We have stayed twice with Christine and Scott at the White Farm B&B and have had a delightful…read moreexperience each time. They have done a beautiful job of preserving the look and feel of a historical home in the middle of rolling hills, cornfields and country roads. We have passed many a peaceful hour on their spacious and comfortable front porch listening to the crickets and birds, watching the magnificent show of stars each night, reading and often chatting with these two fascinating owners. The beds and linens are very comfortable and all the amenities are available. Christine is a terrific cook and we enjoyed lovely breakfasts of omelets, blueberry pancakes, lemon scones, luscious fruits, etc. We came to the area to bike on the Erie Canal and felt like we were coming "home" each afternoon to a warm and welcoming place. We can also give a shout out to the incredible pizza served up at The Rooster in downtown Brockport near the Canal. I would recommend The White Farm with no hesitations.

I have to qualify this review by stating that I am not a B&B person. But I thought I'd give it…read moreanother try.... So here is my slightly biased review: PROS: Truly nice couple who are fun to chat with. Old (really old) funky, farm house with a museum of antiques inside. Pretty, rural countryside. At night, VERY quiet and dark outside, if that's your thing. Close to lots of fresh veggie farm stands. Close to Lake Ontario. Ask about pet policy. CONS: Musty house - as all old homes are. A bit dark inside. Very steep narrow stairs to room. Linens are not white (can you "sanitize" multi-colored linens?) Window air conditioners. So, if you like the idea of a more homey, personal approach to lodging and love antiques, this is the place for you.

I have stayed at 1837 Caobblestone Cottage a total of 3 times so far and each visit is more…read morespectacular than the last. First of all, the place is right our of a fairly tale book. Quaint and charming, yes but also spacious and luxurious at the same time. The common areas are beautiful and huge. The front room has two fireplaces (one at each end). Perfect for sitting and relaxing with a coffee or tea if you happen to be there in the fall or winter. The rooms are spacious as well. But what really sets the place apart is the friendly and accommodating atmosphere provide by owners Joe and Kathy and THE FOOD! This is no basic eggs, bacon and pancake place in the morning. Breakfast usually consist of 3 to 4 courses, everyone of which is a delight to all the senses. Some of my favorites are the candied bacon, ham & cheese sliders and the pan-shake (a pancake and syrup flavored milkshake made with real pancakes, syrup, ice cream and milk)...YUM. You will not be disappointed. Jim

Tammy and Dave are excellent hosts and two of the nicest people we've met. We need more folks like them in this world. The room (Captain's Quarter) was spotless and very comfortable. Tammy's breakfasts are not only delicious, but are truly works of art. The location is perfect for sightseeing and easy to get to. We HIGHLY recommend staying at the Cobblestone Cottage. It is THE best B & B we've ever experienced. We will be back next year! Thanks Tammy and Dave. you guys are awesome. Frank & Jeannie
