This review has been way overdue!!…read more My bestfriends and Fiancé took a trip up to Crestline for my surprise engagement! Cheryl and Bobby were not only fantastic hosts but also an amazing addition to the celebration. Before we arrived, Cheryl and I stayed in constant communication gathering all our individual preferences, preparing us for the weather, and overall providing us with some helpful tips to make the weekend super special. Their home is immaculate, filled with fun activities, remarkable views, and delicious food! Cheryl and Bobby made us feel right at home with their genuine and upbeat personalities. We immediately nestled in to the second level where we began serving drinks at the Tiki bar, taking turns in the ULTIMATE massage chair, while the boys played a game of pool and the girls had a photoshoot outside. At the end of the night, I was lured upstairs for the biggest surprise of my life!!! Rose petals leading out to the lit up gazebo with stunning mountains in the background I found my boyfriend on one knee. After an instant "YES - PUT THE RING ON" I found our friends and hosts filming the whole thing for our forever memories. As if it couldn't get any better - Cheryl prepared a beautiful homemade dinner for us to enjoy. And Finally we ended the night with Top Gun and dessert in the movie theater. AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE.

The fresh hot popcorn, candy, and snacks were better than going to the big theater. Chairs were super cozy with extra pillows and blankets if needed and reclined for comfort. We all agreed that if we had to choose between a big theater and this, the The Place to Be is hands down the winner! There is also a picturesque view of the lake and mountain. It was a great experience from beginning to end and I highly recommend an event at the Place to be Crestline. Cheryl is amazing and a fantastic host. Thank you for your hospitality!

I purchased so many thing that I, of course, NEEDED! The one item that I got was the Finamil battery operated salt, pepper and spice mill. I fell in love with it, I got it in my favorite color, red. Recently a friend of mine mentioned how much she loved it, I knew her boyfriend's birthday was coming up and asked him it he was interested in it for HIS birthday (wink wink). So I called the store and I spoke with the Boss Lady herself, Jan. I was so impressed by her sweet and humble demeanor, she walked me through it, I purchased a gray (manly) color, including all the spices, an extra container and a corner stand. The package arrived in two days, and inside were 4 different packages beautifully wrapped in a colorful array of cactus paper, intricately stacked on top of each other and held together with a beautiful bow! Omg it was a work of art everyone was so impressed! Thank you Jan, you are awesome and one of these days I'll come back and visit, but this time I'm going to not leave LOL! Everything was supposed to have been cut and prepared in advance at what Anthony said was his commercial grade kitchen in Redlands. Nothing was prepared at all. He had to use my kitchen for everything. Food service started over an hour and a half late. Poor quality ingredients, quiche pie crust being low grade store bought, which reflects everything else that was finally served. He ran out of food almost immediately. He was very unprofessional laughing and talking with others loudly in my kitchen while he was running so late with putting the food out. It was an awful experience for me and I would never use him again or recommend him under any circumstances. I could have done better myself and saved $8,000! And all this followed by ghosting me to even apologize. DO NOT USE THIS CATERER.

It was our first time and they made us feel extremely welcomed and invited. That's a HUGE green flag in my book. You want to be around people excited about their job and what they do. When I went to pick up my friend's kid, he was very excited for what he cooked. I got to try some of the pizza he made and honestly, the crust was better than a lot of the pizza joints out there and the crust I've made before. He's in the older class (pre teens and teens) and seemed to enjoy cooking with them. Afterwards, the front desk told us about the different classes and programs. We got the recipe for this week and past weeks so we can try them at home as some of the items caught my eye. He loved the class and will be going back. If your kid has an eye on cooking and wants to learn, I'd definitely sign them up here. It's always good to have some hands on help to ask questions and learn. Wish they had more classes and we missed out on sign ups for the summer. It's $40 a class or 4 weeks is $145 I believe. 90 minute classes. Since they already have the ingredients and everything, it's worth the price.

It was very obvious that Chef Alex had conducted multiple corporate team building events as well as being a skilled/seasoned chef. We had 22 people for our team building event and there was plenty of space for us to each have our own cooking stations (teams of two) and there was ample seating for all of us to enjoy the fruits of our labors after the cooking was completed. We prepared thai food for our event and, WOW, was it amazing. I mean (literally), this was the best thai food that I'd ever had and this is coming from someone who's wife says "you eat way too much thai food!" The very tasty food is a testament to how well run this place is because we are just a bunch of accountants but we also apparently have an inner self that knows how to cook thai food. Overall, this place is clean, fun, there is ample parking and I would highly recommend. If this place wasn't so far from me, I'd definitely go back on a date night with my wife.

Chef Alex was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly accommodating, especially with our very last-minute booking request (less than a week's notice). Throughout the entire event, he was patient, kind, and engaging with the boys. He took the time to guide them at each cooking station, clearly explaining what to do and then letting them take over and experience it hands-on. He created a really fun, relaxed environment where the kids felt confident and involved. We all trusted the process, and the food turned out fantastic--but even more than that, the boys had a blast doing it. It was the perfect mix of learning, teamwork, and fun. I would highly recommend this experience for any team-building event, youth sports team, or even private parties like birthdays. It's interactive, memorable, and really well-run. Thank you again, Chef Alex, for an amazing afternoon! -- San Marino Little League All-Star Team
