The process of booking with Roshi was simple and Daniel made it easy to come up with a personalized menu that accommodated some guests who were vegetarian as well. Each dish was full of flavor and delicious. The crew was a fun time while also staying very professional. Hosting a party can be stressful but once the Roshi crew arrived (And on time) I was able to fully be present and enjoy my own party at home. They also left my kitchen spotless before leaving. Chef Daniel is incredible! It was such a treat to sit back and watch our kitchen turn into a sushi restaurant. He even helped to lay out the table, and brought small touches that really kicked the aesthetics up a couple of notches! The food was delicious and just the right amount. The fish - super fresh. I shocked my senses with the wagyu sushi - I never tried it before and it was a revelation. Chef Daniel kindly accommodated an extra vegan course for my husband. I appreciated how he engaged with the guests and introduced the courses. Everything was perfectly timed. The stoneware provided was beautiful and varied - different plates for different courses, complete with linens, chopsticks and napkin rings. We literally did not have a thing to do, aside from washing the wine glasses. At the end, Chef Daniel left the kitchen spotless, and even the floors were pristine. I couldn't be happier! My birthday was in February and I'm just writing my review now thinking about how delicious it was. I can't wait to have him back to do it again! The fish was so fresh honestly some of the best ive ever had. He was able to find and prepare all of my faves and even went out of his way to pick up a few last-minute additions. My mom surprised me with catering for my 30th birthday party so we could have a covid safe dinner. A couple hours before Chef Daniel came and set everything up, including the dining room with custom printed menus, sake, and background music. The attention to detail was amazing! Every dish was thoughtfully crafted and executed, and the ingredients were super fresh. I haven't had sushi that good in a really long time, and the noodles he made were one of a kind.
