I had a filling done, and two weeks later it came out. At that point, I was told I needed a crown, which felt aggressive to me. My original experience was honestly the worst dental experience I've had. The dentist was new, and it felt like the team didn't have a working relationship yet. More than anything, there was a lack of compassion. I could have overlooked that if the care itself felt solid, but it didn't. The assistant who worked on my filling was rough and came across as rude. While my eyes were closed, she kept tapping my nose telling me to breathe through it so I wouldn't fog her mirror. It was all uncomfortable and unlike anything I've experienced at a dental office before. I ended up requesting a different dentist, and that completely changed things. Dr. Everhart was great. He took a far more conservative approach and had excellent bedside manner. The assistant with him was also kind and professional. That experience felt much more in line with what I expect from a dental practice. This experience showed me how much the quality of care can vary within the same office. If something doesn't feel right, don't settle. It's okay to ask for a different provider. read more

My husband has been going to this dentist office for a few months now and has been raving to me about how great they are. I was still seeing my "old" dentist until recently but was now ready to change since it took me an hour drive to get there after our move to Middletown. I decided to give it a go and make the switch and am so happy about it. I love that this dentist office is offering appointments in the evening. This is a big plus for me since I am working full time. The staff is extremely nice - I felt so welcomed. My dental hygienist and her assistant Zoe were so gentle and made me feel so at ease. We've been coming here for years and recently noticed a significant decline in the front desk. The doctors and hygienists are always great. Whenever you need something explained by the front desk they always have an attitude and don't know the answer. Whenever you call in for help they whisper talk so you can't hear anything they say. It's crazy to say because the doctors are really great but the front desk staff makes you want to find another dentist office. They're the first and last point of contact and you'd think they would want those experiences to leave a good impression. Instead, I'm frustrated and leaving this review. Why? This is an exceptional team and office. I brought my entire family here and they got us back right at appointment time, and Mariah, the assistant, made us feel right at home. My 8 year old had a small fever blister and Mariah still managed to take all the x rays and polish her teeth and make her laugh! I recently left the dentist I had been going to for 20+ years wanting someone closer to home after I retired. I went to K&E dentistry for a simple cleaning but was also told I had to have a crown and mouth piece for night time use. When I scheduled that appointment for the crown I made a $100 deposit and then was sent numberous forms to fill out electronically. When I checked in to have the temporary crown down, I was asked to pay the balance of $600+. I was taken back to a "room" where the dental assistant/tech began prepping me for the crown. After being given 2 shots of anesthetic in my gums, the tech asked me to fill out a "consent" form. I replied, "A consent for what?" She said, "the crown." I responded, "Oh, the crown procedure you have already started? Well, it's a little late for that now isn't it." She replied, "I could leave if I wanted." I have since spoken with two office managers who thanked me for bringing this to their attention but that allll the dentists do this in their office. I responded that this doesn't make it right. I've been going to dentists regularly my entire life and have never been asked to sign a consent form during a procedure! The consent form notes possible side affects to the anesthetic. I pointed out to both of them they had multiple opportunities to have me complete a consent form "prior" to the procedure. When I went in for the permanent crown, I asked to speak with the one of the owners, Dr. Scott Everhart and Dr. Mamta Kori, but I was told they don't get involved with their patients. Wow, ok. Nice. When one of the other dentists came in from behind (you have no idea who they are) to complete the crown, she left without saying a word. No, have a nice day, don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out, nothing. In addition to their underhanded business practices, one feels like they're in an assembly line and was being up-sold from day one. I have since left the practice. read more

Called this morning, and was able to be seen immediately regarding irritated gums. They even brought me in earlier than I anticipated as I arrived early. They did X-rays, pictures, and had a full exam by Dr. E. They diagnosed me with confidence, gave me recommendations for care, and told me if in 2 weeks it was no better to call and get back in. They all have wonderful customer service etiquette. Experts in what they do and they work as a team. If they need equipment they just ask for it over their radio coms and it's almost immediate. 100% recommend for all care to include emergencies. They also have weekend hours and are open later to fit the clients needs. read more

Run. Especially if you have good insurance. They will damage good teeth and diagnose you with advance periodontal disease--a label that will follow you--all to "fix" the problem they created. They damaged my teeth and gums so badly that I've had problems ever since. And what are the odds that I ran into two other people who've both had healthy teeth who was similarly injurred. I'm not buying all these rave reviews. They drilled all kinds of cavities in many of my kids permanent teeth--none had ever had a cavity before or since. This place is hands down the nicest dentist office I've ever seen! Ask for Rachael or Kevin, they are dental hygienists and they're SUPER friendly. They have an ultra modern office, complete with massaging chairs while you get your teeth cleaned. She is very gentle during the cleanings and always explains what she is doing. The front staff does a great job reminding me when I have an upcoming appointment. They have always been accommodating to schedule my appointments around my school and work schedule. I used to be uneasy about going to my dentist appointments but now I feel very comfortable that I am in great hands. Their three offices do not know what the others schedules are so there is mass confusion if you start in one office and have to go to another and God forbid you need an oral surgeon through them. At first I thought the place was great. The hygienist and others ladies in the back were awesome. The dentist was great and helpful, put a plan together for my procedure. 4 crowns on top. When leaving I asked the front desk if she had turned in my insurance. Her eyes crossed as she rudely said I will. 2 months later and me calling them 5 times they keep going in circles and putting me off. I called my dental insurance and they were as surprised as me. I went to a previous dentist last year and it was approved. I don't like this particular dentist work so wanted someone who dealt in cosmetic dentistry. I plan on calling the manager tomorrow and tell her she needs to train the front desk. This is Totally unprofessional. I asked her the 3rd time about my insurance and she said they were still waiting to hear from them. I told her that wasn't true as I just called them for the 4th time and they said the office received the info. For some reason my procedure was entered differently and insurance refused even tho previously approved. The papers I was sent didn't even Sound like it was my mouth. The dentist needs to have a long talk with the front desk. I wouldn't go back there now if it was free. My son is terrified of the dentist. He has been seeing a family dentist for years and he has never gotten over his fear. The family dentist told us that he had to have a root canal done on a back molar. The dentist tried and could not complete the procedure. He referred us to a specialist, who was not in our network. It would cost us over a thousand dollars to go there. We heard about Dr. Kori and Dr. Everhart from a local source and knew they worked with children, my son is 15. The first time we took him there he was in tears, terrified and having the worst anxiety. He literally told me it would be less scary to be stabbed then it was to be there getting his teeth worked on. It was so terribly sad. After a while, he came out of the treatment room with Dr. Kori and looked pale and tired. He had stopped crying and said it wasn't bad, but the news wasn't good. He needed to come back to complete the treatment. The roots were deep, but Dr. Kori knew she could fix it with more time, my son was just exhausted. The next time we went, my son didn't cry. He wasn't nervous and didn't need me to walk him back to the room. The appointment didn't last long and afterwards the treatment was a success! My son came out smiling and boy was I happy to see that face! Dr. Kori said she was proud of how well he did and I was too! The assistants were so awesome with my boy! Now my son is asking to switch dentists for good AND I don't blame him! Dr. Kori and her staff has truly helped change the way my son views the dentist and dental treatments.
