It was definitely on the thinner side compared to the prime rib I've had at other steakhouses, but the flavor absolutely made up for it. It was seasoned really well, flavorful, tender, and honestly one of the best-tasting prime ribs I've had in a while. My girlfriend ordered the rack of ribs, and she loved them! She said they had great flavor, were tender, and were cooked really well. We also shared a side of mushrooms, and those were SO yummy definitely a side I'd recommend adding to your meal. The restaurant is definitely on the expensive side, especially for a steakhouse, but for a special occasion like an anniversary, I'd say it's worth the splurge in the long run. Our waiter was also incredibly sweet and attentive, which made the experience even better. Since we were celebrating our anniversary, they even gave us a free dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch! As for the ambience, it's okay. It has that classic steakhouse/western feel, with deer and elk heads mounted on the walls basically staring you down while you eat . It definitely gives the restaurant a unique atmosphere, although it's not necessarily the type of ambience I'd come here for. I ordered a salad with chicken. The salad was very skimpy, with only two thin slices of apple, two small orange slices, very little feta, and mostly lettuce. The chicken portion was extremely small and was served separately on a plate rather than sliced and placed on the salad as ordered. The other dishes were also small and underwhelming. The burger and fries were nothing special, and the spaghetti was plain and lacked flavor. If you are looking for great ambiance, this may be a nice place to visit. There is 1 restaurant attached to the hotel, and it is only open for most business from 4-9 Mon-Sun. They offer a coffee shop with pastries counter service Mon-Wed 7:30a-11:30a. It's a bit inconvenient because if you work earlier than 7:30, you must walk a block to another place or drive 10 mins to Starbucks. For those of you that don't know, Winters is a smaller farm town located in a more rural part of Yolo County. It lies east of Lake Berryessa, north of Vacaville, and west of Davis as its town is adjacent to the Putah Creek. Located directly on Grant Ave (Hwy 128), this fruit stand is a standalone business with no other neighboring businesses in the area. They offer a small parking lot; however it is unpaved and has loose gravel directly outside. Regular business hours are 11am-5pm Wednesday through Monday as they are closed on Tuesday. I had the opportunity coming here as I was passing through and decided to stock up on some fresh fruit. I've got to say that the fruit selection here was quite impressive as they had a generous amount of peaches, oranges, nectarines, apples, lemons, limes, grapefruit, and squash. There was also an abundance of walnuts, cashews, almonds, dates, and figs as well as numerous jars of honey (in all flavors), almond/oat/pistachio butters, olives, and olive oil. During my visit which was during the morning of Saturday 6/17/2023 at around 11:30am, I ended up getting several spring snow-white peaches, honey crisp apples, and a jar of almond butter to take home with me. The three ladies working behind the table were in an upbeat mood that were very friendly during my short visit. Considering this place started over 100 years ago in the 1920's (in Sunnyvale, CA), they have come a very long way while mastering the art of growing only the freshest fruits from their fields. All in all, "Winters Fruit Tree" scores a unanimous five-star rating from me as the selection, freshness of the fruit, reasonable prices, and above average customer service all scored high marks in my book. So if you're ever passing through the Winters area, go check them out!

Walking into the Pizza Factory in Winters was an experience that set the tone for an amazing meal. The space was spotless, with a welcoming ambiance that immediately made me feel at home. One standout feature that I absolutely loved was the wall adorned with law enforcement and military patches. It's a meaningful reminder of the restaurant's strong support for those who serve our community--a quality I deeply respect in small businesses. The owner himself was a shining example of excellent service and genuine hospitality. I shared with him that I was looking for some shareable bites to bring back to my family while we enjoyed a wine tasting down the street. He couldn't have been more accommodating! He suggested a delicious variety of dishes, including a pizza sliced into smaller, shareable bites, jalapeño cheesy bread, and garlic sticks. His thoughtful recommendations ensured everything was perfect for our needs. Let's talk about the food--wow! The pizza was a masterpiece of flavor. The cheese was luxuriously creamy, with just the right stretch and a melt-in-your-mouth texture that left me savoring every bite. The crust was perfectly golden, offering that ideal balance between crispy and soft. As for the jalapeño cheesy bread, the heat from the jalapeños paired with the gooey, decadent cheese created an explosion of bold flavors. The garlic sticks were buttery, fragrant, and downright addictive. The food was so good that my family couldn't stop eating. We devoured every last bite, and it kept us satisfied until our planned dinner later in the evening. It's rare to find food that's not only convenient but also so deliciously memorable. This was an amazing experience, start to finish. The combination of great service, mouthwatering food, and a thoughtful, community-focused vibe earns Pizza Factory a solid 10 out of 10 in my book. If you're ever in Winters, this is a spot you absolutely have to try--I know I'll be coming back for more! read more

Had a horrible experience at Pizza Factory in Winters, CA today. I purchased two fundraiser card helping a student from winters high school. So today I went to use the two fundraiser cards on two separate order. When I showed up the owner approached the counter started going off on me and my friend saying every time someone uses the fundraiser cards he's losing money. He also stated that every time he opens the door everyone is stealing from him. I spent over $60 on two XL pizzas. To be treated like this is in acceptable. Especially coming from the owner of the establishment. What happened to customer service. What happened to manners. As an owner you should NOT be HARASSING your paying customers. You need to be making paying customer happy, not accusing them of stealing because you are using a fundraiser cards that has your name of business on it. This is not acceptable I spend my hard earn money here in winters so it can stay in the community don't have to do this Costco makes a better and affordable pizza than this place. Corporate and city of winters needs to get involved at this establishment. The owner is rude and unprofessional. I will never return. And for the Winters community just so you know, if you use a coupon you are stealing from the owner every day he opens the doors until he closes everyone is getting over on him. So in short and simple words the owner is saying everyone in winters and anyone using the fundraiser cards or not is a thief in his eyes. I have been living in winters for about three years this is the first time I was treated like this from any restaurant here and if you look on the pizza Factory website it's all about helping out the community not make the community feel thief's or criminals. read more

I especially love that the crust was crispy, but not at all burnt - a problem I often see with pizza trucks/carts. Service was also great. They accidentally gave us a wrong pizza, and told us to keep it while they made us the correct one for free. 4 people, and we ate all 5 pies without a problem. I only wish they had a regular storefront so I could know how to get my fix whenever I'm in the area.

We decided to grab some sandwiches for our paddle boarding trip…read more It was my first time and I feel like the menu was a little overwhelming. The store was clean and organized. The worker was super nice and efficient. I ordered the Garlic Pesto Turkey as a wrap. They only had one tortilla choice and it was gluten-free. I wish there had been at least a spinach choice. I didn't eat the until we were taking our lunch break on the water. It was good, but definitely not stacked with filling. I don't think I'll come again only because it cost $15 for a medium sized wrap.

My husband & I went yesterday. We used to live in Vacaville & regularly went to West Coast…read moreSourdough, so expected a similar experience. Ordering was largely okay, we had a birthday coupon for a free cookie & the worker was trying to tell us it was expired, even though it says it's valid until 9/1. My husband suggested they add the cookie to the order & then use the coupon, & that worked. We got a meal & they informed us the soda fountain was broken, but they had bottled soda. Hello no refills. We ordered a veggie sandwich to split, it arrived & each side only had one small piece of avocado. My husband complained, so they gave us 4 more slices to share. Tomatoes were razor thin, all the produce seemed like the very minimum amount they could give & we could barely taste their house spread. Was bad overall, we normally go to Solano Baking Company, you get more bang for you buck & they actually make a good sandwich. We won't be back to this location.
