I ordered a xl pizza double cheese double sauce 1/2 & half When my son went to pick it up for me , they presented him with four boxes. He said," are you sure this is my dad's order it should be 1box." His order # is 5005 last name CHERRY The employee said yes so he left with the 4 boxes. The order was not mine it was an order for a person named Sherri . We live 30 mins away so when we called to advise them on their mistake they said se could come back and get the pizza we ordered. Well I didn't order online to drive 2 hrs back and forth to get a pizza so that won't work. After a lengthy debate about refunds & customer service etc they said they would refund my card. They did not! So I called back a week later went through the same B.S. they said they'd refund my card and again they didn't . So for 42.00 they've lost a customer who always believed in the slogan Round table 1 of the last honest pizzas. I ordered ten (10) assorted pizza's for security and the mutual clerks at the humboldt county fair from the fortuna round table. The manager (KAY) was extremely effective and professional. I told her I would pickup the pizza's around two(2) pm that afternoon. I showed up a bit early and everything was ready. She included all the necessary plates untenisils..napkins.... Etc...etc... it was an easy comfortable experience.... Will always reorder every year we return to Humboldt county. read more

I can describe this Round Table in one word, FILTHY!!!! The men and women's bathroom's are absolutely disgusting! The area where pizzas are made was covered in a mixture of toppings. Gross! And, to top it all off... An employee must have been sweeping before we arrived because there were two types of brooms laying on the floor with a pile of dirt we had to actually walk over so the kids could play the video games. Wtf is what I am asking? The Health Department needs to pay this place a visit and soon! Mind you these are only things we saw with our eyes. I can only imagine the things we didn't or couldn't see. Stopped in here with my new bride after a long day of walking in and around the Redwoods and because I have always had great pizza at Roundtable Pizza up and down California and this stop DID NOT disappoint... GREAT PIZZA!! Placed my order and ended up talking with John who I assume is the manager. Friendly guy and as I figured the low star rating and bad reviews was because of poor employees prior. Of the pizza places in town this is the priciest. The quality is on the higher end though. They also have an onsite arcade and TV monitors all around the restaurant. Unless you come in at the end of lunch or dinner time the place is generally clean. With their pizza buffet lunch special, it is one of the most affordable places to have lunch in town. They get you on the drink price add-on. Well not me. They don't sell Coca Cola products, only Pepsi Cola, so I only ever get water. read more

Sept 5 2021... Today s National Cheese Pizza day? Is that a thing? Ok, on with the review. My wife wanted to order a couple pizzas for dinner, and I love round table. I told her to order online and I'll pick it up. She called me back and said she tried to order online and it wouldn't let her so she called it in. I had the app that offered a personal cheese pizza with purchase of an XL pizza, and asked her if she used the code. She had not. My wife called back and tried to use the code over the phone, but the guy said to use the code, it had to be redeemed on an online order, but their online ordering option was not working... sooooo, can't redeem the code for a free personal cheese pizza on National Cheese Pizza Day, and after I spent $85 on two XL pizzas. What great customer service. How much does it cost to comp a personal cheese pizza for someone spending $85 on pizza to keep the customer happy, when it's no fault of the customer that the online option is down? Hopefully this review will open the eyes of management to what customer service is suppose to look like. read more

One large pizza three toppings three drinks just under $40.00. YIKES Pizza was burned around the edges. Others in our party orders two other pizzas and one was cold when they got it. A pitcher of beer was delivered to the table with the glasses being held by the fingers inside of the glasses. Had to get our own plates. This place use to be really great and had good customer service. That was not the case last night. That is the last time we will be eating there. Horrible pizza. We paid 30 bucks for a medium including drink with tip. Expensive pizza. The pizza itself was not edible to humans. Cheese was half melted and pizza crust was greasy and uncooked. So I don't normally like to do bad reviews and I hardly even do them unless I was blown away with the services somewhere. On another hand I was seriously blown away from even buying pizza here again. First off when you spend $30 on a pizza you wanna feel like you you got a good pizza. Roundtable is one of my favorites. But it's so pricy I can't afford it but every once in a while. Past few times I bought pizza it's been hit or miss. Sometimes it feels like you got your money's worth and the other times it feels like you got ripped off. Which in this case I totally feel like I did. I specifically went in and ordered my pizza and told the the lady who took my order about how the pizzas I purchased in the past been hit or miss sometimes made well and other times not. She says "oh really that's terrible well I'll make sure it's made well this time" so I hung around while my pizza was made I think it was Mark who made it BTW and when she called me up she asked how'd it look I said well there's bubbles and normally there would be toppings to the edges. This time nope topping were not to the edge. What a waist of money and a waist of breath. Such a bummer.. Cuz it is one of my favorite pizza places.. read more

Hmm, ate here on a return trip from San Francisco. My San Francisco trips are always /weird/, and as usual we were getting into the Eureka area after dark (and ended up driving to.. Roseburg that night, it was totally insane. I did all the driving, of course). Anyway, this is where we stopped. Good, clean restaurant if a rather faded look to it. Pizza oven and cooking spaces visible, which is reassuring for some people. Overally I can recommend it as being an average pizza place with perfectly good pizza, better than any delivery except Garlic Jim's, though just thoroughly average as sit-down places go. Mostly I like the place for the fact it's located in a town which as a complete coincidence shares the name of my car, which I, yes, really did name Fortuna before I'd ever even known a Fortuna California existed. Also, open until 10:30 PM on friday and saturday nights, which is pretty damn good for a small town like this in an area that has nothing but small towns. read more

Should have read the reviews, but despite the price, my experience with Round Table has always been positive. Yet, like everything, everything changes. I ordered a pizza and salad on line, some extras on the pizza but nothing complicated. Once arrived to pick up I step into the door and get a sideways glance from a young man making a pizza at the window, no hello, no "someone will be here to help"... more like seeing a rat scurry across the floor. I take two steps in and almost bust my butt on the greased floor. Look around to an empty shop at lunch hour and realize I made a mistake. Observe two elderly ladies at the salad bar and that is it. Everything looks, old, dirty and unkempt. After standing at the counter to pick up my to go order for over 10 minutes and being duly ignored by the gentleman making the pizza 10 feet away a young man sees me from the back. Looking like he just came off of rocking the bong, he gives me a "dude, what's up?". Stunned "I am here to pick up an order", he gives me a pizza, no salad. I tell him I ordered a family salad and I get "ugh, I don't know what that is, do you want to make it", stunned I look at him and say fine. He hands me a small salad container and i ask "is this family size" - "uh, no" - grabs a large lid and looks around the store for 5 minutes looking for the appropriate container, eventually finding it where he found the lid. "Here you go dude".... If you were to put together the travesties of Dude Where's My Car and Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure you would have a more successful enterprise. This place has gone to crap. We order regularly at 100+ dollars per order. We always pick up but always tip. We have never had a problem until tonight. During the pandemic we have been trying to support our local restaurants 2-3 x times per week utilizing delivery or curb side. This was round tables first order from us during this time. We always get a bunch of wings and request 6 large ranch for the wings and pizza ( kids love ranch and there ranch is good) never a problem in any of the previous orders. Tonight our daughter and significant other pull in call that they have arrived and the food comes out promptly. They check the order and there are 4 tiny ranches in the bag. They call and ask to please have the ranches we requested brought out. They are told by a man that they saw the request but must pay for the ranch???? We pay online when the kids get the food so this was very uncomfortable for them. The kids reached us after they had paid and were given 20+ tiny ranches and charged 6.50 that they had to come up with. I called immediately and was put on hold to eventually talk to JACOB who stated its 1.00 per large ranch. He had no explanation why this occurred but its policy. I told him this is very out of the ordinary and expressed my opinion this was not right the right way to conduct business. I ended the call letting him know he just lost loyal customers over 6 ranch dipping sauces. I also asked he notify his manager hoping they would reach out tomorrow. Its not the money its the way the whole situation was handled if you need to pay for more ranch call and tell someone. Disappointed. read more

Worst service I've ever had. I called in a pizza at 7. At 830 I called and was first told my pizza was on the way. Then she said I could come pick it up. So I asked if it was on the way or not. Lynn, the rude person on the phone said she didn't know. I asked her to check and she said "it will be there soon" How do you know if you won't check? I have been of the habit of getting take out only here. The service in the past has been mediocre. But the last couple of times that I've braved the dine-in experience I've had my mind drastically changed. The current staff is attentive beyond reproach. They are friendly and efficient. I've always loved the food of Round Table (when I can afford it). Today the manager welcomed me in, made fresh twists with the lunch buffet ending in moments and then delivered them to my table as I dined.
