I thought I had a bad valve after getting back from a vacation. I put in calls to a number of places; including my last service and they said it would be a month before they got out here. Anyway, in the interim I noticed that I was just overwatering in a location. Armando came out and I pointed that one sprayer definitely wasn't coming out. Other areas were not receiving enough water. Sprinkler Repair Pros does not provide good service when it comes to the warranty on their work. They charge customers for a service call even if the call is for something they have just worked on. They also, only text customers back so they never pick up the phone and talk about issues that are hard to resolve over text. Very poor customer service and hence would not recommend this company! PS Despite what they might say about their "warranty", they will NEVER go above and beyond for their customers. Their employees are short tempered and RUDE & immediately suggest trip charges to come out and look at anything that isn't functioning properly (even after a few days). read more

I read all of the Yelp reviews and decided to call them for help with my system. Now I had joined home advisors because of a friend recommendation. I had a terrible experience with them it cost me $375 plus the fee to join. So I saw the Yelp reviews for sprinkler pros and called them. A super nice man answered the phone I told him the issues that I was having. We set the appointment up. The gentleman that came out was on time and I explained to him the issues I was having. It took some time about 3 hours we were finding control units and adjusting heads. He did a great job and walked me through it all. Ah, but Daniel, if y'all had spent as much time actually doing the work (instead of us having to stay on top of you to make this right) that you took to write this response, we would not be in this place now. We had to stand with you guys almost every time, and we're not the pros. YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE. That's why we hired you. All we knew was: the control never got fixed permanently until you'd been here five times. If all these diagnoses you mention happened over time, how weren't you able to test for them all the first time? Where is the quality control? You can't perform the way you guys did and not expect to be held accountable for the results. This was brutal and we were concerned with the oncoming heat and new planting we'd done that we would lose all of them with no sprinkler system, so we had no choice. If you lost money on this in some way I'm dubious, but we're feeling the same way. $1,600 to fix a sprinkler system is not something I would have agreed to at the onset. Now that it's over after five visits, I would certainly make another choice, and am advising others to do the same. It's that simple. Not worth the anguish and time spent. read more

Our sprinkler system did not work in 2 zones. Marcos, the technician from Sprinkler Repair Pros checked out the entire system at the beginning of the work, found all of the electrical box locations that were hidden in the ground and found 2 faulty valves in the 2 zones. He replaced the valves and one head to get the 2 zones working well. He was fast in his analysis of the system and repaired the system to working order within an hour. Excellent workmanship and a gentleman to work with. Daniel, the owner, had returned my call this morning to say there was a cancellation and that I can have Marcos come over in 30 minutes. The team did a fantastic job installing a sprinkler system for our home. We received bids from other companies that were similar in price. I initially rated this company a one because of my below experience. I have since been contacted by the owner who tried to correct the problem and make it right. I have changed the review to reflect his attempt to correct this problem. That is what I would expect from a business owner who cares about his business! NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE with this company. I made my first call to the number listed on website/Yelp just after 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning. They advertise on their website 24 hour service. The person that answered the phone asked me if we had an emergency service request, I told her "yes", we were without water due to a leak in our sprinkler system. She told me the foreman would call within 20 minutes. I waited until 10:49 am, no call. I called the number again, she asked for all my info again. She asked again if this was an emergency and stated she would expedite the call, would have the foreman call immediately. I am guessing she dropped the ball on the first call where I indicated this WAS an emergency, things happen, people make mistakes! We were without water and I made this clear to her the first and second call. I waited until just after 1:00 pm, no call. I called this time and a different person answered the phone. I explained the situation and he apologized, said he would make sure I was called back this time, for sure, no really! I started to realize that none of their apologies seemed sincere, almost sarcastic and scripted. My final call was at around 2:30 pm, same song and dance, different person. By this point, I was done, same sarcastic apology, verbal judo apologies. There isn't a wealth of irrigation companies to chose from that do emergency Sunday callouts. As seen by the screen shot I downloaded, this company claims to provide 24 hr service! What an absolute JOKE and a waist of time! Either this company has incompetent employees or the answering service taking calls does. Sprinkler Repair Pros sent out a technician to find a leak in my irrigation, however, they missed it - charged me for their time and I had to get an expensive leak detection company to come and find it. They did! But they couldn't fix it because they don't do repairs only detection. Called Sprinkler Repair Pros like I dunno 10-15 times? Does anyone answer? Nope but they do promise to get right back in 30 minutes or so. Well.. 4 days later this is the longest 30 minutes I've ever known. I'm now having JB Rogers irrigation come out and why is that? They actually answer their phone! And scheduled me with their first opening. At least they have the courtesy and professionalism required to run a business. How on earth SRPs gets 5 stars is quite beyond me. read more
