I have NEVER received a call back explaining what's going on with my paid order. I've asked for a manager to get ahold of me 4x now and nothing. I have also called other locations like Andersonville, and Michigan Ave - and it seems none of the workers have the corporate office phone/email, nor can they direct me to someone of authority who could expedite my aging issue. I fear my eyes are potentially getting worse because I am not using my small prescription to read - and none of Rosin's workers seem to care enough to execute what they tell me they will. They have billed my insurance, taken my money, and now a Sh$tload of my time. If you have a choice - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE for your eyecare needs!!! Save yourself this cataract of customer service.

Besides being personable yet very professional, Dr. Ostoich and his entire practice is definitely up to date on all of the latest in eye care. And that's more important than one would think. Unlike all of the cheapie eye stores that don't do complete eye exams, Dr. Ostoich looks at EVERYTHING to be sure your eyes are healthy! My visits are usually about 45 minutes long as they're looking at my retinas, testing eye pressure for glaucoma and searching for cataracts. During one of his thorough exams on my girlfriend a few years back, Dr. Ostoich discovered tumors in her eyes and immediately sent her to an oncologist. Disappointing her gynecologist didn't find it first since she had just seen him, and that's where the cancer started. Dr. Ostoich was definitely the Hero in that situation!! If it weren't for his thorough eye exams, God only knows how much further the cancer could have spread before it was detected. An eye exam store in the mall would not have found this! And then there's the usual vision test. About 15 to 20 years ago, Dr. Ostoich switched me from soft contact lenses to, just as comfortable, gas permeable lenses due to the fact that my vision had been changing to the worse so quickly, at the time. I'm happy to report, my vision hasn't changed one bit since!! I'm still amazed that I have the exact same vision that I did so many years ago!! And it's great to see the Doc smile when he realizes the same thing, knowing he's done his job well. In Summary, Dr. Ostoich and his practice might cost more than going to For Eyes or any other cheapie mall store, but when it comes to your vision, I don't want to go cheap and neglect the health of my eyes. This is actually a review for two Big City Optical locations, the one on Grand Avenue where Dr…read more Rassa did my eye exam and also the location inside Northbridge mall (by Nordstrom) where I found the eyeglasses. Both were very professional and caring. Let's first talk about the exam. Upon meeting Dr. Rassa I explained how my right eye was bothering me and it had been a while since my last exam (which was elsewhere). She had me take out my contacts and look into her equipment which was very state of the art. As wild as it sounds, I was able to see my eyeball and all the blood vessels in 3D on her big screen. Then we talked about my vision and current lens prescription. She took extra time to fully evaluate me as a new patient and answered all of my concerns. I never felt rushed and I could tell Dr. Rassa genuinely cares about her patients. As it turned out, I needed an eye drop prescription for a mild eye infection which was the cause of my discomfort. She called it into Walgreens for me to pickup on my way home. I was quite impressed when Dr. Rassa called me two days later to see if my eye felt better. After getting my new vision prescription I looked at frames on display but just didn't see anything that totally captured my interest so I walked over to the Big City Optical location inside the Northbridge mall and found a few I liked. Note: This location has the big designer frames like Gucci, Prada, Burberry, Cartier, Victoria Beckham, Persol, etc. Thankfully they take vision insurance on prescription eye wear because it can start to add up! George is the store's optical manager and he is simply fantastic!! He took time to help me decide which frame to order based on how I plan to wear the glasses. Was it just for reading or watching shows or would they be for long hours of computer work? We talked about the function and fashion for eye wear and he made the whole decision-making experience fun overall. Tell him I sent ya:) It took a few weeks for the prescription glasses to be ready. Upon pickup, George enthusiastically greeted me back to the store and made sure they fit properly. While I know he sees customers all day everyday, he made me feel like I was important and to me that's top notch service! Between Dr. Rassa and George, you can bet you have Chicago's best here to make sure you see your best. Thank you both for an exceptional experience.

The sales staff were also great, helping me pick a great pair of frames and getting me exactly what I wanted. I don't think I got the gentleman's name but he was also amazing and great to work with. The selection of frames they had were very extensive and you're bound to find the perfect pair for you.
