Lack of Discretion: When presenting the check, she loudly yelled out the total amount of the bill in front of other patrons, which was highly inappropriate and unprofessional. Disparate Treatment: I observed her treating other parties with a level of courtesy and attentiveness that was pointedly withheld from me. General Demeanor: Her overall attitude was dismissive and overtly rude throughout the meal. For identification purposes, the server was a female of minority descent, approximately 5 feet tall with a heavy-set build. I have long respected Tun Tavern for its historical significance and its ties to military tradition. However, the treatment I received was inconsistent with the standards of hospitality one would expect from your establishment. I believe it is important for management to be aware of this incident so that it can be addressed through proper training or disciplinary measures.
