    Mezze protein bowl
    Clarissa C.

Mediterranean chipotle!! I got the mezze protein bowl that came with every type of protein and falafel (besides salmon). Definitely a better deal than a single protein bowl. So yummy! Very refreshing! But ask for sauce on the side so it doesn't drown out the rest of the dish.

I love Mediterranean food and Roti is a fast-casual restaurant that will satisfy my cravings. We got the skirt steak & brussels bowl and the za'atar chicken bowl. Their rice and hummus are solid, and the chicken and steak were both great. The bowls came with pita bread but the bread was a little stale. The staff was very nice and accommodating for nut allergies (no nuts!). For a fast-casual restaurant, though, the prices are really high.

A tastier and healthier alternative to chipotle! They have a similar setup where you can build a custom bowl or order a premade one. I went with the custom option and got harissa chicken. You get unlimited sides and sauces, all of which are delicious! And their sauces were so creative, I got the spicy feta and avocado tahini. The portion of meat is definitely smaller than I expected but overall the bowl was a really filling meal. Would definitely come back!

I ordered a Roti custom bowl, pita w/ avocado hummus, and falafel through DoorDash. Unfortunately pretty much none of the toppings I requested were added. I'm assuming this wouldn't be an issue if I had ordered in store so hopefully your experience will be better than mine. Nonetheless, the food was good, it just lacked the pizazz the sides and toppings I requested would have added.

Roti Modern Mediterranean is a chain of fast casual, build-your-own-bowl restaurants with Israeli-inspired flavors. My salad bowl came with a base of lettuce, kale, and mixed greens, topped with chili tahini cauliflower and falafels, which were soft, slightly gooey, and (uniquely) contained whole chickpeas. There were plenty of fresh sides to top off the bowl, including shredded carrots, rainbow slaw (made of Brussels sprouts, kale, red cabbage, carrots, and more), cucumber/tomato salad, beets, black lentils, golden tomatoes, and pickled onions, as well as crispy chickpeas and pita chips for a crunchy finish. On the side, I also got the hummus dip, the herbaceous spicy green s'hug, and the sweet and spicy red s'hug, which all had great flavors and a nice kick! I also got their white pita bread, which was soft, fluffy, chewy, and perfect for eating with the hummus and falafels.

This is exactly what you want when you're looking for a quick and healthy, mindful meal! Vegan friendly and absolutely delicious! My go to is the "build your rice bowl" with a ton of delicious veggies toppings, falafel, tahini, and red s'hug. You simply can't go wrong here!!

Wow! I love a fast casual concept! Roti sure hit the spot. For the price and quality, this place is never a bad idea! I got the falafel bowl w/ mixed greens. For $10, I had a TON OF FOOD! The toppings were limitless and they even threw in some fresh pita bread! Their hummus is absolutely delicious and the falafel was full of crunch and flavor. You can't go wrong with any of the toppings (since I tried them all) but the cabbage, olives and cucumber salad had to be my favorites! The staff was extremely friendly and safety precautions were enforced! I felt safe receiving my food from here. Certainly check them out!

Best fast casual Mediterranean restaurant, much better than Cava. I frequent another Roti location usually, but when I was in Hyde Park, stopped by for a quick bowl after ordering online. By now, I've tried most of the protein options, and I particularly enjoy the salad with chicken roti, hummus, veggies, cous cous, feta, pickled onions, and red s'hug as the dressing. Love how flavorful, filling, and fresh everything is.

Soooooo yummy The salmon was season to perfection and the bowls were packed with flavor that taste so good I forgot I was eating cauliflower rice!!!! I'm full, happy, and healthy, my new favorite spot!!!

Hyde Park location: I ordered salmon yogurt bowl and salmon green goodness via Uber Eats. Neither meal had salmon, and one of the meals had dry chicken. When I called, the person told me that they didn't have salmon. Apparently, they were too busy to call and ask if I wanted to change or cancel my order. When I questioned them about being charged for something I did not receive, I was told to come to the store for my refund. Really? at 8pm?  Why couldn't they refund the Uber order electronically, the same way I paid for it?! I WILL NOT ORDER FROM THEM EVER AGAIN. Very disappointed. The pita bread pictured below was so hard I can use it as a frisbee. And I paid $60. Do better Roti!

My only regret is getting the 6-inch instead of the 12-inch because it was that good. I ate my first hoagie in the car on my ride back to the home. It wasn't messy and was deliciously seasoned with condiments. I believe it was the corn beef. Yum. We also enjoyed turkey ham and turkey hoagie. The bread was just right not too soft and not too tough. However it held up with the Italian seasoning applied to the fresh veggies. All-in all, enjoyed my hoagies. If in the area again, would try the Italian beef or one of the panini. With a recommendation like that, I was ready to try anything. Parking can be a challenge in Chicago, but they had a lot in the rear of the restaurant, which was nearly empty. I strolled around to the front and walked in. I wasn't ready for it to be a cafeteria-style eatery, but it really didn't matter. The ambience was kind of cute. Lots of black and white tiles for a retro feel and some historical pictures of the founder. I ordered the 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup lunch special. Matzah ball was my choice of soup and my half sandwich looked huge. I was ready. I tasted the soup first. The broth was clear, and the matzah ball was large. I like hard matzah balls and soft, so it didn't matter to me which it was. What surprised me was the lack of chicken soup flavor. The matzah ball was spongy and not particularly tasty. On to the sandwich. The first thing I noticed was that the carver didn't pull a chunk out of a steam cabinet. They had a slicing machine running constantly forming a mound from which the carver grabbed a handful of corned beef, then a handful of pastrami, which had already been sliced and griddled to add to the corned beef. I asked about the smallest size side of chopped liver they could offer and he gave me a tiny chilled dose sized cup of liver pulled out of the fridge. So far I wasn't impressed. The chopped liver tasted very good but it was hand chopped and in large pieces with very little schmaltz. The sandwhich wasn't anything special. Not hot, not piled and the pickle was a kosher dill, not a half sour. I left half of my half sandwich, the pickle (except for the one bite), and even some chopped liver. For the cost of this average lunch , I would have rather eaten at my favorite deli in Atlanta and had tongue which wasn't even on the menu at Manny's.
