Ordered a large half and half combination and pepperoni pizza,also bread sticks. Was told be ready in 30 minutes. We had to go and pick it up cause they don't deliver, no problem. We picked it up on time and got it home to cold and over cooked bread sticks and the pizza was the worst tasting we have ever had from Dixon Roundtable Pizza. As the time passed I was still wondering if they were just behind and if it would get here and so after about an hour and a half i decided to call. Guess what, NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE. The manager was helpful but gave me a little hard time in the way that he wanted to push the blame on me. That the miscommunication was on my end. I don't care. Had to come out to Dixon for business purposes and called up this location as it was the closest to where we were. I called and spoke with Reyna she took our order over the phone and was súper helpful and super nice. Her customer service is on point! Even when we got to the restaurant she right way knew it was us and was super helpful. I know I know placing a pizza order is nothing from another world but I've encountered some rude individuals in my time. On another note for a store that hasn't updated their interior like other stores it is well kept and clean. If and when I come back this way I will definitely come back. read more

I'm a public school teacher. This past week was the final week of school and I had determined that my students had done such an exceptional job this year that they deserved a pizza party. Unfortunately, I didn't leave myself much time to make arrangements to have pizzas delivered to the school with less than 18 hours notice. After being turned down by several other pizza places in town, I managed to speak with the owner of Dixon Round Table who agreed to open nearly 3 hours early the following morning in order to have 5 pizzas delivered to the school by 9:45am. The customer service and accommodations were OUTSTANDING, and my students were overjoyed! I will for sure be reaching out to Round Table again at about this time next year. read more

For the second or third time, they've forgotten to include the sauce we ordered with breadsticks. The pizza has been burned around the edges too, but the sauce is the main thing. Last time, we called and they said they'd bring it right over, but after an hour, I had to get in the car and go get it. Tonight I finally decided to say something in a yelp review. I ordered a small pizza and small salad last night. We've ordered from Round Table Dixon for years and it's always been great. The pizza last night was terrible. My husband and I each had one piece. It was doughy and very little sauce. I lifted up the cheese and it was very light pink. Lots of sausage, pepperoni, olives and mushrooms but it couldn't make up for the crust and sauce. The salad had a lettuce mix, cucumbers and croutons. No mushrooms, tomatoes or carrots as in the description. I'm hoping this is a one time thing. Whoever was making pizzas last night needs to be taught how it's done. read more

First and last time coming here. Went for lunch buffet. Staff was extremely pleasant. To describe my experience in one word, I'd say "dirty". Place just yearns for a good deep-cleaning/renovation, top to bottom. Also, flys were buzzing about dirty dishes as if they were dead corpses. That was surprising, considering they had 5-6 employees working at the time. The salad bar was not only a complete mess, it also only offered minimum salad faire. Maybe 6-8 items. And the lettuce was BROWN. Not like, "ehhhh? It's a little wilted, but it'll be fine" brown. I mean I could of put this next to a pile of autumn leaves and the two would be indistinguishable from each other brown. One of the employees changed it out per my request. Thanks for that! So my stars won't match my recent experience which was ridiculous. I don't do reviews when things are good so I want to be fair. I generally REALLY like Round Table Pizza. It's actually my favorite pizza. So when my pie arrived 15 minutes late, after getting a 1 hour delivery time, I was just a little annoyed. My pie was hot, but a quarter of the toppings had slid off because of an untended bubble. It clearly did not have the extra cheese I had ordered and paid for. But the worst part was the crust. It was definitely inferior to the usual RT crust. I don't know if it was actually a different recipe or if it was just somehow stale. It tasted flat and almost cracker-like. Maybe it sat in the warmer too long or maybe it was bad ingredients, but it was the worst pizza from any pizza place I've ever had. I hope it's better next time. If not it may be my last. read more

Love the pizza, especially the sauce. Tuesday night is buffet night all you can eat salad and pizza. This is my go to pizza when I want to splurge on an excellent yet pricey pie. Make sure you look for coupons. Never had a bad pizza from here. Low marks for the sit down at Round Table. The place is a bit dated and dirty. The restaurant needs a good scrubbing and cleaning. Is it really that hard to clean and maybe even spruce up the joint a bit over time? I understand that a full remodel is likely not possible, but do a little here and there. This Round Table delivers - not just the pizza but quality. The prices are still a little too much for me in terms of a good pizza but at least you know you'll have a good experience. Things to keep in mind here: -Try the white, garlic sauce! It's super good. They are really good about switching the sauce even if you are ordering a specialty pizza -Original=thin, Pan=thick, Skinny=REALLY REALLY THIN. I personally prefer the original crust. -Garlic twists are a MUST with any order. They come in orders of 3, 6, 12 and 24. -Artisan pizzas are really good too so ask about them - they are a limited time thing I think? -I always stick to the specialty pizzas... they are a little more but I think you get more of your money's worth than if you were to create your own. -There are coupons online... but they aren't always the most helpful. Usually can at least get the $3 off an XL, $2 off a L or $1 off a M pizza. Don't ever eat THERE.... save your experiences for take out/delivery. The place is not very appealing on the inside. The TV is in a corner and is not really big so don't think that you can come here and watch the big game or anything. Save it for at home in front of your own TV. read more

For the first time in five years our delivery order was incorrect! It took over an hour for the delivery to arrive in the first place (after a quote of 45 minutes). All items we ordered came, but the pizza was most definitely someone else's. When we called to complain we were promised an oops card or something to come in the mail. That was over a week ago. Lately they haven't been paying much attention to details. My wife and I love the pizza and we use the five star app too. The last two times our pizza have been made wrong. It should be noted in the computer as we are regulars there on how we like our pizza made. HOT MESS! It's a gamble at this spot. They have so many employees working, and still, a line full of people who either don't get their order at all or just get a random order that wasn't what they asked for! I enjoy the pizza, but, for the price, I should be able to expect that what I get is 1) what I asked for 2) cooked properly (not undercooked or burnt) 3) ready when I am told it will be, 4) delivered to me without attitude and 5) given to me the SAME DAY that I walk in and order the damn pie! I almost feel bad for the manager, but, this team clearly needs a stronger leader to give them some direction and whip them into shape. Everyone looks so lost here, most of all, the employees. This location was so filthy we had a hard time eating our pizza. Restrooms were worse than a gas station, carpets were stained and had food and paper on them, salad bar lettuce had brown edges. The staff was very friendly (which is the only reason I gave it more than one star). However, the staff was laying down on phones when not helping customers instead of CLEANING. Shame on the management for not properly training their staff and letting a well known chain become such a dump! read more

I really like round table pizza. I worked there for years. But this particular one just can't get it right. They get my pizza wrong every time. They got the remake wrong. Like I said, I worked at round table for years so I know how to order it the way I'd like it, and I even make sure to specify when I want something out of the norm. But they can't get it. I use to live in Woodland where I use to order medium mini pepperoni pizza w/ extra ranch and since moving here I placed the same order as I have been getting for years. I have no idea what is wrong with this location. I have ordered on four separate occasions (hoping the time before was just a off day) and they forget my ranch 2 out of the 4 times, my pizza was lukewarm (if even that), and my pizza looked like it had been sitting out for a while. The delivery time took over a hour and half even though I live 8 minutes away from there! I got extremely sick the last time I ate from there and haven't gone back since. It is just this location!!!
