When you do find something good though, it feels like a win. The prices are great, and there's always a mix of clothing, home goods, and random gems to browse through. The store itself can be a bit bare at times, especially in the men's section and fur-baby treat aisle. If you're willing to take your time and dig around, you can score some really good finds. Overall, it's a solid spot at times if you enjoy bargain hunting and don't mind a little searching.

You're going to be in here for a while browsing and hunting through the racks. Second pro tip: they are closed on Mondays and store hours are from 12-7, 6 on Sundays. I recommend grabbing a roller basket, because you're going to need it. This place is very well laid out and organized. The items are organized by type and size. They offer ladies, men's, and kids. There is also a considerably large plus size selection. Especially formal and casual dresses. This includes several brand names and store brands as well. There is a massive shoe department. They also offer a smaller selection of accessories including purses and handbags. Prices were incredibly reasonable anywhere from 20-50% off or more of the regular price. They offer a dressing room and you're allowed to take in up to 7 pieces at a time. The team members running the dressing room are were very friendly and helpful. I came away with a very nice haul.

If you're a designer freak, they make it easy for you and have it separated by designer name. I'm a fan of Ralph Lauren/Polo and his section was small, but I found a new pair of jeans. A man can never have too many jeans. The shoe department was huge and had a great selection. I wish I didn't have a wide size, because there were several that I would have added to my shoe closet. I signed up for e-mails, because I learned on certain holidays, they have special sales where items are marked down to $3.99 and $9.99. Now those are prices that will make me fill up my shopping cart. Side Note - If you're a drag queen or cross-dresser, the evening gown selection was mind blowing. Also, if you're a high school girl, this is where to shop for prom dresses. You'll save a fortune. No associates on floor, they only work the check-out counters and the one I dealt with was friendly and efficient.

This was my first visit to a Lane Bryant store and I'd never shopped it online before either…read more Walking in, I didn't see any employees. I started to browse the racks; I came specifically for a pair of dress pants. The store seemed to mostly hold casual wear and it was not very easy to identify sections of casual wear, business attire, etc. I'm not sure if it is just this location or all of Lane Bryant, but finding any business attire was difficult as most of the clothing seemed to be just tops (not blouses) and loungewear. Of what was priced, the prices seemed astoundingly high and not even everything had a price. As I browsed, I made my way deeper into the store near the counter where I saw two employees talking to each other. As I continued, they greeted other guests who'd come in that were of similar skin tone as them, but not myself or the few other women that had my skin tone. I found a few pairs of slacks that might work, so I approached the staff to inquire on fitting rooms. I was told to just pick a room and she pointed toward a corner of the store. I pulled a few pants off the rack in the fitting room also, where you hang what didn't work out, as it was quite full. That fitting room rack is actually where I found the pair that I ended up purchasing. I made the purchase solely in that I didn't feel like going to more stores and the pants I found should work. I am going to try them on again at home and they may be returned because I don't feel they're worth the price. I'll NEVER return to THIS Lane Bryant or ANY again.

You also need to make the appropriate amount of eye contact with Erica. We were standing at the register clearly ready to purchase our items, but Erica told us she "didn't know" we wanted to check out because we weren't looking at her. When I questioned how that made sense, she decided I was being "aggressive." Thankfully, I started recording after that accusation. The video shows me speaking to her calmly and normally, despite how unnecessarily difficult she was making a basic checkout. Then Erica announced that she didn't have to sell us the shirt. Fine! We started to leave. A woman who was there in a police uniform actually had to step in and encourage her to just complete the transaction. And somehow it got even more ridiculous: Erica took my payment and then didn't want to hand me the shirt I had literally just paid for. What should have been a two minute checkout turned into an entire production over eye contact. I've never experienced anything like it. Maybe customer service just isn't Erica's ministry.
