The shelves and racks were well stocked and organized. I found my favorite products such as TheraBreath mouth rinse, Fancy Feast cat foods, and RoundUp weed killer. The store kept beauty products locked up in a special section, which I understand is to prevent theft, but it also inconvenienced me, so I did not even bother to shop for cosmetics. The prices for most merchandise were low, such as $5 for women's tank tops and $75 for a Bissell vacuum cleaner, but some prices were higher than competing stores' prices, such as $2 for a travel toothbrush and toothpaste and over $20 for a few dog bully sticks.

Retail stores present a good number of options for clothing (e.g., Dick's Sporting Goods, LOFT, and Rally House), footwear (e.g., DSW and Shoe Fly), home goods (e.g., Costco, Lowe's, Michael's, Mattress Firm, and Petco), and health and beauty products (e.g., Bath & Body Works, GNC, and Ulta). Current entertainment includes AMC movie theater, Barnes & Noble bookstore, Dave & Buster's, Improv comedy club, Paint Monkey, and Urban Air Adventure Park. For many years my husband and I have visited Squirrel Hill, mostly to shop and dine. We always park our vehicle in a garage. We recommend putting a bit more money into the parking meter than you expect to need, because we have seen a police officer writing many parking tickets for vehicles in that garage. Most recently, my husband and I did a self-designed food tour in several restaurants on Murray Avenue and Forbes Avenue. We ate at T-Swirl Crepe, Waffallonia, Amazing Dumplings, Commonplace Coffee, and Hidden Harbor. We also shopped in Panda Supermarket, Chocolate Moose, and Ebisu and spent time in the Carnegie Library. Previously we enjoyed eating at Kiin Lao & Thai Eatery, Ramen Bar, Kyo Matcha, Mango Mango, etcetera. We always appreciate how the business district has a diverse population and international cuisine, is very walkable, and feels safe.

That's a good sign. For sure, it's a progress with economic prosperity in this neighborhood. I stayed at an Airbnb with walking distance to the center of the attention. My only gripe was that not many restaurants open on Sunday morning. But I enjoyed my morning stroll alone to witness the fall colors. That's a bonus on this trip. I could never see this sight in Houston Texas, where I'm from.

Two other anchors had construction work going on in them at the time of my visit, but I cannot find details what they will be used for. Several parts of the ring road are in poor condition, but for the most part the parking lot is in fair condition. The interior store count of the mall is low with a handful of stores remaining. Go Gamer ended up being a useful stop, and there is still an arcade. Why do people visit this mall? The interior has a unique style and is painted an aqua/teel color that makes it stand out. It was worth stopping by to see even with the mall basically having no air conditioning and a few roof leaks. Unfortunately, Uniontown Mall is no longer useful as a shopping option. How long will the mall last in this condition? Unknown, but it was worth the drive to visit.
