Big Guys is a great up and coming campground. We have a pop up so utilized a tent site with power - plenty of space to put the camper in and set up. The pool is beautiful, the playground is good quality with a side of farmer flare.. my 9 year old loved the pillow bounce pad, we all enjoyed the various activities (bingo, crafts, water ears, disc golf etc). The camp store had all the right things including Byrne dairy ice cream sandwiches a gourmet dog treats! A total bonus is the 585 Tavern in the same grounds for delicious good! Playground Behr play set with rope feature in addition to a Gaga pit and a farmer tire/tunnel side feature!! Restrooms As a pop up with no facilities, bathrooms were good. The restrooms at the rec center were air conditioned with showers!! Dog-friendliness Has a small dog area, dogs were welcome EVERYWHERE except inside the pool gates

Many thanks to Bernadette for setting that up. We arrived at dark and the campground was well lit and directions were easy to follow. Laundry room and bathhouse nearby and kept very clean. Grounds well manicured with picnic tables and fire pits at each site. Tree branches are trimmed back so no worries about losing an AC unit. Very well maintained!! We are here in October so pools were closed but there are two and there also multiple playground areas for the children--- big kids too. Best WiFi in a campground yet! They had invested in booster boxes all throughout the campground. Just 40 minutes from Letchworth State Park---STAY HERE! you will be happy!

The camp spots are larger than some I've stayed at. Two laundry rooms that I have found (may be more). Huge store with all your camping needs, food, and entertainment and games for the kiddos. Miniature golf and swimming pool. water aerobics. Church on Sundays if you like church. Very large campground. Quiet a few annuals live here. They do themes on the weekends. Last weekends theme was all about kids. Great family friendly campground. Great for groups too! There was a very large group here last weekend.

The loops are not wide streets and it was a little tight to get out of our spot with a 28' and extended cab truck. If there were another camper parked across from us we wouldn't have been able to get out. Laundry on site and the store had tons of snacks. Past the old basketball court (across from section D) is a wandering nature trail/Maze. Staff that we interacted with were friendly and quick. Really quiet and peaceful place to stay for 2 weeks. Walmart is within 20 minutes if you need anything. Check out the Circle R farm store right down the street, too!

Plus camping is offered for people who want to make a weekend of it, a marina/boat launch, and lots of spots for fishing. Both disc golf courses are well kept with excellent signage and tee pads. They even have marks for the red tees which most courses ignore. There isn't much litter around either, which is either a testament to the park staff or a sign of how underutilized this park is. Either way, be sure to pack an extra layer of clothing in the car. We visited and the air temp a few blocks away from the park was 80 degrees. But at the park itself it was only 50. The breeze off of Lake Ontario can be very chilly!

Looks like someone was playing jarts and where ever it landed is where they placed the pit. A previous review said they had new cabins, I didn't see any as we drove around in the golf cart. Maybe they are remodeled on the inside but the outside hasn't been touched in what looks like 40 years. There are not many weekend camp spots, it is mostly all seasonal. I'm talking multiple sheds on sites along with decks and large canopy's. There are some amenities. Fitness center but you have to be 18 to use (very strict on the age). If you have young kids the playground is quite nice, I'd say even better than some KOA's we've been to. There is also a place to fish, a pool and a beach with swimming. The showers were disappointing, no chair or bench to sit on. Do you know what it's like hopping around on one foot on a slippery floor trying to put your underwear on, next to impossible. The water was nice and hot but you had to press the know every 3 seconds. Golf cart rental $68 per day Wood bundle $10 each Quiet hours start at 10p.
