are going to charge prime price then you need to have prime service. Not at all worth the $30.00 for a large Pepperoni bacon pizza that was supposed to be their $21.99 special. They of course added a delivery fee etc. Next time Mountain Mikes or evening I hate to say it but Domino's or Little Caesar's at least they charge appropriately for what you get. D read more
