Ross always has the best Christmas, birthday or any occasion for anyone to shop for, even pets!

This was one of the well kept of Ross stores I've been to in a very long time and I don't shop in many of them purposefully because it's always a whole lot of clutter everywhere and you can never find what it is that you are looking for. However this location was very nicely stocked. Sana was also very knowledgeable about where things were located without even leaving the front. I'll definitely return. read more

Ross stores are pretty much the same in every town. I was greeted warmly by a security guard It is important to have extra time in thirds stores to find the best deals. Staff working throughout were not friendly and kept to themselves. A security tag on some shoes was ringing loudly (it was quite obnoxious) and all of the employees walked right past it. I didn't quite understand it. I was able to find some bargains and checkout was quick. read more

staff was rude and had no emotions, when i used the dressing room the lady didn't say a word and took her sweet time attending me. don't even get me started on the rooms...no locks?? just a magnet door i was really worried about someone mistaking it being unoccupied or a kid messing around. clothes are so basic or too much this is probably the worst ross i've been to. will never come to this location again. read more

I didn't find what I was looking for this trip but, usually I have pretty good luck finding clothing, apparel, and houseware items. Good merchandise if you have the time to "hunt"!!! May need to hire more help to check out customers.... the line was veryyyyyyy long with only two cashiers working.. Friendly staff, but the place always looks like a second hand store, messy and unorganized, maybe I've been there at the wrong time of day? I know they clean up. I guess the customers just so use to throwing things around and on the floor. I would definitely return. They had a couple cute shirts but I needed a dress. read more

I went to this location and after making a purchase I was required to show my receipt to the loss prevention and she had to search my bag and was told they do this with all customers. This was a big inconvenience and wasted time. If you are having issues with people stealing you need to come up with better strategies. I will never shop here again read more

Got to the counter today to pay for my one item and realized I grabbed the wrong debit card out of my wallet once the black lady with the purple/ burgundy bob rang me up!!! You woulda thought she just spent an hour of her time ringing up hundreds of items !!! The way she looked at me when I told her "I'm sorry I grabbed the wrong card" I shoulda just kept going when I got to my car but I wanted the perfume !! But rude !! This store is always a mess. It looks like a dump. Shoe's are ALWAYS on the floor, shelves are messy or empty especially the Mother's Day gift items at the front of the store is empty. Why doesn't someone from Ross headquarters come in here to check out the store it's terrible!!! A very bad representation of Ross You guys finally got your act together but not at the store. You know, I must admit... I almost always enjoy a stop by Ross. Sure, it's hit or miss and you never know what you're going to get, but that's part of the fun. I've found great birthday present toys, random but cool house items (including some amazing wood-carved products), and yes, even some clothing from time to time (which is never my intent when I randomly stop in). The clothing areas are sometimes a bit of a mess and, again, you never know what you're going to find, but that's the point - the whole store is a bargain bin. That really sums up Ross in general: the entire store is a bargain bin. It's sorted by category, but each area is just a bargain bin, really. And there are random bargains and treasures to be found... Happy hunting, if that's your gig! read more

As I'm waking in I was greeted by the security guard and immediately after that was told unfortunately no outside beverages are allowed. Then told me I could leave my drink at the front table. I told him that's ok and as I'm walking out I see a lady with a baby stroller that had 2 drinks inside the store. Ridiculous. read more

Let's talk reality a bit... this a bargain shop. You will need to hunt. You will need to walk around messes created by customers! These people are always cleaning. If they have a moment to catch their breath in between constant cashiering they might look like they are doing nothing(catching breath). I'm always welcomed to Ross when I walk in with a smile. We came in to exchange a luggage because it was the wrong size and we noticed the wheels looked worn even though it was new and never used with all of the tags still on the bag. They stated that they could not exchange it because "it looked used" though 90% of their wheels on the luggage looked like crap. Note: good luck trying to make returns within a hour of closing. Ok selection, about what you'd expect. With a line long enough at all times it seems to make you not even want to purchase anything. Then there's lost prevention associates all over hovering over customers. Very uncomfortable and I decided it wasn't worth buying anything. read more

I came here for shoes. I dont shop here for clothes. I usually try to avoid Ross- its just choas. The shoe area was decent, well organized but people of course mess it up. They had a good selection. What I liked was they had same styles in different shoe sizes- so everyone can get same style shoe if they want. The sizes I believe run big and small. Im a 8 1/2 - 9 and some of shoes couldnt fit me or only size 10 shoes fit me. Other than that they fit, just weirdly. Most of the shoes are hard or flat. There wasn't really any cushion shoes. Most were sandals. (Maybe cause it's summer?) I went to Famous Footwear and their 8 1/2s fit me perfectly. At first I thought my feet were getting bigger! I knew I wasn't crazy. I have only been to this location twice and both times the cashiers were beyond rude. After attempting to make conversation with one because it was painfully clear she hated the fact that she was on these people's clock, I just commented "Customer service isn't your strong suit, huh?" Retail isn't for everybody. Management needs to take a hard look at who they have providing "service" in their store. Will never return again. read more

They never seem staffed enough for the volume this store runs. Shoe section is NEVER properly arranged....very difficult finding shoes...I have to search every section to find the right size. Lines sometimes take FOREVER to check out. Overall, I love the bargains I find so I tuff it out! read more

Any Ross location is hit or miss. I found two dresses today and next time I might walk out empty handed. It's an older store but they do their best to keep it clean and somewhat organized. It's worth a try every once and awhile. read more

The store actually closes at 11:30 pm. When we take clothes to try on at 10:40 pm, the store associates told us that the fitting room was closed already. It doesn't make any sense that the fitting room closes an hour before the store closes. Wondering is that a normal policy at all of Ross stores? Wasted our time at picking clothes!!!!!!! Should at least tell us that the fitting room was closing!!! read more

Probably the dirtiest, sloppiest Ross I've been to so far (in Texas). Some of the clothing items were completely damaged or torn and yet still on the racks. Makeup/skincare products were dried out and broken, but yet still on the racks. Customer service was just plain .....crappy. read more

My mother visited the Ross in Carrollton (2660 N Josey Ln) yesterday to return an item. Since we live in Frisco she normally shops there but since she was picking up my grandmother in Carrollton she decided to visit the Carrollton location. Three days prior, my mother purchased light bulbs from the Frisco store. Unfortunately, the light bulbs did not fit and were not the correct size. When she tried to return the light bulbs in Carrollton the sales associate told her she was not able to take them back because they looked used and were possibly burnt out. My mother attempted to explain to the associate that the bulbs were just barely purchased and were not used because they did not fit. The associate went in the back and spoke to the manager. The manager still refused to take back the bulbs. My mother was upset and drove back to Frisco. The associate in Frisco gladly took back the bulbs and gave my mother a refund.  I called and spoke to the manager involved in the Carrollton incident by the name of Raya (spelling?). She again stated the same issue and I became upset when she once again insinuated the bulbs were used.  All my mother did was purchase light bulbs at Ross and 3 days later try to return them because they were not the correct size. The associate and manager at the Carrollton store made her feel like she was lying and this treatment of my 60+ mother is unacceptable. I would hope Ross had better customer service policies in place. The cost of this experience was $6. That's all the light bulbs cost. Not enough to make or break anyone. read more

Cashiers and employees were extremely rude. The next available cashier decided to leave the cash register and made everyone in line wait. To top it all off another employee cut in line in front of me. When I told her she was cutting in line she said she could because she was doing a return. Then she and the cashier stood there talking for ten minutes while the line grew. I will never return to Ross. read more

They just hire people with the worst attitude here and no customer care at all. Literally I got one item from the case and they brought it to the front, I had nothing else and they made me go into the line. My stuff is already up front and I have card in hand why not just check my item out real quick and I won't have to uselessly stand in line empty handed when my stuff is already up at the register, I'm just making the line longer! The security lady up front is very kind but everyone else at the registers or at the back really don't care or gave huffs or rolled their eyes at you, it's really unprofessional and rude. I know you've probably had a long day but not everyone deserves to be treated that poorly. Work on your positive attitudes please, every day sucks but it doesn't mean you have to show it! read more

I shop this store frequently. Today, the store was a mess. Clothes were on the wrong rack, wrong size hangers. And when checking out, I witnessed a cashier being so rude to a customer. The customer had been inline and the cashier took others first. The customer said something, the cashier said there were others in front of her, which wasn't true. A gentleman checking out said, she was there before him. When the cashier was thru, she said, now are you ready, in a smart ass attitude. read more

This store has the worst cashiers. Every time I've been here I've waited in line at least 10 minutes and that's with few customers with just a few items. The store does have very good finds but a manager needs to step in and look over his or her employees. I come here maybe once a month and each time is just as bad as the time before. Tonight the cashier didn't even greet me. She spoke just to tell me my total. When I'm shopping I am a bit happy because I'm out shopping!! Who doesn't enjoy it.. I've been to this store plenty of times over the last 5 or 6 years and I always tell myself to give them another try and I instantly regret it every single time right as I walk in. Walk in on any Sunday and you see one, maybe 2 cashiers working a line with over 25 people in it. One time I had to buy something as a gift that day and had to wait around 30 minutes in line. Completely ridiculous. The store always has clothes all over the floor, items in the wrong locations, and the sizes shown on the clothes hangers are never accurate. I was beyond disappointed this weekend at this location when I tried to exchange/return a shower curtain and bath mat in original package, price attached but without my receipt. Unfortunately I lost my receipt but I was just in the store a week or so ago I figured a quick exchange or store credit wouldn't be a problem. Boy was I wrong, can you believe the item I purchased for $14.99 was now marked down to .99 cents and the item I purchased for $4.99 was now .49 cents, even though the exact items were still available in store for purchase. I couldn't wrap my head around this logic. Why has the price gone down so drastically is it because I didn't have the receipt? Why couldn't I exchange the items for another shower curtain or bath mat. Hell why not exchange for anything within the bath department. I don't understand why this transaction was so difficult. A few different reason's jumped into my head but I won't even bring them up now. I'll frequent other stores paying a few bucks more will not kill me for customer service, common sense and respect. Many stores have an electronic way of finding purchases in their system for example by swiping the credit card used why doesn't ROSS use this method? I feel ROSS enjoys taking advantage of customers and its not fair. I will no longer frequent ROSS Dress for Less stores its just not worth the hassle. The store managers Nimen & Courtney were no help at all, said this was the store policy and offered no other option. Please do not leave personal items at this store. My boyfriend tried on clothes and may have left his jacket at this store. I called today and the customer service person told me if a customer found it they would have tagged and sold it and if an employee found it they would throw it away. I could not believe this was possible so we decided to go there in person this evening. We received the second answer again-that they would have thrown it away. WHAT? This was a Denver Broncos jacket worth over $60. What a bad way to do business! I'm very upset with them. I would give them a negative number for their customer service. read more

The store stinks and there is only one handicapped fitting room. There isn't a lot of toys for toddlers either.

The employees are not in any hurry to work and as a result we always wait in a line to check out for at least 15 minutes, if not 30.

I usually find a better selection of clothing at this location. But the line always takes forever...I don't usually see more than one or two cashiers. They are polite for the most part, but one day I bought two small tables and you're not allowed to bring the shopping carts outside. Nobody even offered to help me open the door as I was struggling to carry two tables on my own. read more
