I've always found the staff to be just delightful, friendly and most helpful. My experience has been that the owners take such pride in their store and are always so welcoming to every customer who walks in. There are so many beautiful items; glass, crystal, candles, works by various artists, collectibles, etc., I can browse for an hour or more. They seem to always be adding new things to discover. I came to know about this place from Facebook - I follow their page (District 635) on there and was really impressed with the color palettes that they use and the uniqueness of the items they show on there. The store itself is just as impressive. They go to other furniture/ decor places and get their closeouts and sell them here. While they advertise that their prices are significantly less for designer pieces, I do not see much financial savings, HOWEVER, I am willing to pay their prices because, as I said, mostly everything in here is extremely unique. I will say this - I saw a coffee table here made out of a Russian boat propeller with a glass top (super cool and different!) for $2300 and it was $4000 at Restoration Hardware ... so that's something, right? :) They constantly get new pieces in, so you have to check back frequently. They are only open Thursday-Sunday, so you really want to try to get there Thursday to see the best things that they have to offer for the week. For the most part, you buy right off the floor. Sometimes they will have a few duplicate items from the floor back in their warehouse, but this is one of those places where when you see something you like, you better buy it because it may not be there next time. *Note: They are connected to The Dump, however, the styles/ selection is nothing like the The Dump. Trust me, I don't like The Dump either.

So, in the event you have a catastrophic even, likely you will have to change because you will not be able to duplicate your choice. i had that issue, wayer damage, and to keep from starting all over, I wanted to only replace what was damaged to keep what i have and love. Chewy, Annabelle and Chris at the Mansfield Tx store were amazing, very helpful and tried to do what was within their job descriptions to help but, F&D policies, process and procedure are not consumer friendly, not consistent with what is stated, promoted on their website consistentl. To make a king story short, they found the "discontinued" flooring in three (3) different states, $450.00 for the flooring, and shipped BECAUSE THEY DON'T SHIP... charged $450 per store for over $1,200.00 for Shipping. Highway robbery and raping their customer. I ONLY did so to save time. However, I still need flooring for four (4) other rooms and F&D manager would rather loose money, approximately $2,000 or more in sales, than expense the freight. Hell, they didn't bother to send the product back to main warehouse to ship to a store. Want that money... bottom line, they lost money. The store manager wasnof no help, so he can keep working hard and if I were you, be careful and spend your money wisely... else where.
