Came here after the holidays to try to find some bargains. They didn't have too much on sale even…read morenormal items, but I did shop around a bit. The store was laid out well. I did notice at the registers they had the regular registers to check out, no self-serve registers like other locations. If you had to do a return, you waited in one line and that was Amazon returns and Kohl's returns all in the same line. It went relatively quick.

I went to two other locations and was given all but a "Aww, that's too bad. Sorry, I guess" and to be honest I was pretty hot under the collar. I was in the area and decided to just stop in and see if I could plead my case. Without even a second thought, Leah went above and beyond to work her magic and I am so so grateful. When I say I will go out of my way to only come to this Kohls location from now on, I mean it.

We were surprised to see that there doesn't seem to be a dedicated last act area, but the last act items are scattered throughout the floors in the different clothing sections. This makes it a little harder if you're specifically looking for off-season items and deals. We came in within the last hour and a half before closing time, and parked in the garage. Even though they made announcements about closing the doors, they blocked the doors earlier than the announcement stated. This made it very difficult to figure out how to actually exit the building, and then required of walk outside around the building to get to the garage in the dark. When I inquired about the doors, a worker told me that they closed them off early because if they don't, they get people running in through the garage entries close to closing time to grab merchandise and dash.

Working on commission, the ladies selling the fragrances were constantly asking to assist me, when I asked questions or told them what I was looking for, if it wasn't their product, their attitude changed. In fact, I can say most of the clerks were snobbish and prof of why department stores are dying a slow death. Fragrance is really something I do not want to buy on line without smelling it first, but with the service I got today, I may take the risk.

The employee started yelling at me that this location did not have a self checkout option. I asked why several people around me were able to scan their groceries and she said they pay $12 a month for that option in the app. In what world does it make sense to pay $12 a month to scan your own groceries?!? I know that part is not under the employee's control but her attitude is. They need to consider putting her in a different part of the store where she is not so customer facing... I gladly took my items and went to a checkout counter several aisles away where a cashier greeted me nicely and was super prompt. In the background, I continued to hear the banshee in the scan and go counter yelling at other customers that "this location does not have self checkout." Maybe better signage is needed...

So, I was easily able to find some meals, bottled baby food, baby food squeeze packs, diapers and wipes as well as a few other bath-time things for her. What I didn't find was the safety seat we had to buy bc the rental car company gave us the wrong size (too big) for our daughter so we had to purchase one. Two of the cheaper options weren't on the shelves and I couldn't find an associate to check in the back for me. It's in a very busy shopping center with dozens of other stores around so it was buzzing around 2pm when we arrived there on a Friday. I love Target and the consistency across states is comforting for finding trusted brands. Overall, a positive expiernece here, as expected.
