When in the gardening section the gentleman there was giving great advice, but mentioned he wished that someone else was there. He stepped away to call the person whose day off it was, who agreed with his advice, and then came back and followed up with us to ensure that we were doing the best thing for our new landscaping. I don't know when I've had better customer service, these people know their stuff and actually care about your home. Do not hesitate to give them your business!

I have shopped there for 12 years, perhaps 2-300$ a year. I brought in a blank key I had purchased many years ago and asked them to make a copy of my house key. They told me I had to buy a new blank or they couldn't do it. People shop at places like Jabos to get the service you can't get at the box stores. The young man couldn't figure out how to operate the machine and wouldn't admit it. Then he got a lady who gave me the "you have to buy from us" routine. Neither were friendly. Then the manager finally came and gave me the same routine. Finally I asked him if he was going to be able to help me. I asked the question in a way that got to the point and made him decide. He stammered around and never did answer. At that point I did say "shit" to which he got immensely offended and started pointing his finger at me. "The new machine won't let us". Surely there is an override and in the rare event that there isn't, I hope the owner takes note. Needless to say, but I won't be returning to the local small business because of two things. Poor attitude and poor service. As the manager of a small store, you have to make big decisions. they made me feel as though I was at one of the big box stores. The sad thing is that I shop there because I had come to enjoy and expect the service, in a world that service is hard to find. Before you judge me, let me ask you. It required two passes to achieve the same cut quality as my old gas-powered mower. Additionally, the self-propelled feature felt clunky and was difficult to maneuver, making the mowing experience more cumbersome than convenient. I was hoping to make the switch away from gas and oil for conveince and environmental reasons, but unfortunately, this unit doesn't meet my needs. I've decided to return to using my old reliable gas mower for now. Now for Ace, I tried to return the mower after using it for 30-minutes and cleaning it up. I'm really upset about my Dad's experience at the Keller Springs Rd Home Depot. On October 1, 2025,…read moremy Dad visited the Home Depot store in the morning to buy home supplies for our family. What he expected to be a regular trip to the store turned into a disappointing and saddening experience. My Dad went to the self-checkout hoping to purchase his items, only to be met with rude behavior and poorly disguised microaggression from an older employee named "James". This employee yelled at my Dad in front of other customers and even said: "You don't know what I'm saying," completely dismissing my Dad's concerns. When my Dad went to complain to the manager on duty, she had excused this employee's behavior by saying: "Maybe he's having a bad day." We all have bad days, but that shouldn't be an excuse to embarrass and humiliate a customer who's simply trying to shop. My Dad has had many other issues with this store, but this was the final straw. He has been a loyal customer at this store for 15 years, and we can confidently say that we will no longer shop at this location. I also advise against any other Hispanic/Spanish-speaking people from shopping here. My Dad was able to advocate for himself today because he knows English, but I worry about those who don't, especially during these unpredictable times. You can definitely complete all your errands within one intersection in Carrollton. Lol! The staff is friendly and helpful, especially the paint team and the appliances team. They have the patience to answer all your questions all with a smile. The store is fairly organized and clean. They even have tall plastic dividers around the self checkout to help with social distancing. During their busiest times, you may have to wait a little bit if you need help getting things off the top shelf or anything in the lumber department, but that seems to be the case with all hardware stores. Overall, it's a good store and will most likely have what you're looking for.
