I had all 4-5 teeth pulled on the same day and I felt no pain what so ever. They made sure we took small breaks in between. My flipper was ready in time for the wedding and it was PERFECT. Thankfully our insurance didn't cover my old dentist and since we live on the West side, we found ourselves at Shiller Dental. Thank goodness! They provide amazing care. They are very thorough and honest. That honesty remake may sound odd, but I remember as a kid going to a dentist that seemed to find problems on every visit, as if each visit was a money making opportunity. Not so at Shiller. Not only is their care superior, I consider them completely trustworthy. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

All the other dentists I talked to said they would have to put a temporary crown on the tooth. I would have to come back as much as 3 weeks later. This was the way it used to be and the new crown was always too high. I would have to keep going back to get it ground down. Not anymore. Dr Wilson's office may not look slick and fancy on the outside, but the work he performs inside is excellent. And the real bonus is his dental chairs have the old-fashioned rinse & spit bowls. Lenz is more soft spoken and never chastises me too bad for not flossing enough. The practice even had late hours one day a week (Tuesdays until 7pm I think) and opens as early as 7am on some days... They play soft background music throughout the place, usually 94.9 or 98.5 kinda stuff. The waiting area is stocked with good magazines and a TV. I usually do not have to wait that long either, which must mean they run on time, a rarity in healthcare. Parking lot is great. The place is ironically adjacent to a mini strip mall with a Subway, bank, a meat market, and a gelato cafe. I recommend you visit the last place, just not right after you have your teeth cleaned; wouldn't want to ruin them so soon, right?

All the horror stories I've heard about root canals were not true. Uncomfortable and awkward yes because of the Dr and his assistant with their fingers in your mouth and the tools and gear in your mouth at the same time but not any pain at all. Big difference in awkward and pain. Awkward you can deal with but pain is no fun. This was 2 root canals. I was in and out in 1.5 hours. Back in Dec 2025 was my first visit after originally calling in November and spoke with Josh at front desk. He was warm, reassuring and knowledgeable who booked me in December and assigned me with Dr. Mia Stone. She was , is great. Comforting, gentle touch and very thorough. She did 3 crowns, and a small filling. Prior to all that work I had the deep gum and root cleaning the Scaling and root planing from April Voelker the hygienist there in house. She was also excellent and very gentle with that procedure. These folks are so cool in that they tell you if you feel any pain during any procedure to raise your hand and they will ease off. That is caring for the patient. Not once did I have to raise my hand thru all my procedures. The ladies at the front desk are also great with scheduling, billing and very warm and friendly. Jocelyn, who has moved to the Eastgate office, Ari, and Grace. When you leave a Dentist feeling good that is all anyone can ask for. All the work I needed is my own fault for being negligent over the years. There are others in the office that I did not meet or have work done by but I'm sure they are also very good. They do most work in house like the deep scaling and crowns. They make your new crowns while you wait. Everyone I mentioned above and the entire operation there is 5 Star. AAA+++++
