Just tried this place for the first time. It was wonderful. Charming sit down restaurant. I mistakenly thought it was fast food place. Not at all. Good service and good prices. I ordered Tika Marsala and loved it. Asked for medium spice and it was perfect. I will be back

We ordered takeout for dinner on Christmas Day. Their website wasn't working but I was able to find menu pictures on Google and could order pickup via a DoorDash link but couldn't pull up their website by just search on DoorDash. We ordered butter chicken, chana masala, garlic naan bread, and raita. They included some rice pudding dessert thing, which was thoughtful, but none of us are really fans. The Chana Masala was our favorite because it was full of flavor. The butter chicken was pretty good but some of the pieces of chicken seemed a little fatty. Overall, another solid Indian option in the area. The food was on the hostess stand when I walked in right at the projected time and the staff was friendly. We will definitely order from them again.

I saw a couple of great reviews for Roti Indian Kitchen here on Yelp recently, so Nate and I stopped in for lunch the other day. The interior is bright, clean, and spacious, with several people dining in. The menu is pretty large, with Roti specialties, a build your own section, appetizers, and regional favorites. I love Indian food but don't get it that often, so I was excited to try one of my favorite dishes, butter chicken. We also got an order of samosas, and Nate got the mattar paneer. Each lunch entree comes with either soup or salad, rice, AND naan! The samosas came out first and they were hot and golden brown. These were the most delicious samosas I've ever had. Fluffy inside, crispy outside, not dry at all. The chutneys for dipping were flavorful and tasty, I loved both the cilantro and tamarind one. I got the soup with my lunch, and it was a savory, rich, thick tomato based soup. Nate got the salad, which was pretty basic but fresh. Our entrees took a little bit to come out but when they did, I was so excited because it was a lot of food and everything looked and smelled amazing. The amount of naan we got was bonkers, I think we had 8 pieces? The rice was fluffy and our dishes were so savory and perfectly sauced and spiced. I got a level 2 spice for mine, and Nate went with a level 3 (of 5). It was pretty spicy but he liked it! They don't skimp on the heat here. Our servers were great and very polite, and the employee at the host stand was friendly and kind. I can't wait to go back and eat more food at Roti!

Food was amazing the naan was perfect. Service was good and the dining space is clean and inviting. We got spice level 4 and it was making my nose run lol.

I had a craving for some Indian food and I had heard of this new restaurant in Cascade that moved in, so I thought I'd try it out. The atmosphere was gorgeous with branches and white lights all over the ceiling that I recognized from the previous owners. I'm glad they kept it, since it truly is beautiful, and it gives the impression of dining in a courtyard outside. I was greeted promptly and sat right away. I was dining alone. I wanted to try a few things, but I also had my favorite items, so why not get extra? I asked the server what he recommended for an appetizer and he pointed me to the tandoori sampler. I also ordered some garlic naan which came with some Raita to dip it into. Delicious! There couldn't have been a more perfect blend of flavors, and the meat was nicely done while still being juicy. I had already ordered a main course, or I would have stopped there, as I was already very full. Ah well, I'll just eat the rest for my lunch at work. I had ordered chicken biryani, which is a chicken and rice dish with peppers, potatoes, and onions. Even though I couldn't eat it all the way, I did manage to have a couple of bites. It was wonderful! I look forward to going back again and trying more items on the menu!

Really enjoyed our lunch today. Great flavors and good service. The ambience is light and clean. My husband had the butter chicken and I did a 'create your own' with Saag & lamb at heat level 2. It was very good but I might try level 3 next time. Don did the level 3 on his and it was very good and definitely warmer in spice than my level 2. At lunch, you get salad or soup. We did salad. Very fresh greens tossed lightly with ranch. I think it could have used some fresh cracked pepper but that's just me. Lunch came with lots of naan bread. Enough food that we brought home a little of everything. We will be back!!

The food was divine. I had the vegetable samosa and chicken vindaloo. The chicken vindaloo is spicy but it was amazing! Owner was great too. The music and ambiance was great too. Highly recommend!

Fast and delicious Indian food. I ordered the butter chicken which came with rice, naan, and the choice of house salad or soup. I went with the salad and really enjoyed it as a starter. The presentation was very nice of the chicken. Plus the decor of the restaurant is beautiful with the greenery and twinkle lights. Serving size is large enough that you get leftovers. Service was fast, kind, and a great experience! Parking is fine, but being in front of Costco traffic getting in/out isn't ideal but that's not on them. Will eat here again!

They now have a diaper changing station in the first restroom! They're perfect for many more families now..! :)

    Comfy and casual seating.

The food was fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was quite nice and service to match. Coming back many times.

Madras Indian Grill was suggested and everyone seemed excited as most of us hadn't been there before and we were craving Indian food. The restaurant is pretty large and we were one of a few parties dining in. The menu is huge, with lots of great options for vegetarians, but be careful if you have a nut allergy as many items have cashews and/or almonds. Our friend was directed to the chicken vindaloo which doesn't have cashews. I like that they also feature south Indian items as well as Indo-Chinese dishes. They also have non-alcoholic drinks and desserts. We started with two orders of the veggie samosas, which were excellent. I find that sometimes samosas can be dry, but not these! The mint and tamarind sauces were flavorful and tasty. I'd get these every time. For my entree, I got the palak paneer and also the chicken hakka noodles, as I've never had them before. We also got two orders of garlic naan and an order of paratha. Our food came out pretty quickly and everything was so good. I loved the flavors of the palak paneer (although it was not spicy at all -- I ordered it "American medium spicy") and the textures of the hakka noodles. I couldn't believe the portion sizes in relation to price -- the entrees were all around $12-$14 and were generous portions as we all had leftovers. Our server was kind of roasting us for our orders (telling us the butter chicken was bad and we should order something else, commenting on our spice level preferences, etc.). They have a lunch buffet Friday-Sunday that I really want to check out (they said the menu rotates for that and you can find the items on their social media), but otherwise I think this will be a good takeout spot for me. It took quite a bit of time for us to get our checks and to-go containers. But I'm so glad I got to try this food and I'll be eating my way through the menu!

Ive probably been 5 times now and each time their has been a funky, chemical like smell in the restaurant. The employees are also not the friendliest. I usually get takeout and when I do ive had to wait up to 30 minutes past the time that I chose for pick up, if the food isnt going to be ready until 5:30 dont tell me I can pick it up at 5. But... with all that being said the food has been really good. I usually get butter chicken from them. The chicken is well seasoned, the gravy is thick and seasoned heavily. Its not the best Butter Chicken I've ever had but for Michigan its pretty darn good. They give you a healthy amount of rice, but its not the best rice I've tried. Their naan is better then most ive tried around the GR area, soft and pillowy. The food is about a 4 but the service and ambiance are closer to 2.

I called ahead to make sure they were open, but they are closed on Tuesdays starting July 2025. I arrived right after 11 am and the front doors were still locked, but someone came and opened them up. The dining room is large and bright, and I was the only customer there the whole time. They have a daily lunch buffet from 11 am-3 pm, so I decided to try that out first. The buffet had tandoori chicken, aloo matar, chicken biryani, chicken curry, eggplant curry, gulub jamun, chicken nuggets, fries, and some salads and sauces. I got a little bit of most things - I loved the aloo matar (potatoes and peas) and the chicken curry, but everything was hot and fresh. I decided to order the matar paneer to try as well - this is one of Nate's favorite dishes, while I usually get butter chicken. The dish was piping hot and served with rice. The sauce was not as thick as I've had before, but it was very flavorful and savory, and the medium spice level was pretty mild for me. I really liked this and would love to try their butter chicken next time. Service was good, but again I was the only person in the restaurant. There was only one employee that I saw tending to the buffet and serving me. Tandoori Hut is pretty far from my house but I'd come back for the buffet. I paid $14.99 for the lunch buffet, which I think was a very fair price.
