I couldn't be happier with the work Juan and Juana did! They added a new irrigation zone with 9 bubblers for my trees and took extra time to fix a couple of issues, including replacing a solenoid. What really impressed me was the attention to detail -- they carefully lifted the grass and replaced it without damaging anything, and they made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. I had a stuck sprinkler vale that I couldn't find after multiple days of poking the ground in the zone. Everywhere else I checked was quoting a large hourly rate to find and fix the valve and no one could get out for at least 2 weeks (some as much as a month). Not great in Texas summer since I cant run the system while its stuck open on the last zone. Juan came by the house the same afternoon I submitted a quote to look. After looking and discussing with me, he quoted me a reasonable flat rate and spent a couple hours looking that evening with his wife. Not finding it, he came back the next morning and with finder equipment and 2 hours later he had found and changed the valve. When I went out to check, he had replaced the whole valve with new pipe fitting because the old one had broken when he replaced the diaphragm. That was above and beyond what I expected him to do for the quote. Even though it took much longer than I think he was expecting (4-5 hours) and took more to fix the valve than would be normal, he didn't change the amount I owed or anything - just stuck with his quoted flat rate. I am a satisfied customer and will happily use Juan again when the next valve inevitably breaks and I cant find it. read more

Our system was 20+ years old. Probably had multiple companies/individuals perform repairs. So this was a mesh of different fixes. Called well known local company (I had used 3 years ago) for a quote. Wow, was that a big number! Bottom line: Juan did the same job for 1/3 their price. Where they wanted to replace 4 valves, Juan found one of three modules in the controller was the problem. I needed a full backyard irrigation system put in last fall. I called multiple firms listed in the "top 10" at Yelp. They were either VERY expensive (based on other reviews) or couldn't come for weeks to even give me an estimate. I was lucky to have found Juan Rossell. He replied quickly and came the same day. His quote was about mid-range in price (compared to online research) but he could start the next day so I said "yes". One of the really good things that Juan did was cut very deep trenches in the grass so the grass roots would not be disturbed (allowing for less shock). He even collected all of the rocks that he dug up in the process and hauled them off too. I don't usually post reviews, but I'm writing today because I noticed water bubbling up under one of the control boxes. I messaged Juan. He was in my backyard within 30 minutes. The cause was uncovered quickly.... a cracked pipe, likely caused by the recent freeze. While likely not his fault directly, he repaired the pipe quickly, and didn't charge me. He told me "you are my customer, so I will not charge you today". If you are in need of a repair of a new system, you need not look any further. He is not part of a big company. He does the work himself and takes extreme pride in it. He is polite, communicative, knowledgeable, and hard working. Larger companies should take note... this is how you do business! I was quoted several weeks out for other irrigation companies, then called Juan and he came out the next day. There was a mud hole in the backyard and he right away knew what the issue was and within 5 minutes gave us an estimate. His price was very reasonable and fair. Upon fixing the leak in our irrigation system there were actually other sprinklers that needed to be repaired and he fixed them while keeping the estimate price he gave us. I had a leak in a valve that was creating a mud pit in the yard. I contacted 4 companies to get estimates, 2 never responded, one called the next week and came out. Rossell responded the same day, and came out that day. He provided an estimate that was less than half of the other estimate I received, and included a 1 year warranty on all their work. I agreed to let them do the work and they were on site 2 days later. They arrived on time, and were able to find the problem and determine the solution, even without diagrams of where the original water lines lay. They also removed some heads I no longer needed, and replace one whole section of pipe that had been damaged by a different landscape crew. Once complete, they returned the lawn to virtually the same condition it had been in before thier work, with all trenches filled in and sod back in place. They were friendly and knowledgeable, and willing to answer any questions I had. I would certainly call them again for any problems I had. read more

One of the best I've worked with -- I've found my go to for irrigation anything. Juan came out next day, which was NOT a requirement and repaired multiple broken drip line spots, buried some protruding heads and adjusted multiple zones to ensure our yard was being irrigated effectively in these hot summer months.
