As a new patient they gave me the works using advanced technology that I've experienced the first time here at Oakley Dental Group. Their website has an entire page on this which led me to giving them a call and scheduling an appointment. The front desk lady was so friendly and welcoming. She was able to get me an appointment on the very same day due to a cancellation that came through. It was over my lunch hour, which was perfect. They also open as early as 8am, which will be convenient for future appointments (getting it out of the way before my busy work day gets underway). The woman who did my cleaning was also super friendly! She made me feel so comfortable and even provided me with great restaurant suggestions since I told her I just moved here and was looking for some goods spots. She really made my experience enjoyable and she knew what she was doing. Then the dentist, Dr. Graham, came in and was also very friendly and welcoming. I was seriously overjoyed at how nice everyone was! It's like they all brightened my day and put a bigger smile on my face (it also helped that I didn't have any cavities haha). I will definitely keep coming back here and I will be sending my fiancé here when he's due for a cleaning as well. I am SO happy to have done some research and found such a great dentist office! A doctor should never be a salesman, but an advocate. I had gone in for a cleaning and asked if they could round off a tooth that was poking me.... 20 minutes later, the doctor had used a putty to reshape all of my teeth to tell me how much better veneers would look on me. They also apparently had to fill all these cavities I supposedly had. My doctor was appalled at how deep they drilled for a routine cavity and now I may have to get a root canal as a result. Truly the worst type of people that only want your money and that's it. Never would recommend as a dentist. Unrelated, but when calling them just now to reschedule an appt for my boss, Google lists two different numbers and their website has a third number. Shocker, all if the numbers lead to the same time with a menu to choose from. All choices lead to someone named Tristan and it goes straight to her voicemail without ringing and once you get to the end and are waiting for the beep to leave a message, the phones hang up on you. Every single time. Literally every time I learn something new about this dental group it's always bad. Don't waste your time, money, or sanity.

I was new to the area and came in for a routine cleaning. During my exam, I noticed I had some sensitivity near my gum line. Dr. Elfers recommended a filling in that area to patch the exposed root, which I was fine with. She said that if I was coming in for one filling, I might as well have a few others done in some deep grooves I had in other teeth as a preventative measure. I was worried about this, as I was unsure if I could afford the cost. Her billing department said they ran my insurance and that my insurance would cover the entire cost of the procedures, and I would only be responsible for paying $25 out of pocket. I trusted her front office staff, and scheduled an appointment the fillings for a few weeks later. Months after my appointment, I am slammed with a dental bill for $380, when I was told it would only cost $25!! I would have never agreed to have all of this work done if I knew it was going to cost that amount! When I called to discuss this with them they said that they can't predict what the insurance will pay and that I would be responsible for the balance. I'm unsure why they initially told me that my insurance would cover the cost except for the $25 copay and they are now telling me they can't predict what the insurance will cover. Something doesn't add up. Her front office admitted to me that someone must have made a mistake when they initially gave me the quote, but are unwilling to own up to their mistake and make the situation right. Moral of the story: get EVERY billing quote in writing BEFORE you have work done with this office, or better yet go elsewhere. I see from previous reviews on Google that I am not the only person who has had an issue like this with this office. With the large amount of dental practices Hyde Park has to offer, I don't understand how they can get away with treating their patients in this way.

Later checked with other area dentists (ones not owned by Dental Associates Group) and the highest out-of-pocket, even for uninsured, was roughly half what Wyoming Smile Center charges.
