I've been with this practice for over 25 years. Always treated well - even if I don't always follow up with what I'm supposed to!

I'm always pleased with the Ross Dental Group. Dr. Moeller is the best! Very friendly and thorough. Melanie Root is a great hygienist.

I really wish I could give this place a negative star !! I had a broken wisdom tooth extracted…read more4/21/25 from twin dental! It resulted in Bell's palsy- not a single care from the dentist and after he told me "ummm I need to go research this" I knew I was in trouble. Almost a full year and I'm not 100% healed. After he gave me a bs prescription- no more follow ups to see how I'm doing, no further instructions on what to do. Only called to collect money. So I've racked up bills from my PCP, a new dentist and even an ENT just to prove it wasn't caused by my ears. I've racked up THOUSANDS in dentist/medical bills due to their lack of care. DO NOT EVER GO TO TWIN DENTAL!!! Im still being harassed for a $60 payment when they have already collected $400 from me and $500 from my insurance TO PULL ONE TOOTH!! They didnt even give me pain meds, not even a low dose one until i was in so much pain. And instead of calling it to the pharmacy- they told me i had 20 minutes to get it from their office aa they close early on friidays. Never in my life have i ever paid that much for an extraction. Or had a dentist who was etremely nonchalant about what HE had done!!(Even when i didnt have a job/insurance I only paid $160 and the emergency dentist on a friday at 7pm pulled it.) i will however, send them all my bills for the year of follow up ive had to deal with for their mistake. I have included a picture from the day before the procedure - the day of, the day after, a pic when i was being weened off the medication after 6 month of high dose steroids (due to the dentist prescribing a an extreme low dose that did nothing) and two additional pictures from this year 4 months post steroids two more teeth were also shattered due to the steroids and so I was deathly scared of getting those pulled, until this morning. I had no idea that a dentist office could be caring and comforting. But shoutout to Meier dental and Cincinnati oral surgeons for extracting 3 teeth (the two shattered and my last wisdom) under anesthesia, prescribed me a pill before I went in, had antibiotics on order, Tylenol 3 on order for pain. Sent me home with an ice pack and enough gauze to last a life time. My total out of pocket $600. Insane difference. These people took my life from me for almost a year. Due to being on steroids gained ao much water weight I had Charlie horses when I walked!, I also had high blood pressure, pre diabetic along with absolutely no energy and not being able to breathe all due to the side effects of the steroids I had to take to fix what THEY did. SO BEWARE OF TWIN DENTAL. Or at least if you find anything suspicious or wrong speak to a malpractice attorney IMMEDIATELY

They called the day before and canceled my appointment for a simple cleaning because there hygienist quit. Put me on a wait list for a cancellation. And scheduled another appointment for cleaning months out. Today my wife had an appointment for a cleaning and called to see if I could take her place, they said no I could come in and get X-rays and schedule an appointment then. Even know I was on a waitlist for a service they sold me that I paid for already they refused to let me take her place for a simple cleaning because it was over a year since my last cleaning. If you need thousands of dollars in work done they will see you, if you need your 2 teeth cleaning a year they won't get you in. I do not recommend there scam in house insurance. You pay and they don't do what they say. Don't waste your money or time. Maybe your hygienist wouldn't walk out and quit if you treated simple cleaning that have been paid for like a priority.

Update - 03 11 2026…read more Today I received a letter from Pleasant Run Dental thanking me for my payment and notifying me that my dental services were being terminated. When I first began treatment with Dr. George A. Downing Jr., we had a direct conversation about trust. I told him openly that I generally have difficulty trusting doctors, but I understood the need to address my dental issues. He said he needed my trust in order to treat me, and I chose to extend it. I followed his treatment plan and referred both my wife and daughter to the practice. Earlier in my treatment, Dr. Downing extracted a tooth and told me to call if I had complications, even providing a phone number. When I later experienced severe pain (10/10), I called multiple times over several hours with no response. I eventually drove to the office during posted hours but found it closed, and also called the emergency number provided. Dr. Downing later returned my call and apologized, which I accepted, and I continued with the practice. Over the past few months, I was unable to return as scheduled due to health issues. Instead of receiving an appointment reminder or invoice, I received a text stating my account would be sent to collections the next day. I didn't realize I owed a balance, and when I learned about it we paid it immediately. I believed the balance was about $150, but it was actually $450. The amount was not the issue; I simply did not know the bill existed. My wife was told not to return to the practice after only a few visits, without explanation. As a billing manager for 20 years, I understand the importance of timely payment and clear communication. Standard practice is to send an invoice or reminder before escalating a balance, especially when patients may need documentation for HSA reimbursement. A simple text "reminder" or a statement-of-account notice would likely have resolved the issue. I admit I was frustrated when I responded to the collection's text. However, when I raised the concern, the response focused on defending the billing process and criticizing my tone rather than resolving the situation. I had left my original five-star review even after the earlier issue with the unanswered emergency calls because I believed people sometimes fall short and deserve understanding. Unfortunately, it does not feel like that same patience was extended to me. I do want to note that I liked the staff, the dentist, and the office environment. My concern is simply that the situation could have been handled with clearer communication and mutual respect. Original My wife and I both became new patients and began dental work with Dr. Downing. I found him to be thorough, caring, and competent, and the front desk staff was consistently welcoming. While dental work is never enjoyable, I appreciated the direct and thorough approach to addressing what needed to be done and initially felt confident in the care we were receiving.

If I could get a zero rating i would .Dr Downing was about 45 minutes late from my appt time. No…read moreapology or recognition. No greeting. The first thing he asked when he came in the room , had to do with my hand.( I am disabled). He looks at my xrays n immediately tells me i need implants. I asked a simple question about the treatment. His reply was unprofessional, disrespectful and arrogant . It seemed he thought I was gullible and would take all his crap!! I now have my teeth fixed ,WITHOUT implants . (Trying to pad his wallet a bit???) HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
