They did some red light on my teeth and claimed I had a ton…read moreof cavities, teeth rotting inside, etc. using some red light they claimed could find cavities. Decided to get another opinion, as I have only had one cavity in my life and had no pain or sensitivity. Saw another dentist that said no cavities at all. Decided to go to one more dentist for a "tie breaker" and that dentist also confirmed absolutely no cavities, even did Xrays to confirm. I feel conned by this place even to this day, several years later so decided to write a review when I saw the name come up in a search I was doing. To this day, many years later, I still have no cavities. I feel this place is just about grabbing as much money for you as possible and seems to want to do unnecessary dental work. Would not recommend them at all and if you do go and they tell you that you need a bunch of dental work, GET ANOTHER OPINION before you waste your hard earned money.

She never pressures you into any treatment and listens to your concerns. I had several cosmetic issues I wanted corrected and a number of dentists throughout the years rolled their eyes at me like I was being so superficial. After getting my braces off over 10 years ago, I had number of yellow stains on my teeth that were very bothersome to me. Two previous dentists told me there was nothing I could do and I should have flossed better as a young teenager. The damage was done and I was stuck with these stains. Dr. Hayden was the first dentist who was willing to help, and not only that but she explained how simple it was to correct the problem (honestly, it took her 30 minutes). I've also had a problem with Novocaine wearing off on my upper row of teeth. Other dentists acted like I was faking the pain I was feeling. Dr. Hayden explained that it's not uncommon for some patients to metabolize the Novocaine faster than others. Whenever I'm in a procedure with her, she always checks on my comfort level and administers more Novocaine before the pain sets in. I liked her so much that I brought my four year old in to see her and he actually likes the dentist! Can you believe it? Also, when you refer a new patient, you get a set of professional grade teeth bleach for free! They are awesome! All of her bleaching procedures are done at cost and are shockingly inexpensive. Thanks to Dr. Hayden, I'm no longer afraid of the dentist and I'll be a patient with her until she retires!

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Aspen Dental - Middletown, OH…read moreI had the worst dental experience imaginable with Aspen Dental in Middletown, OH. My initial consultation was promising, with the staff assuring me everything would go smoothly, but that couldn't have been further from the truth. After my first appointment, I was told my dentures would be ready in two weeks, and the total cost for both top and bottom dentures would be $4,553.00. Since I had insurance and was a self-pay customer, I financed $1,200, leaving a balance of $3,353. I was excited and optimistic, especially after being told that my dentures would be ready so soon. Five days after my first visit, I paid the remaining $3,353.00 in full. However, just two days before my scheduled pick-up appointment, I received a voicemail requesting my insurance information, which was confusing since I had already prepaid in full. When I called back, I couldn't get through to anyone at the Middletown office and was transferred to their call center. They informed me the Middletown office was closed, with employees working from home. This was frustrating, especially considering the sensitive personal information they were handling while working remotely. It seemed like they had no idea what was going on. The next day, I finally spoke to someone who explained that the request for my insurance information was just a "standard practice" for patients without insurance. Despite prepaying, they assured me I could pick up my dentures the next day. But when I was just 10 minutes away from the office, I received another voicemail telling me my appointment was canceled due to a delay with my dentures. I called the office first thing in the morning to ask about the delay, and they said they couldn't give me an estimated time frame because "the lab was delayed." The worst part was that this was the first time they mentioned the delay, even though I had been in constant communication with them. After a bit of thought, I recalled them bragging about having an onsite lab, so I called back to ask for more details. It turns out the reason for the delay was that my scans had been incomplete - something they had failed to identify until the day before my appointment. The incompetence was astounding. Why hadn't this been caught in the two weeks since my first appointment? Why was I only finding out about this last-minute? They apologized and asked me to come in the following Monday to redo my scans and wait another two weeks for my dentures. I showed up Monday morning at 8:25 AM, only to be told I didn't have an appointment. After some back and forth, I was eventually told that the dentist who had done my scans had been fired. Then, a new dentist informed me that the pricing I was quoted was wrong. I had been given the incorrect location's pricing, meaning the $4,553.00 cost would now be increasing by $1,600. At this point, I was extremely frustrated. Not only had I been misled and given incorrect information from the start, but now they were asking me to come up with more money for their mistake. I was left with two options: pay the additional $1,600 at pick-up or get a full refund. I chose the refund, as the entire process had been nothing but a headache. I would not recommend Aspen Dental to anyone. Their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and constant mistakes left me feeling completely disregarded as a customer. I can only imagine the generic, unhelpful response they'll give to this review, but it only further proves that they're focused on money, not patient care. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

The WalMart dentist told me I needed a crown, and it would cost about $600-700 after insurance. I arrived at my appointment with Dr. Haas, and he asked, "Who told you you needed a crown?" An hour later, I had my new filling (covered under my dental plan) and my mouth was as good as new. A very amiable office staff, talented health care professionals, and I enjoyed the "hometown" feeling I had lost when the last dentist headed into retirement. They retrieved all my records for me, entered all the insurance information in for me, and saw me early enough in the morning, I was able to make it to work on time, without having to use sick hours. Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve their family dentistry!

Went in for a cleaning, Feb 2027 I was getting radiation treatment they said we suggested deep cleaning. I said I never approved that but just want a cleaning. They said we can not do cancelled my appointment. March new appointment agree to deep clean in 2 areas they charging g insurance over $1100 but I would need to pay copay of $330+ today before treatment.
