While I have been gifted treats from here, this was my first time visiting for myself. We opted for the drive thru window. We had to wait a few minutes for service. There appeared to just be one person helping people inside as well as the drive thru. The wait gave us enough time to figure out what we wanted. There was a handwritten chalkboard with all of the menu items for the day. Unfortunately the regular breakfast cookies, which are our go-to, were sold out. My son did snag the last gluten free breakfast cookie. My daughter opted for a blueberry muffin while I had the pineapple banana bread. Both were good but not quite as good as our usual breakfast cookies. The gluten free breakfast cookie was put in a bag along with the non-gluten free items, which was a little concerning. The coffee was fine, but the food was awful and the server behind the counter seemed like she didn't want to be there. I had a breakfast cookie and threw half of it away. While that may be attributed my personal taste, there's no doubt that the day-old banana bread I had was awful. It tasted like it was a week old and it went right in the trash. It was marked half-price but it wasn't even worth a penny. I'll stick to Sweeten Creek Coffee, I'll never patronize Round Earth Roasters again. Sorry, but it was a bad experience. read more

Cute little coffee shop in town. We were headed out and just searched for a coffee shop nearby. It's is a little house with a drive thru on the side. Indoor is simple and unassuming and space to sit outside as well. Staff were friendly and got through the line that was forming quickly. I had ordered a rosewater special latte and when it came out, I didn't love it. They were willing to make me something new that was to my liking and were very helpful. This is a great little coffee, shop and Café... I love the baked options that are here. A perfect place to have a quick meeting or just to hang out. Nasty coffee. Sorry. I have been blessed to have the best coffee from Idaho to New York. So I am picky. But it is dirty looking and backwards looking. And the pastries taste like cardboard. They do have lots of Gluten Free options which is a plus. They just don't taste good. Now all that being said the service is as amazing and with a smile. Very nice. But ugh. A group of friends and I in desperate need of coffee stumbled on this place while on a girls trip in Asheville, and we were not disappointed! Most of our group got Chai Lattes, I got a Lavender Latte, iced. The shop is so sweet; there's ample room to sit and hang out, and even a drive-through if you're in a hurry! How cool for a little local shop! The folks working and making beverages were so sweet and patient with us as we decided what to get. Guys, I got to the bottom of my iced latte and realized my ice cubes were brown. They took the extra step of adding coffee ice cubes to my drink so even down to the last drop was delicious. We stopped by to pick up some coffee and were amazed to discover that Round Earth Roasters has a drive-thru! I thought this was a fantastic idea. They offer lots of different coffees, smoothies, and breakfast pastries. It was hard to choose what to get, but I ended up getting a Dirty Chai, which is a chai latte with a shot of espresso. It definitely delivered on the caffeine but was a lot more bitter than I'd been expecting, even with the added honey. I also snagged one of the 1/2 priced chocolate espresso cookies (baked the day before). I love that they offer both freshly baked or 1/2 priced cookies so that any older ones don't go to waste! read more

The iced coffee is absolutely delicious. Like others have mentioned the coffee ice cubes help to keep your drink filled with flavor all the way to the last drop. I enjoyed it immensely. Stopped here a few times during our visit it Asheville - it's right off of Hwy 40. Convenient for getting going on your daily excursion. They have an assortment of house baked pastries - many of them vegan. Very friendly staff and indoor/outdoor seating. There's also a drive though. I love quirky local coffee joints and this one qualifies. I'm in search of my new favorite local coffee shop, and this spot right on Hendersonville road was so cute and convenient I had to try it! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, so many food options, and they even use coffee ice cubes in their iced coffees! I got a salted caramel iced coffee and a carob chip banana bread (which I'm fairly certain was vegan) and was happy with both, though they were both VERY sweet so definitely more of a treat than a common occurrence. The drive thru is a great convenient option that I'll likely be utilizing pretty frequently. read more

Stopped here on our way back to Hickory. Staff was super helpful in deciding our drinks and making them super yummy! Some of their syrups are made in-house and I tried their vanilla latte with the house made syrup- very good! We also got a matcha with oat milk and would recommend that as well! I was actually going to Atlanta Bread next door, but the line was so crazy I decided I would walk across the parking lot to check out this place. I was pleasantly surprised. The establishment is really eclectic and comfy. The coffee selection was extensive, and I really enjoyed my vanilla latte. My daughter had an espresso, and she said it was one of the greatest she had ever had. The cost is expensive in comparison to coffee chains, but as they do the roasting and put in more work, I think that makes sense. We are looking forward to checking it out again! read more
