We placed a simple order: a large pepperoni pizza, two draft IPAs (with no list of options provided), and a salad. We paid upfront, including tip, and found a table. There was a bit of a wait before she poured our beers, and the IPA choices turned out to be limited to just a Blood Orange Double IPA or a Hazy. The salad came out quickly, followed by the pizza, which wasn't very hot. The pizza reminded me of Little Caesar's as a child, and real light on the cheese and pepperoni. While we were waiting, I noticed a man sitting in the corner with a laptop and earpiece, talking the entire time and even helping himself behind the bar. When the employee came over with our drinks, I quietly asked if he was the manager or owner, she said he wasn't, which was confusing. The place felt overwhelmed and understaffed. She saw us when we came inside and 6 minutes later, she was still on the phone. I find this rude, disrespectful and unfair since we have been waiting for a while. On his way out, she shouted and reminded him "don't forget your free soda".
