We ordered the lamb saag, lamb mushroom curry, and butter chicken, and every single dish was outstanding. The lamb saag was rich, perfectly spiced, and the lamb was so tender it practically melted. The lamb mushroom curry had incredible depth of flavor -- earthy, savory, and just the right amount of heat. And the butter chicken? Creamy, comforting, and honestly some of the best I've tasted -- not too sweet, not too heavy, just perfectly balanced. On top of the amazing food, the service was wonderful. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we walked in. It's clear they care about the experience just as much as the food. I can't recommend Roti enough. Whether you're craving something rich and hearty or just want a great meal with excellent service, this place delivers on every level. We'll definitely be back -- and I'm already looking forward to trying more of the menu! If you haven't been to Roti yet, do yourself a favor and go. You won't regret it. read more

We went on weekday dinner time, not busy at all. There's probably a couple tables occupied. It is a cute and clean restaurant. I like the decor. Our server is attentive, seat us, gave us water and menu right away. Took our order fast and the food was served on a decent amount of time. Just a note, we ordered medium spice level on all food --- it was not that spicy at all. We should have asked for a bit more spice. Mango Lassi - is just ok. Not sweet, not thick. Chicken Biryani - it has a quite amount of chicken, it was delicious Lamb Vindaloo - I am expecting this to be spicy, reminder to get the regular spicy or more. I hope the lamb was a little more tender. The sauce tastes good. Garlic Naan - is the best! It is in a strip mall, lot of parking space. read more

Ordered delivery through their website. Food was pretty good and hot. However - no silverware. When you're in a hotel, this is a big miss.

Just tried this place for the first time. It was wonderful. Charming sit down restaurant. I mistakenly thought it was fast food place. Not at all. Good service and good prices. I ordered Tika Marsala and loved it. Asked for medium spice and it was perfect. I will be back read more

Omg. So good. Came here as a last meal during a trip after a weekend Billy Strings fest and I was not expecting the level of service and ambiance in addition to the GREAT flavorful food. Fresh herbs in everything, made to order breads, fresh cocktails, and even the rice was great. I wish I got our server's name but he was cool and helped out with recommendations and timing for plates was also great. Prices were very readonableSeriously what an experience. Might just be because I'm from small town Montana, but definitely worth the trip if looking for great service and flavor. read more

We saw all the great reviews and decided to try it. We did carry-out. Everything was excellent. We had vindaloo, biryani, chicken tikka masala, and chana masala. Garlic naan was great. Everything was really well done. Next time most of us will order a higher heat level though, as the ordered on the low side, and would have liked a bit more. We'll be back. read more

A decent restaurant for quick bite. No lunch buffet though. Staff is readily available but not very professional. Food is ok for veg dishes we tried. Soup or salad are not really good. Well decorated with lights. read more

Delicious fresh food and easy online ordering for pickup. We were in town for a funeral and our hotel was nearby. We ate twice from here because it was that good. I highly recommend all of their breads (didn't try the naans though) and the chicken tikka. Food was hot and ready on time. read more

We ordered takeout for dinner on Christmas Day. Their website wasn't working but I was able to find menu pictures on Google and could order pickup via a DoorDash link but couldn't pull up their website by just search on DoorDash. We ordered butter chicken, chana masala, garlic naan bread, and raita. They included some rice pudding dessert thing, which was thoughtful, but none of us are really fans. The Chana Masala was our favorite because it was full of flavor. The butter chicken was pretty good but some of the pieces of chicken seemed a little fatty. Overall, another solid Indian option in the area. The food was on the hostess stand when I walked in right at the projected time and the staff was friendly. We will definitely order from them again. read more

I saw a couple of great reviews for Roti Indian Kitchen here on Yelp recently, so Nate and I stopped in for lunch the other day. The interior is bright, clean, and spacious, with several people dining in. The menu is pretty large, with Roti specialties, a build your own section, appetizers, and regional favorites. I love Indian food but don't get it that often, so I was excited to try one of my favorite dishes, butter chicken. We also got an order of samosas, and Nate got the mattar paneer. Each lunch entree comes with either soup or salad, rice, AND naan! The samosas came out first and they were hot and golden brown. These were the most delicious samosas I've ever had. Fluffy inside, crispy outside, not dry at all. The chutneys for dipping were flavorful and tasty, I loved both the cilantro and tamarind one. I got the soup with my lunch, and it was a savory, rich, thick tomato based soup. Nate got the salad, which was pretty basic but fresh. Our entrees took a little bit to come out but when they did, I was so excited because it was a lot of food and everything looked and smelled amazing. The amount of naan we got was bonkers, I think we had 8 pieces? The rice was fluffy and our dishes were so savory and perfectly sauced and spiced. I got a level 2 spice for mine, and Nate went with a level 3 (of 5). It was pretty spicy but he liked it! They don't skimp on the heat here. Our servers were great and very polite, and the employee at the host stand was friendly and kind. I can't wait to go back and eat more food at Roti! read more

Absolutely fantastic! My partner and I stopped for a dinner date on a Saturday night, and were absolutely pleased. The service was amazing, with all the staff being friendly and attentive. The food was just as amazing. Our appetizer, vegetable pakora, was lightly fried with two amazing dipping sauces. The tikka masala was just as perfect. This is for sure our new date night spot! read more

This place is a hidden gem for sure! Went to celebrate a birthday and the food was amazing! We started off with the Samosa app - the dipping sauces we do good I could have ate them with a spoon! Portions are large even for lunch. We had the salad with our lunch - fresh and tossed lightly with a creamy dressing. I had the briyani with chicken - I ordered mild but could have easily done medium but flavors were spot on! . The naan bread was perfect as well. Certainly will be back! read more

I have been to Roti several times and every time I have received great service and the food has been excellent.

I had a craving for some Indian food and I had heard of this new restaurant in Cascade that moved in, so I thought I'd try it out. The atmosphere was gorgeous with branches and white lights all over the ceiling that I recognized from the previous owners. I'm glad they kept it, since it truly is beautiful, and it gives the impression of dining in a courtyard outside. I was greeted promptly and sat right away. I was dining alone. I wanted to try a few things, but I also had my favorite items, so why not get extra? I asked the server what he recommended for an appetizer and he pointed me to the tandoori sampler. I also ordered some garlic naan which came with some Raita to dip it into. Delicious! There couldn't have been a more perfect blend of flavors, and the meat was nicely done while still being juicy. I had already ordered a main course, or I would have stopped there, as I was already very full. Ah well, I'll just eat the rest for my lunch at work. I had ordered chicken biryani, which is a chicken and rice dish with peppers, potatoes, and onions. Even though I couldn't eat it all the way, I did manage to have a couple of bites. It was wonderful! I look forward to going back again and trying more items on the menu! read more

Really enjoyed our lunch today. Great flavors and good service. The ambience is light and clean. My husband had the butter chicken and I did a 'create your own' with Saag & lamb at heat level 2. It was very good but I might try level 3 next time. Don did the level 3 on his and it was very good and definitely warmer in spice than my level 2. At lunch, you get salad or soup. We did salad. Very fresh greens tossed lightly with ranch. I think it could have used some fresh cracked pepper but that's just me. Lunch came with lots of naan bread. Enough food that we brought home a little of everything. We will be back!! read more

Fast and delicious Indian food. I ordered the butter chicken which came with rice, naan, and the choice of house salad or soup. I went with the salad and really enjoyed it as a starter. The presentation was very nice of the chicken. Plus the decor of the restaurant is beautiful with the greenery and twinkle lights. Serving size is large enough that you get leftovers. Service was fast, kind, and a great experience! Parking is fine, but being in front of Costco traffic getting in/out isn't ideal but that's not on them. Will eat here again! read more

Had a great experience. Found out that this is a second location of another great Indian restaurant in Grand rapids. Food was delicious, and filling. They gave us enough naan and rice. And lunch was actually a lot of food with the soup and salad. The only thing I going interesting was the benches were a little bit high. Service was great, and interior was well decorated. I would like to come their for an evening meal to see how the lights are lit. Definitely a favorite. read more

First almost all of the menu is gluten free which was added bonus for me. Had in depth conversation with hostess about this and I was very comfortable eating here. I was told they had a cornmeal based by flat cornbread option that was GF. I had that and this was the only item that I did not enjoy and will skip next visit. Everything else from salad, lentil soup and the entrees were excellent. Asked for heat level from 1 to 5 and food was cooked fresh. The service was extremely attentive but not overbearing. It is an hour 1 way but we are excited to visit again soon. read more

There were 7 of us and we all ordered something different and EVERYONE said this was the best Indian food they have had!!! They even upped the 'heat' content from 2 to 4, after bringing the dish to the table, when one of our group said it wasn't hot enough. Staff was very attentive and helpful in our ordering process.
